I like the older Arfeen better, acting wise too. Faisal has portrayed the remorseful, full of guilt and shattered Arfeen brilliantly. I had tears in my eyes when he visist's Saba's grave and lays flowers on her grave. You feel so sorry and sad for him.😭

Yes it is a bit depressing but the show touches your heart deeply.

Even I like the older Arfeen more.. Faysal qureshi has done a great job, but yes, I also like Saba and Arfeen romantic scenes. They were really cute.. Faysal is fab at romance! 😃

Arfeen and Saba's love was so pure, but I think Saba loved Arfeen more. All her life she stayed around him working as a labor in his factory, she was educated and could have gotten any other job easily but she chose to stay close to him. She loved spending time with Haider, and she took care of him too. And Arfeen was searching Saba all his life but never found her even when she was just under his nose.

Today's episode was so heart breaking. The way Saba's taya hit her on the road was patehtic and Saba's own family does not believe her 😒
So guys what are your views about this episode?

Yeah totally heart wrenching episode! Gosh how quick to judge people can be.

BTW as from now onwards I'm gonna be busy and know that I'll end up missing a few episodes and also being the impatient kind I watched the drama online. A couple of episodes left to watch.

*SIGH*...Loved the story and loved how finally Saba lived on her own terms, though that may not have been the life she would have envisaged for herself.

BTW acting wise all are top notch. Faisal is outstanding and actually he has 3/4 stages in the drama - first the romantic Arfeen madly in love with Saba, then d bitter Arfeen, then the angry and remorseful Arfeen and finally as the old Arfeen and he has done justice to all the stage.

The actress palying Saba is also good. She played the silent, calm Saba very well. Samina Peerzada was brilliant as usual, though I felt she went OTT sometimes, but guess dat's more to do with the character she is playing. The father of Arfeen was good too, though couldn't get some of his dialogues.😳😆

Liked Imran Abbas too. He was fine as Haider, but the weakest link IMO was Sarwat as Sara. Sorry to say, but she was not at all impressive as Sara and after Saba one would feel most for her, but I couldn't feel much for her character.

The characters and the show gives me a heavy dejavu. Like Arfeen reminds me a lot of Zaroon...what Zaroon would have done under similar circumstances. Arfeen has a spine. Then Haider reminds me of Imran's character from Malaal. Too sweet and too good to be true. Sara in some ways reminds me of Kashaf. I think its the result of watching too many Umera Ahmad shows. 😆The story is ofcourse a bit like Humsafar but a lot more as expected in Umera's shows. But nevertheless I find the show very gripping.

After Arfeen's mom lied under oath there was no point really. No one would have believed her anyway. Plus I think she didnt want Arfeen to get into a dilemma between his mom and her. She was confident that his mom wouldnt lie. Since she did it was her word vs his mom's. She gave him an easy way out.

I suppose Saba refused coz she did not want Arfeen to lose his faith. When Arfeen comes to confront Saba and Saba says what if both his mother and she swear on the Quran, he says he'll lose faith in Allah. I think that's Y she refuses.

It was her word against a woman known to be very religious. Nobody would have believed her anyways if both took the Quran.. And plus she was so sure that Arfeen wouldn't leave her at any cost even if she did not take the Quran.

But you know what? This show came way before Zindagi Gulzar Hai and Malaal 😆
Yes, Sara's character was very proud and she had a bit of ego but not as much as Kashaf 😆
Since ZGH, Malaal and KYQ are all written by Umera you are bound to find similarities in the characters. 😃
