I agree with you. When in her village she was not safe and got raped then how come she ran away in a city where she is a stranger and she went to the person who is already in a dreadful profession. Its Asu's morality or conscience that she could return safely or else she would have fallen in the deadly trap. I don't find Mukaddas completely wrong. Its only that she speaks in crude way. If you recall, the night she got raped, Mukaddas ran after her to stop her from going out in the night but she just didn't look behind and ran away and met this unfortunate fate. I have never found Mukaddas' intentions wrong. She is only bitter mouth.

@MercuryVenus - Nooopsss What Fatmagul went through is something unimaginable, getting raped by four monsters (as per her). Her state of mind is not ok, she's being going through a lot. What she went through was not just physical torture but also mental torture. Even if her family people want to help her out, she may not understand it. For her to hear or speak about that fateful night is like a taboo.

Now with Kerim expressing his feelings for her and she kind of softening from within (by keeping that letter) and then Muqaddas revealing to all that FG kept the letter must have been very embarassing for her, above all Kerim too came to know about it.

Also FG has lived with Muqaddas for so many years and she has tolerated all her torture. May be now she must have reached her saturation period.. she couldnt take it any longer...

So with all this feeling pent up within her and constant nagging from her SIL she just wanted to go far from all. And yes she did not know that Aasu was in the flesh trade.

I found her reasons for running away ok as per her. Atleast she didnt run away with another man na 😉

Mukaddes is not completely a negative character, and I don't like her at all but at certain situations I did agree with her. It was Fatmagul's fault that she ran out of the house that night even after Mukaddes kept calling her. But then, always reminding her of that incident is not right at all. Why Mukaddes is wrong here because instead of keeping her mouth shut, she keeps reminding Fatmagul about whatever happened with her and this is not in anyway helpful to a rape-victim.

Now coming to why Fatmagul ran away, I dunno if I support her here or not, but she's not even wrong if you see things from her POV. She has said so many times that she feels like she's trapped in the house, she's being FORCED to portray herself as a happy woman even after being a gang-rape victim... But again, she decided to leave the house all of a sudden without even thinking for once. Fatma is not even completely right here because she didn't think what she would do in future if she doesn't want to go back. Going back means seeing Kerim's face everyday and bearing Mukaddes's non stop taunts... These are the things because of which she got frustrated. I don't support her every time but I think she made a quick and wrong decision of leaving.

And if you talk about her being rude towards Kerim, let's just remind ourselves here that he didn't rape her, but HE held her first and not only this, but also kept watching while his friends took turns to rape her. He is a nice person at heart who has fallen in love with Fatma, but it will take time and courage for her to forget that terrible incident and reciprocate Kerim's feelings.

It was a heart-breaking scene when Kerim silently wept on phone while Fatmagul blasted at him, because even Kerim is frustrated with the whole situation... He's worried about Fatmagul because he knows what troubles Yasarans can cause to her and to them... Basically, we can't say anyone person to be wrong here wholly.

Fatmagul is onviously not in a frame of mind to think rationally. Definitely she is having a nervous breakdown.
She probably connected with asu on a mental level as she thinjs asu is also fro a conservative family being forcefully marrued off to some guy she doesnt know and accept him so that thought probabaly conforted her that someone out there is living what she is living through and ran to asu.

She doesnt know asu is a hooker. In her mind she is going to a safe and trusted place. Its only when she finds out she will realize the gravity of her situation.

So from FG's pov what she did was to go to a safer place for her mental well being. Irrespective if what she feels for kerim she cant seperate him from the monster that night and doesnt want to accept the marriage with him.

I mean lets be realistic here. Kerim is a decent boy who gives her space and isnt clingy to her. He isnt forcing her to live a normal marriage nor forcing himself on her. Hes fulfilling the other husband duties like work earn and buy her necessities. In his mind she is his wife hence he got her gifts to fullfill the husbndy role. But he knows she doesnt accept him so also keeping a distance. He o ly danced with her after he thought she might give him a chance coz of the untorn letter. He was basically trying his luck and that drink did get to him to do such a silly thing (but we adored it).

Put any other guy in his place he would have had his way and beat the pulp out of fatma. Realistically rape marriages are violent and do creat runaways.

The writer just highlighted that point. A dance and her secret getting out was enough to make her run away.

Ana...I can feel her pain but when you are in distress the only soothing factor can be your family members support. I agree Mukaddas is curse for her and leave Kerim also, if she thinks he is one person responsible for her trauma but then her bro and Maryam is trying hard to bring her back from the terrible memories of that night. She is not responding to their noble intentions.
Next, she is mature enough to know that being alone on the streets of an alien city can bring disaster in one's life as she has experienced the disaster herself. That is why I didn't expect from her repeating the same mistake which she did while going to meet Mustafa in the middle of the night. That night even Mustafa told her not to come, but she didn't listen to anyone.
What Mukaddas says is not entirely wrong. She is a normal human being and that too not very polished. So tone and texture of her language is very crude and she is also annoyed because their lives have turned upside down because of the unfortunate incident. Think for a while if Asu wouldn't have shown her compassionate side, what would have happened. Whatever I said about her was only in the light of "If Asu's nature not being what it was shown".

I hope, I made sense 😆😆😆😆😆😆

I know FG is in a terrible state of mind. She wants to erase the memory of that night but is unable to do so because of Kerim's constant presence before her eyes and Mukaddas' taunts but running away mindlessly can never be a solution to her trauma. A rape victim cannot think rationally but at least she should be conscious enough not to bring the same disaster once again on her. It would have been saner if she had attempted suicide. FG acted impulsively and its not that she ran away because of Mukaddas' bitter barbs (She is aware and used to Mukaddas and her ways) but because of her own embarrassment of hiding Kerim's letter and lying to everyone. If this letter issue had not come up, she would have tolerated Mukaddas as she had been doing all along. Mindlessly deciding to run away could have landed her in deep trouble and instead of coming out of the trauma, she would have gone deeper into it. (How much did she know Asu and how could she trust her so blindly in an unfamiliar city?)
Going away to meet Mustafa in the middle of the night is still understandable because she would never have imagined to meet the fate she met that night, but running away this time after going through the worst tragedy of her life, literally didn't make any sense and that too just to fight her embarrassment and hide her face from Kerim.
Her reprimanding, rebuking and snubbing Kerim is though hurtful but absolutely acceptable.
No one can expect, she will forgive him overnight for the crime he has committed. He might not have raped her, but he was the first person to grab her and hand her over to those monsters.
He was high on drugs but why would FG consider this excuse. Kerim has to redeem himself and earn her trust and in the process should bear her rebuke. That is the least he can do to clear himself.

@Noopur,Mohhbbat girl, SaraFatma , Janhvi you guys have summed up the events and situation so well. The thing about this show is that I am not able to hate anyone, at least NOT as of now. Initially I hated , along with the rapists, Mustafa too but now when I see a devoted son in him, somehow I am not able to hate him. Erdown is the biggest kamina but there are times when his vulnerability comes on surface and the hatred for him takes a backseat somewhere. There was so much genunity when he was talking about his dad to Mustafa , though what he said later was , I think , his clever mind game with him...
Anyway, what I want to say is this is the first time in my life that I am watching something where no one appears to be so black that I feel disgust or hate towards them. Koi bhi nafrat kisi bhi character ke liye zayada der tik nahin paati hai. Strange !! 😳

Exactly Ritu...This is what I said, that you wont find any character bad enough to be hated. Not even the rapists because you can see they repent at times (including Erdogan and Selim. Vural ka toh neurological breakdown hi ho jaata hai) and they will repent occasionally till the end of the show...Its only that since they are rich and powerful people, they are trying to save their skin by hook or by crook, which is quite human. Who on this earth has ever been willingly prepared to face the consequences of their wrong doings? Everyone tries to find an escape route. Even Kerim did that or else he wouldn't have married FG. Kerim must have thought that by marrying her he might succeed in reducing some sense of guilt.
Now coming to Mukaddas, I never hated her. In fact I enjoyed her character even though she is crude, bitter and loud mouth. She adds fun value to this side of the family. You just imagine Kerim's side of the family sans Mukaddas, and you will find it utter boring family. She is adding spice to the family and to the show. She is just a prickly character, she is not deadly.
