What to say...? I don't have enough words to express my feelings after reading this second update...! This is no less than a chef d'oeuvre...! This is a piece of fine lyrical art...!👏

Thro' the artist @ Chef Kunal POV...you have perfectly sketched, drawn, outlined the essential features and painted the portrait of Shaurya Khanna...! Though...the final details of the painting is yet to be completed..we do have a slight portrayal of Shaurya characteristic...!

For Chef Kunal...in the beginning, Shaurya was like a rough Diamond...strict, cold, hard...! But..after polishing the uncut diamond a little bit...he realizes that Shaurya does have, shining and soft qualities beneath a rough exterior (@ seeing Shaurya with his mother)...! Even in his raw state...Shaurya has that hidden exceptional characteristic and potential that make him truly stand out of the crowd. He does leave a little sparkle wherever he goes...!

Every soul is a diamond...! It takes a trained eye like Chef Kunal, to see and appreciate its value...! Kunal understood that Shaurya has been through hell...and made his own conclusion when he witnessed his interaction and equation with his fans/customers..."the person experiencing the most pain tends to be the one's...who're always trying to make other's smile"...!

Just like God changes caterpillars into butterflies...sand into pearls...Chef Kunal is optimistic and confident that him "the coal" using time and pressure...he'll definitely change into "a diamond" like his role model the great Shaurya Khanna...! ⭐️

P.S: Thank you Kash...! Enjoyed reading this chapter...! Waiting for the next update...(will Dhabewali meet the perfectionist ?)...! Love you...! 🤗

Thank you so much Kelly. The fact that Shaurya left at such a crucial point to chase down who he thought was Mehek had been eating away at me. And I thought to play with that using Kunal as a device but somehow he took on a life of his own. I wasn't very happy about that but hey, you win some, you lose some! Which is why it makes me really happy to know that it actually worked out fine.

Don't apologise at all! I am notorious when it comes to commenting. I have yet to unres on your dance fic which btw haunted me and forced me to pen the next OS in this series. So part of the blame/credit goes to you! 😆

Waida, my darling! How I've missed you. RL has been keeping me away from the forum but whenever I'm here, I'm always on the lookout for your comments. You define this forum for me. 🤗

You know this OS went out of hand for me. Kunal started to take a life of his own so I had to constantly steer the direction back to Shaurya - thus the public, private and secret life angle. I'm definitely going to be exploring it further. So for the sake of the fic, I just decided to use the 'coal' to highlight the 'diamond' but I don't know if Kunal has what it takes to be Shaurya. But then again, we've only seen him in two scenes so far - who knows, one day Mehek might end up working with him and we might see more of him then!

Shaurya's past has defined his present and will play a big role in forming his future - especially if it involves Mehek's parents. I, for one, can't wait for the mystery to finally be revealed.
