Hello Fawadians. 😆😃 I am new here, and haven't had the time to read the whole thread. But Fawad Khan ki shaan me, would love to share a incident with you all.
I spotted FK on ZGH, as my classmate could not stop talking about him and I was like I have to see who this man is. And bless that classmate of mine, she made my life so much better. 😆 But yeah, I sadly missed ZGH the first time it was aired and could catch only the last few episodes. But in those few episodes too, Fawad Khan found a fan in me. His magnetic charisma had me fangirling already as I immediately raided YT and watched all Zashaf scenes in one go 😆😳 And then, it was Fawad everywhere! I was glued when ZGH aired the second time. Zaroon had me hooked, but Kashaf had me in awe. Well, I won't start about ZGH in this post or it'll be never ending but let's just say I was a Fawadholic already 😳😳 And then came Khoobsurat, the icing of the cake That royal look just took my breath away and I found myself watching it thrice in the multiplex, ogling each time at FK with equal passion 😆😳 You can make out I was already head over heels in love 😳
SO! Now, coming to the incident lol 😆
It was a few weeks back that I was doing a countdown for HS. Finally my chance to Fawad daily 😆😳 And I announced at my home that 8-9 is my TV time. Everyone was aware about my Fawad Fever, so no one cared to protest. Plus, I had Mom's support as she loves Fawad too 😆😆 But my Dad, typically, did comment annoyed that he too will have to bear the stupid drama. Well, for the record, Dad hates daily soaps, courtesy to our super slow, melodramatic and unrealistic shows. (And rightly so😕) But I explained to him (in vain) that Pakistani shows are wayyy different! Anyway, he paid no heed and just complied with me. 😛😆
Then HS began. First two episodes, and my Dad was hooked too. He loved the freshness, pace and realism of the serials. He was pleasantly surprised by how different these shows are from the Indian ones, no drama and taam-jhaam. Plus, like me, he was loving Urdu. 👍🏼
BUT! It was only around the completion of the 6th episode that the unexpected happened. As a fangirl and as just females (hormones you know?😆) Mom and I used to rave about FK all day. Mom just saying "Haan bohot acha hai" and me going into details of his husky voice, honey colored eyes, that hell of a jawline etc etc etc 😳😳😆
But, for obvious reasons, my Dad did not indulge in that practice. 😆 He hardly praises any actor and is damn critical. But one day, post watching the 6th episode, while dinner, as I was going on and on about HS, he made this little comment about FK:
"Pata hai, uss ka andaaz Dilip Sahab se bohot milta hai. Ekdum Dilip Sahab ki yaad dilata hai mujhe."
Dilip Sahab being the great Dilip Kumar. I may mention that for my father's generation, and even for anyone of us, Dilip Kumar is a legend of Indian cinema. Enough said. And I know that my father admires him. He was the epitome of great acting, and I have seen my father literally worship his acting. To him to compare FK with Dilip Kumar was HUGE. Just HUGE.
My father elaborated no more as that was self explanatory. I mention this here because the fan in me, that day, swelled with pride. Good looks are a god gifted thing. But the skill to act, emote and romance the camera is one hell of a talent.
Fawad Afzal Khan is not just a heir of good looks, charm and elegance. He is a bundle of talent, a powerhouse. Yes, I fangirl over his sexiness, and will always do.😆 But with equal commitment I can vow that he is a brilliant actor, and it's not just good looks, but amazing acting skills that make him a sensation. Great acting in rare these days, and looks are overruling any scope, sadly. But I can shout at the top of my voice that Fawad Khan is one great actor. Be it romancing, crying, showing angst, pain or jealousy, he does each with pure perfection. 👏
All said in his appraisal in less, inadequate. And hence, I will just end with saying, We all are super proud to be his fans. 👏👏😳
