Enjoyed the latest episode which had a sprinkling of every character except perhaps Vural. Izmir 2.0 will be upon us soon and it will have the bearing of the last few episodes upon it.
1
The recent episodes invariably starts from the prison plight of E&S, who are getting twitchier by the day... The new cell has been better to them and that's so unfair. How wonderful it would be for them to get back to earlier inmates and get both psychologically and physically crushed. Selim, well, he's got a better taste of reality (he's given up all hopes!) unlike the devilish Erdogan who's already counting days to release! And how Erdogan intimidates fellow inmates, at least he alone deserves the grind of previous cell... Love his false overconfidence when he contemplates revenge on Kerim-Fatmagul. His mindset to not accept things will only hit him harder, and that's sooo desirable to watch!
2
The Kerim-Fatmagul combination is hurting Christine really bad and it's worse to see her losing every bit of sense to dream of getting Kerim back. Her trap of getting Kerim to her hotel has been foolishly overdone and he's amused and even irked at her insistence to meet him privately. Her desperation hasn't escaped Fatmagul's sharp notice, even though the latter keeps her best from getting into it. Christine's got to move on and quickly, else she may be getting too uncomfortable for her own sanity.
3
Meryem cautioning an already alert Kerim was redundant, Kerim himself is all judgemental about his conduct with Christine, and observant of his acts from Fatmagul's perspective. One one hand, here is Meryem keeping a check on the benign Kerim whereas on the other hand, Perihan and ladies are working their rapist sons evade the jail sentence. Couldn't have been more ironical indeed!
4
Kerim's getting edgy on Christine's demands and atoning it by assuring Fatmagul on that regard says how much he treasures this budding recovery. His concept of her haqq and his farz were very crystal-clear and perfect. He wants Fatmagul to hold him accountable and answerable to his actions, and that's a signature of deep love. He knows that he's yet to make himself more understandable to Fatmagul and that he's indeed watchful of his conduct and hard on his aberrations.

Muqaddas can go take a CA course and write exam about detailing cash, bank and asset accounts of people. Wondering if she will even let her son Murad marry when he's grown up and earning. Her lust for money can outdo any psychotic craze ever. And she has the wits to question Perihan trying to buy her?! If Perihan isn't right about Mukaddes then nothing else is right about anything at all... How illogical it was of Muqaddas feeling relief when she learns that Kerim received his payment! That's hard to justify in any case...
Love the way Kerim subtly deflects Mukaddes whenever she's poking at Fatmagul. Wouldn't it have beautiful and wise of Rehmi of let the devil walk out, when she herself had done the needful? He's holding onto her only for Murad I feel...
6
Hate to see that evil Risat smiling, makes me go greener than Erdogan in his fullest fury! But as much as he can stuff himself with false assurances, harder will be his eventual fall! And doesn't that make Fg's victory all the more sweet?!
Idiot talks of phone calls! And doesn't he know Perihan had called Mukaddes?! And Vural messaging and calling Kerim? Talk of one-sided vision...
7
Munir the desperate! How he was literally barging onto Asu to buy her opinion... Show him the nastiest thing and he will do it for Yasran's benefit. And Risat using him to the fullest extent just like he had used his own brother Rifat. When Munir's found doing something wrong (Erdogan+Vural against Munir), Risat was the first one to abandon Munir and ask him to get lost... And yet he knows Munir's weaknesses and uses him well. Serves Munir right!
8
Asu had no business in this case, yet gets sold in the nick of time. Perhaps she's already seeing her own path and rejecting Mustafa the moment Munir hands her the bag of cash, which slightly implies that she chose Mustafa for her comfort. A woman who knows the darker side of men and life shouldn't have gone against Fg, but she's vulnerable to the lure of money indeed. And that makes Halidey's trying to buy her out sensible. (alright that's a bad joke!)
Immoral of Asu to say the least. She should have been the least one among others to go against Fatmagul... Yes, Munir does well to stoke her insecurities, but she could have so easily kept herself out of it. And how Risat-Munir relish at baiting her opinion!

Mustafa's dad taking him to task was very refreshing. Someone had to ask Mustafa all these hard questions and it wasn't surprising to find him argue with them. This man can hurt anyone, now that he's well off to be able to turn up against them. Thankless creature keeps proving it, over and over. Asu does well to reject him and his ego's hurting yet again.
Halidey can't be crying now, she will cook up other reasons to still defy Mustafa's true colors and keep faith in her beloved son. If it's anything other than this, she will have surprised many viewers.
10
Kerim-Fatmagul's time together was lovable like always. Her sense of despair at altering Kerim's plans shows how much she wants herself to be a perfect girl. Her anxiety of exams was very natural. And Kerim planning the day for her was very smart of him. He's having all the time in world for her.
Istanbul's gorgeous mosques and Kerim-Fatmagul going around them. Can anything be matched better than this...?
11
Meryem's shaken about the stormy gossip going around, and it wasn't good of Ms Behan to do that. Nothing gives her that right to roll the gossip mills, when all they are her tenants. Hope Meryem will find a way to keep her original sales going.
12
Kaderbhai meeting Mustafa was a waste of time and efforts. I couldn't find any significance of him confronting Mustafa anyway... Not much scope for Meltem now, since she's decided to keep mum and helpless.
Eager to the upcoming episode, looks promising from the precaps.
