Mahira Khan Humsafar star in an interview with BBC Urdu mentioned that she has no idea why people are obsessed with fair complexion.

Since she is attractively gorgeous and general doesn't utter such words which may lead to some controversy, her statement about the fairness complex' is not welcomed by many actress inside the country. She said that fairness complex is much prevalent in Pakistan and that it is beyond her understanding to why people are overwhelmed with being fair.

During an interview with BBC Urdu, the Ho Mann Jahaan leading actress said that she would not approve beauty creams since she believed that the nation is in need to break free from such obsession to become fair. She added that she does not judge people who choose for fairness creams or approves them but deny to promote that idea herself via ads.
