Kerim's scenes today reminded me of two very amazing dialogues from two shows, Firstly Derek Shepherds "Its like I was drowning and you were like coming up for fresh air" and secondly, Princess Eleanor's "Unworthy and Unloved, Unworthy of being Loved" speech. The one thing I've always loved about Kerim is that he is a very real character, there's nothing too filmy about it. He is flawed no doubt but thats what makes him so real and relatable. I feel at some point of time everybody needs somebody to get you through your problems, he's like a drowning man who needs something to hold on to. An ounce of love a feeling of belonging-ness. He just needs a reminder that he is loved. Meriyam's love for Kerim is so pure, he shouldn't doubt it based on that letter. He is miserable, frustrated, lonely, loveless. He needs to be reminded that he has a home where he belongs. He's not a crappy person, he's just been through a lot of crap.

That being said, I in no way defend what he did. If he can't handle drinking too much he shouldn't go bar hopping all over Istanbul. Him trying to fetch a kiss from an already terrorized person made my blood boil. No matter how bad or miserable he is right he had no right to do that. Also the Turkish daaru and the ambiance of that place, I thought any moment a belly dancer would pop up 🤣. I totally agree with FG drinking aint a solution to anything, all it does is damage your liver. More kharacha for already broke Ilgaz family 😆. Stop drinking Dude! 😡

The one good thing about drunk Kerim is that it brings out those cute coffee containers we love 😆😳

That last dialogue "Main bhi tumhare sath sab karna chahta hun" 🤢🤢. I'm soo glad that was a mis-translation from Zindagi coz for a man to say that his wife. Yuckkk.

I don't have the time or energy to write on Sr Ilgaz+Enise.

Mustafa is a like a bura saaya, he'll never be at peace. And what was that him acting like a voice analyst and pata lagoing FGs tabyat from the sound of her voice. Donkey kahin ka 🤢🤢. Just die already!!

Dr SexyLegs has super brains One look at our Dawg and she figured him all out. Finally a woman (Non FG Meriyam 😆) with brains intact. Thank you God ji!! Prasad chadao koi 🤣 🤣. Erdogan's "Hamari Shadi Hogi" 😆 I was like "Yeah right!! Jail Mein Hogi?" 🤣

I'm so sure he has already thought about the names of his future kids too 😆😆

Meltem supporting FG, I'm just glad FGs getting that case together. Meltem signed a document before her divorce that she wont testify in court. What happened to it? Maybe she doesn't have anything to lose left now.

Rehmi needs to stop spending so much time with MQ, he's become really mouthy lately. And MQ always peeking out some window, door, keyhole. She's everywhere. There's no escaping her 😡😡

Meriyam's conditon melts my heart all the time and with Kadir gone, she's all alone.

Yasran house is on fire, quite literally😆. With Kerim going crazy I'm glad we have these jokers for our entertainment. These idiots amuse me, the way they have a tod for every thing and the way their ship sinks everytime is really funny. Now we know how Munir lost his Hair 🤣🤣

Kaan is good actor...comedy, villiany or empathy...he can emote well.

Yeah Rohail pined for that useless Zaibu. All drunk scenes were killer.
This situation of destroying in love was seen in asher...soon after fiasco...smoking &lifeless.
Again...in chorus...any strand of dna match do they have??
And we got the wife aspect...bang on*group study helps*
And dont be upset on Zaroon bashing. Dummy will evangelize(hopefully)

Hello guys. I've been reading this thread for quite a while now. But only as a silent reader. Today I finally decided to break my silence and to join India Forums as a new member :)

Maybe I should start introducing my person, so that you guys know, with whom you will deal with in the future.

My name is Ayda and I'm from Turkey. I'm a huge Bollywood fan and also a huge fan of Indian serials. This interest finally leads me here, where I found out that turkish serials are also watched in India nowadays. That was quite suprising for me because I don't know that turkish serials are also shown in India now.

Fatmagul'un Sucu Ne (Or Fatmagul as it is called in India) is one of my most favourite turkish serials ever. That's the reason, why I started reading all these threads regarding to Fatmagul. I just wanted to know, how people from India would react to turkish shows and what they would think about them. I really love, how you guys are so passionate about the series and the actors. Although I know everything about Fatmagul I still find it interessting to read your analysis about events and characters in the story. It's just like I am watching the show again through reading your long analysis :)

My favourite actors from Turkey are Engin Akyurek and Ilker Kaleli. You guys should definitely also watch Ilker. He is a great actor. Zindagi Channel should think about "Poyraz Karayel" as a new turkish serial. Ilker Kaleli is playing the main role "Poyraz" in the show.

Regaring to Engin, I can only say that you guys are totally right loving him. He is one of the most versatile actors in Turkey. His outward apperance, his acting skills and most importantly his character as a person makes him very special. He really is one if the actors, who has not changed over the years through his fame. He definitely is one in a million :)

Regarding to the turkish actresses, I love Asli Enver the most. She is a very good actress and has a natural beauty. You guys should watch her in the serial "Suskunlar", or "Kayip". Those serials are brilliant and Asli is superb in them.

From Bollywood I mostly love Fawad Khan and Shahrukh Khan. I've discovered the world of Bollywood through SRK, so my love for him is obvious.

But my new love in Bollywood definitely is Fawad Khan. He is such a brilliant actor. I loved his performance in Kapoor and Sons. He was the best part in the whole film. He reminds me of Engin Akyurek. Both are good looking, brilliant actors and smart people :)

So I've found it quite funny, that so many people in this thread also have seen similarites between both actors.

Regarding to actresses I like Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and from the elder generation Kajol and Rani Mukherjee. :)

Beni affet - Forgive me

Hello aydafawad.. its nice to have you here :)

I would like to know more about Turkish cuisine.. the food shown in fatmagul looks interesting...
It will be exciting to know the real names of all the food items as translation has been different there to suit Indian Audience..

I m a foodie and have been to Istanbul once just for 3 hrs though..some dukan people at the airport recognized that we were Indians.. they started speaking Hindi words nd me nd my friends were baffled.. 😆.. it was a nice experience though.. Istanbul looked beautiful from the plane! But I have a doubt being an coastal city, is it so cold in winters that Kerim/ Engin nd all actors have to wear 3-4 layers of clothes ??
