So Happy to see such good positive discussions and feedback pouring in for Shukk. I'm totally hooked to this show and loving it.😳😳

Talking about Farhat Ishtiaq, By far I have only loved her one work ie Rehaai. The Storyline was good and progressive, plus the cast essembled by MJ and she herself as a director was amazing too.⭐️

Humsafar as you said Hiroo that you couldn't find an emotional connect with DeD, I too had the same with this series. The lead Khirad didn't work for me although the show had a good cast, amazing direction, soulful music and the classic romantic scenes which made me fall for Fawad more! 😳😳

Yet to watch MHMD and I will cuz have heard such good reviews from you. I'm sure Zindagi will air it. I'm more fond of Umera's writing be it ZGH, Daam, Maat, Miraat-ul-Uroos and others.

Then DeD, I just can say If I watch that drama it'll be for Sanam as Ruhi. Ppl hated Ruhi and Sanam herself hated it yet I read so many appreciative tweets on Twitter for her performance.👏👏👏

Maya Ali, I found her cute and okay in Aunn Zara and also in real she seems pretty but I wasn't much impressed by her acting there too. I also came across many ppl who complained for her acting as Farah.

OKB, I find him good in Comic Scenes and that guy has a good witty sense of Humour in real too. But you hit my spot Hiroo that voice..😆😆😆 He has that weird voice and Maya too has a high pitched voice. Yet to see him in serious role so will save my comments till then, But whatever I've seen Wali is too too perfect IMO, the reason why Afzal from PA didn't work for me too.

I have a fetish for men and characters who are hot, mature, good looking, witty and a slight grey or flawed. Which is I totally love Zaroon from ZGH and Jamshed From JH. ❤️

Too much Whitewashing? Umm doesn't works for me! 😳😳

+10 for that Husky Barritone Tho!! ☺️

Mahn, I still get feels when Zaroon talks to Kashaf and hints at intimacy after their marriage! ☺️

Or Be it Faisal, who pulls Ujala closer and whispers something to her in that rain in Mora Piya! ☺️

If they are men, then they should have a barritone Period.😳

U know Shanaya my hubby too is totally hooked to the show. I mean I hardly watch any show on TV, but whenever I watch, he used to dis his own stuff. But after the first few epis, I saw that he sits and watches the whole epi with interest. And last night I asked my daughter to go to sleep and from teh bedroom she was complaining that the sound was disturbing her (as we were watching Shukk) and I took the remote to lower the vol and my husband told her if that's d case then to close her bedroom door! I was really taken aback.😆😆😆

Adeel ❤️. I absolutely love the show .I wish Indian serials were as good as them.The realistic chord that these Pakistani serials hit is unbelievable. Loving the storyline, I'm a huge sucker for triangles especially when it comes after marriages.

Uff, What A Day This Has Been With Sanam's Debut Movie Bachaana's Trailer Release And I've Been Tweeting And RTing like Mad..!! 😆😆😆 But Then, I cannot stay away from anything that's Sanam as she's my Girl Crush! ❤️

@Munira Dido Lolwa! 🤣 You know Whaaattt? Though My Father Admires And Loves Sanam as an Artiste but due to his work and stuff he's not able to give complete time to watch the series but would you believe that he's watching it regularly?? 😆😆😆

He has loved you, loved you so much that he has always taken the fact that she can't bear a child to him so maturely, tolerated your idiotic impulsive antics as thinking them to be childish but no? You dumb head, chose to ignore all the facts and see what's been shown to you!

I'm happy that Ehteshaam denied Sehrish's stupid demand to remove Sania from the job! That's Insane and he can't be a part of that insanity. He tried so hard to have her secure in his love but all vain! Must Say, I love Ehteshaam's Devil May Care Attitude towards Sania and Sehrish..!! 👏👏👏 He knows he is not wrong so he won't waste his time to convince Sehrish.⭐️

Again Sehrish, what was the big deal if they were in the mall and had an ice cream? 😕 I wouldn't mind seriously! Poor Sania, she's facing such dilemma and she doesn't deserves it. How Dare Sehrish? How Dare She? How Dare She talked to Sania so rudely? How dare she walk into her house and talk shit about Sania Ehteshaam?? 😲 That's Insane! 😡😡

Sania's Family seem to be settling in a bit with Ali supporting her and things warming up between Ali Rumi..❤️

I loved the scene where Ali lifts Rumi up for his Football and then my Baccha hugs him. ❤️ Aww..🤗

Maham..😡😡😡 How dare she insult Ehteshaam like that and Sehrish tolerated that? I would have slapped Maham if in place of Ehteshaam. Allah Bachaaye Aise Best Friends Se!! 😳

Sania Ehteshaam..😳😳 I'm loving their scenes. How cutely Ehteshaam hands her a glass of water when Sania was crying over Sehrish's Behavior in his cabin..❤️

Or when they went to the mall...

Ehteshaam : Sania accha hua aapne balance kar liya warna inko dekhkar lag raha hai ki modeling agency mein kaam karte ho! 😆😆😆

Thank God, I'm not impulsive like Sehrish who would in future go down to the extent of someone's married life.

Yet again a good episode. Infact a better one than monday's, since it has some positive changes stored for Sania. 😳 Yes, I'm talking about Ali who not only spent some lively time with Rumi but also told his mother how good Sania is,which of course doesn't makes the khadoos MIL happy! 🤔 But yes, that little moment of Ali and Rumi was so adorable..!! 😳 Rumi, mera cute sa bachcha <33 How cutely he threw the ball above the cupboard and was sad when Ali himself gave him the ball. :( It was obvious he wanted Ali to hold him so that he could take the ball... And then the little hug <33 ❤️ Everytime this kid is onscreen I can never help but just go 'awww' at his cute antics <33😳

And as much as I want to pull Rumi's cheeks, I would love to give a slap on Maham's face. 🤬Why can't she just stay away from all this Sania-Ehtisham issue? Sehrish should understand the difference between a true friend and the one who simply appears a well-wisher in front of you. Infact she should have understood her nature when Maham clicked Sania-Ehtisham's photo and claimed it that if she was in her place then she would have showed the photo to Ali immediately. 😡 Koi kaam dhanda hai nahi iss aurat ko toh chali hai dusron ka ghar barbaad karne 😵

Then Sehrish... Chalo, even though I'm more on Sania's side, I understand what Sehrish is going through. She suffered a miscarriage, and was not even out of her depression properly when she suddenly came to know about her husband's engagement with Sania and also that both are working together in office. But whatever she's doing now is not at all justifying! She has known Ehtisham since 7 years and instead of making things clear by talking to him, she believes her so-called friend! It scared me when she was going to tell Ali about Sania's engagement with Shaam.

Ehtisham... I think I've already added his name to my list of favorite characters. ❤️ He's putting in all his efforts to save his marriage and also to save Sania from panic attacks which Sehrish gives her 😆 I admire their little scenes like when he complimented her about decent dressing while other girls were specially dressed up for going to the mall. And also the scene after Sehrish sees them in mall and Sania gets another panic attack. :P Okay I know I might be wrong but I've already started shipping Sania-Ehtishaam ❤️ 🤪 And yes I agree that Adeel-Sanam make a perfect couple onscreen <3 I said the same thing about Adeel and Sanan B during Daam so I guess Adeel looks good with both Sanams and also Amina. 😳

Good that Ali realized the people with whom he was going to start a business were actually not trustworthy. And instead of trying to hide from Sania taaki wo hawaaon mein na udne lage, you stupid fool Ali, you should sit and discuss your business matters with her so that she can save you from frauds and losses since she has enough knowledge in this field.

The new promo scares me Just when things were getting fine at Sania's place, Sehrish ruined it all. 😒

P.S-: I'm loving the OST of this drama now. ❤️

Firaaq which again started off really well and again Sanam's character in dis drama was something different, but they badly lost the plot midway. Maybe Zindagi will air it.

And finallt Diyar-e-Dil which was a huge hit and Sanam-Mikaal have amazing chemistry in this drama. I personally had issues with the way the story was told, but it was well-loved and popular. Many ppl r asking for this drama, so I guess Zindagi will air it sooner or later.

What's Ek Kasak about? Sorry to ask randomly about other show in this DT but I'm curious to know about this coz I never got to read a proper concept online, though the reviews say that it was a too bad drama :/

The same goes for Firaaq, and then I saw DeD being the most discussed drama of 2015... I read half story on Wiki but I guess I'll watch it either online or when Zindagi airs it. 😃

Ah! Another good episode yesterday. I like how they have shown the gradual change in the lives of the protagonists. While Shaam and Shehrish's perfect lives have taken a turn for the worst, Sania's hell is slowly turning into paradise. This tells us what we make out of our lives is up to ourselves. You can be handed over the best things but you can still be unhappy like Shehrish. She has been blessed by the best hubby and MIL and yet she chooses to believe the words of a 'friend' who is nothing but a snake. While Sania took the words of her well wisher Shehrish and started changing things in her life for the better.

But despite the changes the two villians that is Sania's MIL and Maham remain. Maham not satisfied with destroying Shehrish's happiness now instigates her to ruin Sania's happiness too. Very typical of people who enjoy lives by watching others unhappiness.

A special mention for little Rumi and his gradual bonding with Ali. I like how the whole thing is shown so naturally rather than the child who hardly knows his father taking to him immediately. I also like how the villains are not shown typical villians ie they are what they are due to their respective natures. Similarly Shehrish's problems happen mainly due to her own nature.

I watched this drama very randomly and mostly skipped it. The story went something like Sanam being a social worker, working for Hina Bayat, living with her widowed motehr and younger sister under the very watchful and censorious eyes of her strict and rigidly religious Chacha, who disapproves of her and wants her married to his equally religious son. She is shown rebellious. Mikal is the brotehr of Hina who has a failed kidney. Hina comes to know that Sanam's kidney is compatible with Kikal's and tricks her into marrying Mikaal. Sanam donates her kidney to Mikaal, though Mikaal is angry that she got tricked into marrying him. Their marriage isn't exactly going go, but they start working on it and Mikaal is just starting to warm towards Sanam when his ex-gf returns and is obsessed with Mikaal and wants him back and he ends up marrying her and it becomes more crappy.😆

Anyways the characters were developed very poorly. Sanam's character sometimes behaved like Kashaf and sometimes like a typical 'abla naari' and the rest were equally bad. Also acting wise it seemed all of them including Sanam just sleep walked through their roles. All looked like zombies.😆

DeD was very popular, though I didn't like the over-simplified and sometimes illogical way the characters and relationship was shown. I think what made DeD so popular was that it was a very clean drama with no extra marital affairs and 2nd wives and the works, a la Sooraj Bharjatya type with the drama based basically on the 2 brothers and the father and their family. Also I suppose first time the story was about 2 brothers and so was well received and a family saga and all about loving your family (and having amnesia about the past😉 😆).

There were glimpses of chemistry

I like the naturalness and gradualness of how one situation leads to another and the logical way they show the whole progression. The pace is just right.😳

Also this is one drama where the child and his part has been so wonderfully etched and kudos to the writer for writing the part keeping in mind the psychology of a child. I too loved the love and trust developing between Ali and Rumi and how Ali realizes that what Sania said was right, about first learning to love your child!

OK so last night's epi was another gripping one.

How amazing is Ehteshaam. Loved how he talked it out with his MIL and after having a conversation with her went to Sherish and earnestly told about how much he loves her and finally he even said that losing their child was the will of Allah. He was very understanding and Sherish too finally got convinced. But then the very next day she again fell for all the vile accusations of Maham and it was very disappointing on her part.

I too love the contrasting life and nature shown of Sania and Sherish. Like Sania's MIL has been so harsh to her, but she made excuses for her when Sherish or her MIL tried to bad-mouth her. On the other hand Sherish's MIL has been so good to her, but her one lapse and Sherish calls her a draamebaaz!😲 that even her mother reprimanded her for speaking in such a manner. Now she comes across as selfish.

Sania seems tensed and panicky and rightly so as she is afraid how Sherish's Shukk could end up ruining her life, as she told Ehteshaam.

Anyways Sherish's Shukk is becoming a vicious circle for all of them - Sania, Ehteshaam and Sherish herself.
