Now anyone can tell that I, as do more than a few of us😉, have quite the tendre for our khadoos hero. No matter how dastardly our Shaurya acts, he is so suave in his methods that I find myself more often caught up in how stylish, not to mention incredibly gorgeous the man is, as he goes about almost cruelly sparring with our lovely Mehek. I guess because we were able to see Mehek rising to the challange every time, I have overlooked any of Shaurya's acts that are a bit much. Besides the glimpses of his goodness imo makes up for most things.
Actually I've caught myself more than once utter how cruel he is, but everytime it is usually with a smile as in my head I am already fast forwarding things and comforting myself with the idea that when Shaurya finally falls for Mehek he is going to fall so hard...and that is going to be amazing to watch. Will he rue how he has treated her, for sure and I for one cannot wait. And so, I admittedly have overlooked and excused his actions for the most part...until the end of yesterdays epi when he grabbed Mehek after she dismissed him and looked to depart...

I so did not like him manhandling her at all and I felt my stomach drop at that scene. Yes, she had pushed his buttons and I probably could have handled him just holding her arm to prevent Mehek's leaving, but the act of gripping her and physically repositioning Mehek so that she is hemmed in by him was one step over the line for me. I think Mehek's shocked expression mirrored my own. It was the first time any of our hero's actions have unsettled me...and I had to wonder if I am alone in this?

Sorry for the rambling post😊

I've been bothered by Mehak's lack of response to his body shaming. she acts it's normal to be insulted by random guys over her appearance.

Mehak raising above the challenges is not the right response to S's torture, skillfully delivered with charm.

Shauray's act in the precap is quite the norm in desi-soap love stories, where abuse by men are shown as their passion. It's so over used it has lost it's shock value to me.

I was happy when Mehak, in a reversal of roles, pinned Shauray to the wall in the apartment while trying to grab her phone.😆

I hope Mehak objects to his manhandling.

Am glad atleast she wasn't shown having asthmatic attacks to his physical proximity.

Hi...Kelly...!

Though...in real world, I solidly condemn this manhandling behavior towards a woman...In reel world, I shan't judge Shaurya too severely...! Being a hardcore viewer and reader of intense love/hate fictions..I do enjoy such scenes...! These brutal actions of the man and painful reactions of the woman...spice up and add intensity to these scenes...! We must not forget..for a change, Mehek did same to Shaurya during the phone fight...and we got such a lovely ahem...ahem...scene...! 😉

Be prepared...much more stormy and bold scenes are waiting for us just around the corner...! Kanta chachi targeted the whole non-veg rich community and their way of living/eating...and not Shaurya particularly/personally...! To get back at her...Shaurya schemed and made her eat her own words by making her cook an animal...and proved her wrong in front of the camera and whole Delhi people in a very tactful and diplomatic way...!

Imagine what Shaurya will plan for Mehek...! The girl who targeted, hit and hurt him...the Shaurya Khanna himself and not the rich people in general...! Unknowingly...she hit him where it hurts the most...a past which is haunting him, his background etc,..etc...! I'm very worried for Mehek...! Shaurya will go to any extremity to make Mehek pays and eats her words...! He did pick up one of the pamphlet and his facial expression was not good to see...! May be, he'll go to Mehek's home, secretly enter her bedroom, create such a situation and make all the people present there believe that Mehek's is having an affair with him..! Thus..he'll besmirch and blacken Mehek character and upbringing...just like she did the day before...!😊

P.S. No offence to anyone...! This is my pov...! Ok guys...it's already past my bedtime...! See you...! ⭐️

Hi guys, I totally agree with everyone's views that he should not be manhandling her. And why only her? Are all the other contestants from an affluent background? His constant taunts to her regarding bxxxy middle class is not acceptable and specially when she is in the public on a reality show. I feel Mahek is unnecessarily victimised by him and for no apparent reason than that she doesn't find him 'hot and dashing' but on the other hand, he too has been saying cruel things about her appearance whenever he gets a slot in their convo...he is not wooing her in the right manner and things can only get worse if he continues to abuse her and her family. I am surprised that Rajeev being a close aide will not say anything or stand up for her more aggressively. I wish Rajeev was a young dashing character and there would haven competition between the two judges to compete for her!
That's only my opinion and I hope today he doesn't go and defame Mahek and her family as this will close the door on his face for good! A girl's respect, once lost, takes time to return...

Manhandling Mehek was not meant for abuse, it was meant to catch her attention after all she was ignoring him, firstly but inviting the other chef and secondly, she didn't want to have anything to do with him. Remember, she was still smartening from his refusal to accept her apologies for her aunt's discrimination
.
Shaurya has issues, he is an angry aggressive man. However, I have not witnessed any violence in him. His words are as far as he would get, his actions depicts another story. He is also a bit of an attention seeker, he does enjoy the ladies gushing after him and is accustomed to it... remember he is 'hawwt and dashing'.

Another thing to note, it was Mehek who practically 'knocking his breath off' as she slammed into him when he was changing his clothes and it was Mehek who spun him around and corner him for her phone at the apartments.

Remember, their verbal battle is about to start, so she will counteract that manhandling with words that will hurt and we all know the 'spoken word' causes more damage than any 'push or pull '.

Loving the variety of views being discussed, I find it amazing the different triggers that everyone has.

For instance the body shaming aspect that was mentioned was truly never was a factor for me, and yet what has me unsettled others may see as less offensive.

However, I do have to question the commonality of many of us accepting ( and even appreciating) Mehek doing the very same to Shaurya in the cellphone scene: double standards anyone😆

To cite Perfumeheaven:
Remember, their verbal battle is about to start, so she will counteract that manhandling with words that will hurt and we all know the 'spoken word' causes more damage than any 'push or pull '.

This is so true, and a saving grace for me a least. As per another thread, in which to poster believed that Mehek's alluding to Shaurya being adopted was cruel, well I say she is absolutey justified in going there after Shaurya's boorish behavior. I can't wait to witness this : different strokes for different folks as they say.

Anyway lets keep the comments coming, like I said it's so interesting to see everyone's POV.

Kelly

Completely agree dear

I didnt liked the way he grabbed her hand and pulled her so that she could be almost against thr car ... But for cvs this is cool... As if first guy sbuses tgan falls for the girl... And neither i lije shaurya insulting mehek or middle class people or even hrr body ...

But hope they dont repeat it and dont show at least ... Phisical manhandling anymore
