I don't know why some people are getting so hyper of Mehek reaction after the fake one-night stand...! This show is very different and bold..both in actions and dialogues...! Whether you move alongside the evolutionary change that the world is undergoing, and where sex is no more a taboo subject..or you don't accept it...!

Mehek is such a character who is moving with the evolution/change that life is bringing on...she wasn't shocked when her friend Sonal was romancing her fiancee in the flat...! She was shown to be ok with it...and it was something normal for her, she didn't hide herself, but came forward...! I'm sure if Mehek was sane and sound of mine...and spent the night with Shaurya, she wouldn't have made a tragedy of it...! She was acting childish and shocked, because, she was angry that Shaurya tricked her and took advantage of her unconsciousness..! She was like a child...whose favorite toy has been stolen by the bad boy of her class..!

Her phone conversation with Sonal...and her reply to Shaurya that she isn't the type of girl to suicide after loosing her virginity...and cvs, showing her to be so bold/comfortable whenever Shaurya is close to her...sex and everything that comes and goes with it...are no big deals or crimes for Mehek...! She may come from a middle-class family, not well educated...but, she knows how to advance, move forward, develop and progress at the same rate as life evolution...! Mehek is a modern girl...with an open-minded thinking/thoughts...and behaviors...!

Anyways...all the young generations of this show are portrayed to have no issues with sex...whether, it's Shaurya, Mehek, Sonal, Vicky, Ajay, Nehal or Shruti...! At last...the cvs of this show are showing something different...which I'm enjoying very much...unlike, some of the shows which are telecasting far more disgusting, repugnant and illogical tracks...!

And yes what you say is true about the free thinking, open minded characters. It makes more sense when you put it that way. I forgot about her reaction to Sonal and her fiance. The fact that Sonal is her best friend also means that some Sonal's attitude must have rubbed off on her too. Whether she is all for it or not doesnt matter, the point is that she has been around bindaas Sonal for a long time and therefore sex is not a taboo subject for her.

Now we know why the CVs have Sonal around.

I have mentioned elsewhere that if she got so angry about the slaps by the police, then where is that anger now?

Now Nehal is something else altogether, exact antithesis to Mehak. Now she is going to get into trouble and Mehak will need Shaurya to help her out.
