such a beautiful episode it was, as sakshisangini said, yes its the best finale epi. jo dukh ho rahi thi, woh thoda kam hua, yeah miss toh karungi. but such a powerful performances were there today. in Taufeek-Aimen scene and lastly Haider-Aimen scene where haider confessed his love, in these two scenes i cried so much. seriously emotional scene plus amazing actors.

and finally Kanu, thank u so much for suggest me to watch this awesome show, woh T20 mein during ind-pak match virat ne jaise take a bow pose diya tha towards sachin, i m giving take a bow pose to u, thank u thank u.

Aww...u dont have to do that..😳...but thank u...and as for suggesting this serial...ur most welcome.🤗..i actually i wanteed more n more people to watch this gem of serial and isliye i suggested this to both u and palki...she did nt have the time...but i am glad u did ...🤗

as for the two scees u mentioned..both are my favourite...aimen ke taane and confrontation zabardast tha...but mere liye sabse emotional..uska taufik..ko gale laga kar rona tha...and taufik kamal ke baare mein kya kaho...adnan siddiqui jaise actor ke hote hue bhi...taufik..ka character loggon ke dilon mein apni ek alag si jagah bana leta hai...nobody cud have portrayed a stern yet loving father ...than farhan ali agha(taufik kamal)

Finally this wonderful show came to an end today & like anything good it left me wanting for more. I will miss it terribly & have already downloaded many of the episodes from dailymotion & will continue watching them on a loop😳

Adnan Siddiqui: I have loved this man ever since I saw him in Mere Qatil Mere Dildaar. He is a subtle & versatile actor & is brilliant as Haider Masood, Aimen's friend & guide. He once again shows his versatility when playing the energetic & lively boyfriend & husband of Sajeela & then later on the reticent friend of Aimen. The passage of five years & the signs of all that he underwent five years ago is masterfully portrayed by Adnan. And while I loved the ending I wish they had given the promise he made "akhri saas tak tumhara humdum tumhara dost banke rahunga" to Aimen, since he had made a similar promise to Sajeela but this time he gets the promise from his wife sort of.

Sanam Jung: I am not much of a fan of hers but she is too good as Aimen. The initially reserved & quite girl who literally blossoms into this confident budding businesswoman under Haider's care & attention is nicely brought out by Sanam. The director too has been careful in not making her those typical loud, irritating & almost foolishly innocent village belles. Her innocence is believable & doesn't border on stupidity & hence is all the more appealing.

Hareem Farooq: The typical "love to hate" character, she has played Sajeela perfectly. You do feel sorry for Sajeela when she is betrayed by Mazhar for she did love him with all her heart but then you are reminded of how horrible she has been with Haider & her behaviour with Aimen when she returns to Pakistan & all the sympathy you feel for her is lost.

Taufeeq Kamaal: This character proved to be a surprise package. While in the initial episodes I dismissed him as the usual uncaring husband & father who ditched the poor wife for the more accomplished & sophisticated Almas, it is later revealed that Taufeeq wasn't entirely to be blamed. And then he completely won me over during the last episode when he comforted his heart broken daughter & we hear him telling Almas that he wanted to give his daughter all the joys in the world but he is feeling so helpless here for nothing is in his hands. Such a complex yet complete character👏

The supporting characters: I loved the supporting characters in this drama, especially Bibi & Sahir. Bibi was a no nonsense woman & the only one who called out Sajeela on her bullshit & gave her a fitting reply. I wouldn't say she was the only one who understood Sajeela's true intentions, but where Haider was all ice, she was all fire. Sahir was cute as Aimen's younger brother. I liked how the story did not take the usual route of step brother/ mother hating the step sister/ daughter. I had even loved Almas till she fell prey to Sajeela's crocodile tears & hurt Haider & Haider - Aimen's relationship in the process. But then Sajeela is her sister so we cannot really blame her for wanting her sister to be happy...and then of course Haider is such a man that I understood why she wanted to help her sister win him back in her own little way. And of course we cannot completely dismiss her concern about the age difference between Aimen - Haider.

The OST: Like all Pakistani shows the OST of this show is melodious & has been playing on repeat on my cellphone. The lyrics too deserve a special mention, especially the male part which bring out Haider's POV so succinctly.

Mana mushkil hai iqrar - e - mohabbat lekin
Apni chahat ka inkaar, bata kaise karu

And lastly need to mention about Fatima too. I felt sorry for her, she almost had the man she liked but then she didnt I always end up feeling bad for such characters

Bas aur kya kahu, this show has made a place in my top 5 Pakistani dramas & definitely is worth watching on a loop again & again. Sharing a VM I found on youtube...a personal favourite since I feel the lyrics match Haider - Aimen perfectly😳

finally saw the finale episode on zindagi yesterday..
ok first - I love how they have put together the OST this time with frames of Hai-Man scenes..

that scene where Haider is having a heart to heart conversation about how he is hurting himself for breaking Aiman's heart is so darn good 🥺 I felt for him so bad there..fact is that he has always placed Aiman on a higher pedestal..oh gosh men like him who love and respect their women so much, are just

Taufique-Aiman moments were definitely one of the biggest highlights..its amazing to see how much their rapport/ relationship has evolved..the father-daughter have connected so much, in silence, in pain..so poignant that Aiman could pour her heart out to Taufique ultimately, because she finally knew he would understand her sentiments..

Bibi is the BEST as always😎😎😎 finally unki aur hamari khwahish puri huyi🤣

Almas looked genuinely concerned and happy for Hai-Man..😊

now the best scenes ever..

the whole of last 10 minutes beginning from the big confrontation to the mangni pakki to the curtain down closing Hai-Man scene (ofcourse dil maangey so much more), but damn!😳 why are they so cute😳 oh gosh that entire run to the end was GOLD!❤️

Aiman's dil jaley taaney, those silent tears of Haider, his breaking voice, the OST playing in BG during confession, the very happy family picture, and the final promise of Haider to Aiman..nothing seals the deal so beautifully..it was just serene and adequate

Ofcourse, Id love to have a season 2 to this show😆, because it would always be nice to see how Hai-Man handled their post marriage life and careers and everything else ahead..

Signing off with this closing picture:

❤️
