Kerim seems to be in Angry Young Man mode ever since the letter from his father arrived. Though it obviously benefits no one, least of all Fatma, for him to be perpetually hot-headed, it does do favours to my greedy eyes. 😳 That aggressive avatar is sexy!

"Ketinci nahi Ilgaz"; "Woh meri biwi hai, suna na?" O-ho, possessive?😉

Imagine if the dubbing artists had taken liberties by inserting this conversation between Kerim and Mustafa on the phone--

Kerim: Aaj mere paas Fatmagul hai, Meryem Ma hai, apna restaurant hai...tumhare paas kya hai?

Mustafa: Mere paas Yasarans hai!

Muqaddas astonished me by rising to the occasion--while Kerim, FG, Meryem etc had all lost their heads, she actually did NOT rant ,"Maine toh pehle hi kaha tha yeh nahi chalne wala...aur kholo restaurant...tum logon se kuch nahi hone wala", but instead busied herself in serving guests! 😲

Hands-up, all those who enjoyed seeing the catfight between Muqaddas and the gossipy lady! She enjoyed it too...something right up her alley!😆

Emre is a real friend, always bailing the Ilgaz-Ketinci family out of difficult moments. Oh Asu, you would have been happy with him. Then again, Mrs. Berhan would have turned all Halide over accepting "aisi ladki" for her beta.🤔

Btw, Paneer ke Pakode and Lassi in a Turkish restaurant? No wonder Kerim is going all Sunny Praaji these days!😆

Erdogan is slowly losing his mind, and Meltem is doing her best to make Salem lose his.

"Accidentally" dropping the photos of rape victims was Qadirbhai's psychological ploy to arouse Vural's conscience. From his face, it seemed it worked.

Gul Mutfagi in its picturesque environs and soothing background music, seems like a beautiful dream, enough to make you forget the harsh reality of the court case looming up. To top it all, FG's shy smiles and Kerim's uncontainable happiness made these the moments of the day.❤️

Seems like Mukaddes is going to get trapped in Munir's and Salih's bait once again... Why does she still trust that jerk? Being betrayed twice by the same person wasn't enough for her to learn a lesson? 🤔 Her never ending desperation for money and physical needs is gonna make her pay big time! 😡

On the other note, the way Kerim screamed at his father on phone, Mukaddes fears that she won't get to know more about Mr. Ilgaz's assets so soon! 🤣

Okay I honestly didn't understand Meltem's persuasion to Mustafa. I guess before visiting him, she knew how Yasarans were trying to get him on their side by lavishing briefcases of money and expensive stuffs on him... 🤔 Yet it was understandable if she wanted to meet him in person and confront him, but after talking to him she must have realized that he won't change his decision... Then why she wasted her time and energy on that jerk? 😡 And ewww... Did I just see some intense sparks between them? 🤬

On the other hand we have Mustafa, who, instead of being ashamed, seems to enjoy exercising control on women... Whether it was Fatmagul or Aasu, and now, Meltem too. 🤬 And what does he mean by saying that he's waiting for the right time? :O Now what is this jerk waiting for when he already got so many chances to redeem himself? :/ And how dare he blame Meltem that she was desperate to marry Selim even after knowing everything? Mr. D just can't cover up his own faults that way. 😵

Erdogan... Like I mentioned yesterday, his brain is working in totally opposite way, and he's become dangerous to such an extent that he ended up venting out his frustration on Selim, the scared little toddler. 😆 But on a funnier note, I don't even blame him as he's already too irritated because of the treatment he's receiving from the inmates and on top of that Selim's "Meltem" rant doesn't stop at all... Ab koi maarega nahi toh aur kya karega? 🤣 (Or like Dummy and I are worried, like Selim has Meltem, Erdogan has no girl to be upset for... and hence he vented out his frustration that way! :P) 😆

Meltem shows her interest in meeting Selim, which makes Munir think that she still trusts the Yasarans... But alas, Mamaji is soon to be let down when he learns the reason behind Meltem's decision. Good for her, but a few moments of closeness with Mustafa and she assumes "Meri zindagi mein koi aur aa chuka hai."? :O 😳 Though that's not the reason why she wants divorce, but the way she said that was quite amusing and Selim's reaction was even more amusing! 😆 Agreed with @Poweritz, she couldn't have a bad timing to meet Selim!

I can't believe that Ender and Turaner are still blaming Meltem for everything... Remember the scene after Meltem's wedding where she cried and hugged Turaner and he was quite strict to Selim about keeping his daughter happy? I thought he would understand her pain but here all he seems to care about is his political career, no matter what his daughter is going through! 👎🏼

Perihan is too worried for Selim's condition to even think about a rape victim or sympathize with her. That's justified on her part because she is a mother and a mother is bound to feel sorry to see her son in such a horrible condition, but what about her conscience when she used to scold Selim for the dreadful crime he has committed? 🤔 What about the times when she used to weep silently and think about what Fatmagul must be going through?

Risat is equally dismayed because of Turaner's decision, and he's upset to such an extent that now even he wants Selim to rot in jail forever... All those distribution of money as a "charity" is not giving him enough feeling of security or what? 😆 And the way he said "Unn teeno ki aankhon mein saaf nazar aata hai ki unn teeno ne hi wo gunah kiya hai!" Like what, till now he thought that they hadn't raped a girl? 😳

Fatmagul finally gets her restaurant opened! 🥳 The second half of the episode was a pleasure to watch because of that cheerful smile on her face and her hopeful eyes twinkling with happiness. ❤️ This was one of the rarest moments after the incident that she was so lively and jovial... And she should be, since she owns a restaurant now! 😳 Her interaction with Kerim was really in good spirits and the way she mentioned how she feels that happy days are soon gonna find a way in her life was really positive of her... 👍🏼 Meryem was certainly right, there's a visible difference in her personality all over ever since she started going to the doctor. And I like this difference very much. 😳

Not to forget Kerim, who too was equally happy and kept aside his tension related to his father. 😳 While the rich like Selim and Risat bestow expensive gifts on their wives, we have our adorable Kerim who impresses women with simple gifts like comfortable clothes and flowers... ❤️ Man, I wish I get a husband like him. I don't need those show-offs; I just need those gifts which makes me feel special. ❤️

His way of saying sorry to Meryem with those white flowers was so sweet... 😳 <3 Well, I don't call him a sweetheart without any reason... My Kerim And his "Ketenci nahi Ilgaz!" was damn cute! <3 ❤️

But that happiness too was short-lived because of the red flowers which supposedly came from Mustafa to Fatmagul. But after Kerim spoke to him, it doesn't look like Mustafa was the one who sent those flowers... 🤔 This definitely has something to do with Yasarans I guess!

Also, the way Fatmagul shared her thoughts to the doctor was satisfactory... I kind of agreed with whatever she said. Having trust in a relationship is really important, even more than having love. Only if Kerim could know about her concern regarding his annoyance at his father... :(

Kadir is much more sensible and cleverer than I thought him to be! 👍🏼 I mean the way he talked to Vural and tried to take him in confidence with his polite yet impactful words was just commendable. 👏 👏 And if that was not enough, he "accidently" dropped some photos of random rape victims from his file which was not pretty much "accidental". 😉 Dunno about others but I felt that he dropped those photos intentionally just to bring out the hidden human in Vural... Way to go Mr. Kadir!

Yeah Vural gave false statement in front of the prosecutor, but the way he looked up at Kadir when he mentioned how Fatmagul has started trusting him and then those teary eyes he had after going through the photos of rape victims made me think about his conscience once again. 🤔 Of course I couldn't sympathize with him when he lied but the truth is that he is a coward, who has been pressurized by Risat's words so much that he seems to be going according to the Yasarans, no matter how much he feels guilty... I felt this strongly at the way he dismissed Kadir from there! 😔

Leman looked like the little female version of Risat Yasaran after how she screamed at Kadir about filing a case on him! 😆 And I loved how Kadir didn't pay any heed to her words and ignored her coolly! 😎

Has Aasu invited trouble for herself after accepting Munir's offer? 🤔 Ever since she indulged in this case, she hasn't lived even a single moment peacefully... Today after Munir threatened her, I doubt that while she accepted Yasaran's money to spend the rest of her life with comfort, will she really be able to do so?

As stupid and disgusting the Meltem-Musti affair may be (disgusting because it is demeaning for HER to be involved with such a vermin), it is an act of CONSENT between two people, not at all comparable to FORCING oneself on a hapless girl!

And btw, Selim's 'gunaah' is as bad because by the same logic, when he committed the rape he was an engaged man and therefore 'cheated on Meltem' with FG. 🤔

@NavyaKavya... Yes, Rehmi's always overdoing his "love" for Mukaddes, a feeling that he doesn't mind even Fatmagul suffering of her actions! Looks more like arrangement than love to me...

@blyton... Wonderful observation regarding what Muqaddas did not do at the restaurant ruckus! Terrific observation! Also, Emre never gives up on helping the Ilgaz-Ketencis, despite all the drama!

@whiterose... E was Eveready to burst out anytime, and it didn't even matter who the target was! Also Ender changing sides after supporting Meltem initially... And Hacer, going by Munir's vice-like grip, doesn't look like getting to breathe easy!

Hello Friends,

Thank you all for ur wonderful post n analysis...I love reading all ur view points and character analysis.
I m crazy about this show.. For the last one month i dont remember how many times i ve watched this show..It seems i cant get enough of it...it has become like addiction :D
Usually I m silent reader but few posts here about Kerim not forgiving his father expecting same from Fatmagul made me share my two cents about the matter.
Whatever happended with FG was very cruel n considering Kerim's role in it one can understand FG doubts n anger towards Kerim for being contradictive.
But from Kerim's point of view, his father is not only the reason for his mother's death but he also abandoned him when he was only 6 years old n for years(for almost a decade i believe) he didnt come to take him back with him nor wrote to him n then suddenly he started sending him letter. when his father left him he was kid n by the time his father wanted to contact him he must be around 18- 20 years old. n what he did to connect with his son... just sending letter wont heal him. he should have atleast come to meet him. Time is also crucial in forgiving anybody... saying sorry after so many years wont give him back his parentless childhood. He never even got an opportunity to complain or share/ unload his anger on his father. So, Kerim being angry with his father,i think is justifibale.
wheresas in Fatmagul's case, Kerim was there for her. helping her...asking for forgiveness...trying in every possible way to make her life easy...i m not ignoring his role in FG's incident...but we all saw his efforts for redemption.
Both FG n Kerim are in a way similar...
I hate Mustafa.. he is really characterless ass****. he is not worthy of anything... But see FG too could not forgive Mustafa when he came to her house asking forgiveness after he learned truth from Kerim. coz that time was passed. As I said earlier Time is very crucial if u not take efforts at right time then its of no use...
So at this point of their life I can understand why Kerim is being angry n resentful towards his father...(Spoiler Alerts: In future we will see how he not only forgive his father but also accept him as his Baba)

I agree with you, Selim's crime does not excuse Meltem's stupidity. The difference here is between a crime, which is what rape is/ should be considered in any civilized society, and adultery, which is considered wrong and even a sin by some, but not a criminal offence by itself.

Even if we ignore the legal aspect, consent IS a very strong line of difference here. Let's assume Mustafa had succeeded in having his way with FG before marriage by seducing (not raping her), would it be the same as those three raping FG? Obviously not, because it would have been with FG's consent.

Moreover, was there any sanctity left in the marriage to stop Meltem from adultery? It was Selim who lusted for another girl the very night of their engagement, who lost his ring at the crime scene, who lied right up till the marriage and even afterwards when Meltem had sniffed the truth.

I still feel disgusted that she chose this method of revenge, and that too with Mustafa of all people. But I can't bring myself to equate the two acts. What Selim did was far more heinous and inexcusable.

I watched last nights epi in parts coz of the Emmys so here goes my analysis 😆
Mustafa holding Meltems hands up while getting close to her reminded me of the 50 shades of grey elevator scene. ...Mustafa has his own version 50 Shdes Of Douche going on here 😆😆. He should have his own movie Kiss Kisse Pyaar Karun😆. Meltem is equally at fault here though, she could've slapped him...but she dint. That very scene where he was continuously touching her lips made me sooo sick...I wanted to puke so bad 😡🤢

Kadir is one awesome lawyer...I luvd how he tried to change Vurals mind with those pictures.

Kerim going all dhaii kilo ka hath on Mustafa was hilarious. I personally like the sensible mature version of him rather than this possessive one. Like the scene where he brought her flowers was so cute.

The happiness on FGs face on seeing her name on the restaurant was soo genuine and honest. I luvd that moment.

I agree with u guys about Rehmi, his over protectiveness for Mukaddas is gettin on my nerves. Hitting Salih was quite unnecessary if you ask me...esp when the matter was over now. Yes he did hit her but Mukaddas was at fault too.

Erdogan hitting Selim shows what a toll this jail visit has taken on him. Hes losing his mind.

Thats all I saw yesterday so...will have to watch the repeats on Sunday.
