Ok first, I am not criticizing Mikaal at all. He looks a million bucks in the show and playing a good samaritan + rich and handsome, with the kind of face and personality he is naturally blessed with, comes in handy for him😛 having said that, there is nothing extraordinary about the role of "Nabeel" IMO. He is the knight in shining armour who falls in love, in ek ladki ko dekha toh aisa laga mode..
when did he have a proper conversation with Rumaisa? I get the whole she is very innocent and untouched beauty part, but there isnt even one instance where they both are playing the field on same level. Rumaisa doesn't have to be the smartest person in the world, but atleast she can trying holding a conversation like a normal person.. instead she is just giving bewildered looks or is worrying about unnecessary things..what was all the lame rona over Sajid wanting to commit suicide.. there was an innate chhichorapan or creepiness in the way Nabeel was head over heels in love with the girl he hardly knew anything about..

and I think I can compare Rumaisa and Aiman in that sense..Aiman was not graded as manhoos, but she was considered very average and had lived a loveless life, also had a very low self worth of herself as a result of that..but that dint mean she was dumb by a distance. and these are two characters played by the same actress, i just feel there was scope of making Rumaisa appear more believable..she to me was very lacklustre and a complete gaay..

PS - I love Mansha as Aliya, one firecracker that!😆😆

Just because we watch Indian soaps or are Indian just doesn't means you can catagorize us into the group that we are used to the crying, weeping, sacrificing abla naari.

i cannot believe i am saying this..but our abla naaris may be dumb witted but when it comes to protecting their loved ones they never back down ..i actually lost my cool after seeing little maham being treated the way she is ...

Having said that, I will still say that I felt for Rumaisa just cuz she was a true sufferer of the situations but it just doesn't means that you'll tolerate every damn thing on your self respect and dignity just cuz you're too afraid to protest?! 😕 that's lame.
If not anything, then Rumi should at least take a firm step against all the chichorapann Hassan is doing to her, no woman tolerates this, period.

not once or twice but that man inspite of zeeshan warning him is becoming bold as days go by knowing every well rumiasa will not utter one word ...she is not a victim ,she is just too cowardly and weak to even meekly protest..the whole thing was lame and why i am furious is coz none of them paid for what they did...atleast hassan should have ...the amount of time they spend in showing the nonsense of trying to get zeeshan married off to every girl around ,if only they could have shown some kind of punishment to hassan ,if not all...

And nothing justifies the behavior she's putting up with that Innocent Soul Maham who is as other kids her age should be. Locking her up in the room when she is calling you and looking after other kids?!😕
Beating her up for breaking a vase, handling her roughly? What's this? Taking out all your frustrations on her?
I agree Maham is treated as a burden in that house like her mother, but if Rumaisa will treat her like everyone does what's the difference? And the heights would be asking Zeeshan to leave her daughter in an orphanage? That's madness.

do not get me started on the whole maham issue...i really want to shake rumiasa so hard and scream at her not that i am going to get any response from her except aap mujhse kyun naraaz hai ,and mujhe khush karne she may actually start roaming like a zombie in my house too

I won't say that I haven't seen submissive people, but everything has a limit. I agree she is insecure and has been considered Manhoos by everyone all her life but that doesn't means she'll continue being a doormat.
Sometimes, all you need is to find your inner strength. We aren't asking her to turn into Jhansi Ki Rani overnight, but she should at least make an attempt to fight.

Being tolerable to a limit is okay, but no woman should allow herself to be walked all over by others. It's irony to think that ppl will be happy with you if you bend down to all their wishes and allow yourself to be taken advantage of.

And no one, exactly no one teaches you to raise your voice. That's something that comes from your inner strength.

exactly..no one teaches you all this..you rise to the situation and react ,even then she had nabeel teaching her stuff but she was too busy with stars and fishes to even process what he was hinting at ...she can treat herself however the way she wants but why drag the innocent maham into your rut knowing very well the child has no one except you...for me there is no poor rumiasa ..it is like someone said poor zeeshan and poor maham ...my heart goes out to these two ...

how long does one fight for you ??

@sun29 You're welcome. :) You know though I haven't seen the ending but I still feel that Zeeshan Rumaisa should have been given more time to explore their feelings for each other. You know they should have at least have a more intense conversation to take out their feelings.

Rather than showing the useless crap about Hassan Hamna and Wareed Tayyabba or Zesshan's mother whining him to marry again, the makers should have shown some deep scenes for Rumi and Zeeshan. I for one, would have loved that. 😳

yes instead of those unwanted scenes of the greedy family..if only rumi and zeeshan were given more space and scenes atleast a couple of more episodes before they settled into their life together..i used to love those scenes when he would call her up after nabeel's death just to ask after her...and then the whole silent treatment she gives him in thier room after he asks her to to say nothing...the way his eyes would keep on following her was so adorable and him pretending to read 😆😆

actually given how they have concluded the show the last episode with zeeshan expressing himself to rumi and rumi ka monologue did seem apt end which kind of conveyed their feelings and what the future holds for them...there was a love story waiting to happen and will happen only we shall not be witness to it
