Hmm, I actually understand your confusion about Farah's character. I felt the same way when I was first watching this drama. That's why I keep insisting she is the most fascinating character of all here. Others, including Afzal, are pretty straight forward. They are inside what they are on their faces. Farah lies to others as well as toherself a lot. And you'll only understand her once you complete the show. I started finding these little clues about her only when I watched it the second time. That's why I can now write pages on her 😆. Most viewers' reaction to herat this stage is of dislike. This will turn into intense dislike, which will later turn into outright hate as the drama progresses 😆But you ve got to have that certain appreciation of grey characters to reallyget her. 😉

For someone like me who found Saman's character way more fascinating than Aiman's in Maat, Farah is VERY interesting. 😊(And I said fascinating, not likeable! 😆)

On Friday the main thing that happened was that Farah decided in one of her impulsive moods to text Afzal and call off the whole plan. Afzal saw this as a sign that he is going to lose her forever and when Farah's father called him on the phone and invited his parents over for dinner that night, he decided to take the plunge of faith and accepted it. Later that night they visited Farah's home and that's where Farah decided to let it all out in the open in front of both their families.

but dear I watch it several time and I still hate her because no any reason satisfied me about her behavior because she is a intelligent girl not a little kids so why we understand that she never no what she doing such type of people are bossy who want everyone dance on their finger

But that's why i said, I dont find her LIKEABLE, I find her FASCINATING.There is a difference. And I admit, I am from a minority who appreciate grey characters because they are more interesting to analyze than goody-two-shoes kinds.

I get that. And I guess I should be more appreciative. I do like grey characters. But Im yet to see any good in Farah,so until then.. Also,I think if Farah was shown to be a bit more younger, her actions would have made sense to me.
She just seems stupid to me. And has no mind of her own. And easily influenced. If she wants to do something bad,she must do it with conviction, which she doesn't.

She does remind me a lot of 90s heroines in bollywood. The rebellious daughters of wealthy fathers.

And the reason I asked if Afzal ever smiled is bcoz Im starting to get bored of his sulking face (Dont hit me. I feel bad for him,I do. ) But I want to see some variation in him. Show some anger atleast. Show some other emotion too.

Hmm,so tomorrow's episode looks interesting. How far off are with the actual episodes? has it crossed 15 actual episodes atleast ?

Btw ek aur heroine hai? Hain? 🤓

I want a bitchy 2nd heroine. Who would show Farah her place 🤪

So today's episode had some really good scenes. For me, 3 scenes stood out.

One was of course the Farah confrontation scene. The way she said "Mangni to duur ki baat, mein to iski shakal dekhne ko bhi tayyar nahi hun," and his responding expression... It felt like all the hopes and dreams he had dared to dream about Farah after she recently started talking to him came crashing down inside him.

Second scene was between Moulvi sahab and his wife. He bought the sleeping tablets because he thought they wont be able to sleep that night because of happiness. Instead they now needed those same tablets to escape from sorrow 😒. The sleeping tablets will become a regular part of their lives from now on. I always found Moulvi sahab's concern about his wife very touching. Especially when it almost always looked like he was trying to take his focus away from his own fears and sorrow by focusing his concerns on his wife instead. On the other hand, his wife shows her concern about Afzal through anger. None of them say it outright to him how much they love him. I guess once your children are grown up it becomes harder for parents to express emotion too.

Third scene was at Sajid's house. First of all, it shows again how firm Afzal is about his principles. Even after being so disgraced at her hands, he did not divulge her name in front of his friends. Even Sajid said, "Kuch to bata do jisay sun kar lagay tum mujhay dost samajhtay ho." Afzal again refused to tell any detail. I felt really bad for him when Sajid said Ammi Abba se maafi maang lay, and he replied, "Phir maafi?" The poor guy seems to be apologizing to his parents every time he faces them. 😆

This scene also tells us how helpless Afzal is when it comes to Farah. When he says, "Lekin mein kya karta, Sajid? Dil agar bewafai karay to bewafai karni parti hai." Meaning he preferred taking his parents there and hearing a No rather than never trying for her at all, even when he knew chances of a No are huge. By listening to his heart, he cheated on his parents.

While Sajid was being his usual friendly self, advising him from his own break up experience that "50% se zyada muhabbatein maa baap ke haath jorney pe toot jati hain", Timmy was also helping him in his own way - "Apni muhabbat fast kar. Khat se nikal aur SMS try kar. Koi aur dhoond. Usay maa baap ka itna khayal tha to muhabbat karte waqt apni Amma se pooch leti ke kar loon?" 😆

And of course it totally breaks my heart when Afzal cries in the end. 😭 His friends have no idea how deeply he is hurt. Because he never told them.

In addition to these three scenes, the scene where Arifa tells him to not say anything until their father says something, warna maaray jaogay. And he replies, "Maara to gaya hun. Abba phir maareingay kya?" 😒 I guess nobody in his family really realizes how much Farah's response has affected him. They of course have no idea how he had been idolizing her for so many years. The scene where he is walking home alone in the rain showed how alone he was, just because he couldn't share his real sorrow with anyone, neither family nor friends, nor Farah herself.

Oh and we did get some important references to the 'letters' in this episode. Afzal's dialogue ke aaj uskay saaray khat jala doonga has a bearing on whatever he felt today, and why he doesn't tell anyone about them. But no use talking about them at this point 😉

HOW COULD I HAVE NOT REPLIED TO SUCH AN EXCELLENT POST BASED ON AN EPISODE WHICH I LOVE TO BITS FOR MAKING ME EVERY TIME? 😭 ❤️ I think the thing I love the most about this post is that it covers every scene that hit me right in the feels 😳 For me, this post is the best on the thread so far 👏 Can you do this for every significant episode? 😃 Seriously discussing this drama is making me love it so much more and this post made me think things that I hadn't thought of before 😳

Scene no 1 where she baisti-fies him in front of his family is dil toots scene for me 💔 The way he closes his eyes as if bracing himself as soon as she starts talking, I'm like 😭

That second scene of Moulvi Sahib and his wife is so touching. His care and concern for her makes my heart melt and how tries to mellow down her anger is just so sweet ❤️ And yes like you pointed it out it does seem like he is focusing all his energy on her so that he doesn't have time to wallow in sadness himself

"Lekin mein kya karta, Sajid? Dil agar bewafai karay to bewafai karni parti hai." You've explained this line so well 👏

Timmy and Saajid. I like the latter so much better 😃 Timmy is 😕 Khair when Afzal cries at the end, that was the first time I cried properly wala while watching this drama. Yaar his tears are so natural and bloodshot eyes and all. He was so hurt at that point and you want to punch his friends for not realizing it but then again, Afzal had never disclosed anything substantial about Farah to them so I don't think they ever realized the extent of his love for her 😕

This dialogue was for me, one of the most heart-wrenching dialogues of this serial. The way he says "Maara to gaya hun. Abba phir maareingay kya?" I iterally felt my heart breaking for him. Btw this was the dialogue I was mentioning when I said I had been watching one of his dialogues over and over again, marveling at the perfection of its deliverance by Hamza 👏👏 He was flawless in the way he utters this 👏

So perfectly explained >> The scene where he is walking home alone in the rain showed how alone he was, just because he couldn't share his real sorrow with anyone, neither family nor friends, nor Farah herself.
^^ I didn't think of it in this direction. No wonder I felt so unbearably sad seeing him in this scene 😭 It's like I hadn't had this figured out in my head but my heart knew so it ached for him 😆

Me neither. The jokes are not my type at all 😕 Bin Roye is what I'm looking forward to 😳 Did you read the premiere reviews? They say the acting is REALLY good but the plot has loopholes 😕 The music is great though 👏 Dekhtay hain what happens agay 😉
