Mehek has always fascinated me. Initially I wanted to just write her off as a typical bechari lead but she's got a flicker of a fight somewhere in her that caught my attention. Also, her mother's influence in and on her life is a huge driving factor of her personality. Thus this OS.

Also which shot exactly? We've had so many lately! 😳

What a poignant and emotional beginning...! I feel for Mehek...! Losing her mother at such a young age...! 😭

In a child's eyes...a mother is a goddess...! The lost of a mother is something which cannot ever be compensated...! A mother can take the place of all the others...but, whose place no one can take...! The pain of loss can create a void that we attempt to fill with many things...!

Positive people who love Mehek...like her protective Chacha and her bubbly/cheerful buddy Sonal can only help in filing some of the emptiness in her life and brighten it a little..! Mehek ..without acknowledgement, without any planning and intention molded herself...grew up and eventually, became the role model of her deceased mother...just to fill that void and feel close to the latter...! Sometimes, we do tend to believe...behind all our stories is our mothers stories, because hers are where ours begin...!

Though...deep down she knows that the void isn't completely filled...that something is still missing...she is content and satisfy...feeling safe and protected under the warm cocoon of her family home sweet home...!

Negative people like Ajay and his mother do nothing to help you experience the joy of living...and to fill that void...they're only good to open the wound even more...! Hopefully, this same negativity did a periodic check on Mehek...and became a positive reinforcement and encouragement to make her understand that beyond her "mohalla"...there is a beautiful world...! Ajay rejection acted as the eternal metamorphosis...who will transform the caterpillar into a butterfly...!

Unfortunately...a hurricane which is still a disturbance form in the atmosphere...is yet to hit the earth @ Mehek's world and create havoc in her peaceful life...! The hurricane will try its best to break the butterfly (Mehek) wings...even before she tries to fly...!

But...life constantly require us to move and face our fears in order to thrive...! Likewise...in order to fill the void that her mother loss has created...Mehek will choose to take one step each day toward feeling alive again...! She will do it...knowing how hard it'll be at first...!

P.S: Thank you Kash...! This story is awesome and I liked it very much...! Waiting for the next part...and how it'll will unfold...! ⭐️

Thank you sooo much Waida for this lovely, long comment. You summerised everything I wanted to say, and perhaps some things that I didn't even realise about her.

The only point I disagree about is that it wasn't Ajay's rejection that led to her metamorphosis. It was her family's insistence that lead her on a collision course headed towards Shaurya. And it is him, alone, that's going to bring about that change in her. Open her life up to a world of challenges and changes.

I'm a little distracted atm, so apologies for not leaving a more detailed comment. Hopefully, next time!
