We r shown d edited version. Rape scene was 5 mins in original version n we were shown 2 mins. I did see the last 8 minutes of 1st epi in original version.

As I replied in PM if FG was an Indian show them there wid be no Keen but Erdogan wid have been d lead n FG wid have been tortured by his family including Meltem who was have been d vamp creating problems for FG n after lots of torturing FG, Erdo wid have been changed due to FG' s love for him n his family.

Same here...it's so hard to digest that Kerim could just sit there and watch FG getting raped ...or maybe he got unconscious for some time and returned to his conscious state after a few minutes...don't know what to make out ?? The makers didn't show what the hell he was doing when FG was getting raped or where he was ?

He suddenly appears after it's over 😲

So since you have seen the original can you tell us if they show anything about Kerim when the rape was going on ? I mean, was he just sitting there and watching ?

No I have not seen d original version. I only checked d rape scene as some people here said dat d scene was edited n more things happen than wat we saw. D video wid subtitles is missing but there r some videos of 1st epi widout subtitles. U can type fatmagul on You tube n see d last 10 mins of 1st epi. But check only those videos which r of 1hour 40 seconds.

While those kameena were tackling FG on d ground n pinning her down, Kerim was laughing looking at them. But he was not shown while she was getting raped. After they were done raping her, Kerim dat beside her n has guilty expressions on his face. As u said above, Kerim may have passed out for a little time n wen he regained consciousness d trio were done raping her.

Even in India, people love only abusive guys n think good guys as boring. Lets do a little experiment. Make FG remake in India, cast a popular actor as Musti while cast a not so popular actor as Kerim n then see d reaction of d people.

This show isn't just about FGs journey. It's as much about kerims journey too. If you see kerim constantly laments the fact that he is never able to save her when she is in trouble, be it that night or when erdo vural attack them or when erdo attacks her or when musti attacked her in ildir...*spoilers* till that changes and he saves her.

I think we as an audience are too used to expecting perfect heroes who always find the courage/ morals to fight the wrong guys and save the girl. But how many such heroes truly exist? Almost everyone will turn a blind eye or side with the person they know (like meltem did), otherwise we would have more people stepping forward to stop criminals or identify them. Instead most will just shrug n walk away thinking not my problem, or thank god it wasnt me or someone i know. So here kerim not stopping them, saving them, etc does make sense. He is a regular guy, not a hero. Hence he lacks the courage to do what is right and does what is easy...watch and silently condemn and judge. He takes up the role of a hero when he lodges that complaint.

Conscious is a strong word. He was hazy ...due to drugs. Subconscious may be better.

Having watched the orginial episode, the creatives never show Kerim, cuz the close up of Erdo, Selum, Vural...stripping her, pouring alcohol n finally realeasing into her us shown very vividly.

Its left to viwer's imagination what Kerim was doing. Each one finish their job...and rush to cool off for a swim. Only when Vural shouts out for Kerim...the camera pans on him.
