I think Zaroon's biggest victory was how he was able to stem saas-bahu friction between his mom and Kashaf. Most men are mama's boys but Zaroon was a papa's boy. Asher was first papa's boy and later mama's boy. Points to Ghazala too for being fair to Kashaf and giving credit where it was due.
Zaroon was never blind or even indebted to his parents, he had seen his parents being easy, comfortable and giving him freedom.. and thats why he would easily relate to his dad, and then even understand Rafiya's values and point out gazala's ignorance.. Asher was whole society's boy .. i still remember how he was silently following baseerat to hydrabad and brought khirad and her mom, without even speaking a damn single word, and again lets give credit to baseerat and fareeda, eventhough these two were spineless and selfish but the values and qualities they ingrained in Asher, it shocks me..
once khirad told fareeda that " its better that my daughter was with me and not in this house otherwise she would be cunning like you ".. but my question is fareeda's own son does not even understand what cunningness is, so there was a very strong grudge factor that played into their equation..
