As per Twitter he was supposed to sing but he opted out last min because there was some problem with his voice... Though I doubt he would not do it if he had committed to it.

I dont think he can just opt out. That would be extremely unprofessional if he did that. Most likely organizers were spreading false news that he would sing.

Agree and that is what I said. Not sure why he went all the way to Dhaka? Was it only this?

Seems so...he did go to Dubai/Qatar also for such things. Who wouldnt if he got paid so much for 5 mins.
