Finish this thread folks.

Ok one zgh queztion from my side- there was a class debate about class difference and the role played by tyem in society. It turned out to be one heated arguement between Zaroon kashaf. Post that, there is a diary entry by Zaroon sYing that kashaf made him class concious. Wasnt he already a class concious guy flaunting his status? Whats your take on this friends.

Without being biased, my view on the debate, Kashaf could have made the same point but she did get personal about Zaroon and Asmara in that debate... So while everyone blamed Zaroon, I think Kashaf could have made her point about the wealthy being careless or carefree or whatever she wanted to say...

Regarding class conscious, its a debatable topic... Zaroon knew he belonged to the upper class but since from childhood he has experienced a rich lifestyle he is used... But I never saw him flaunting it consciously... The way he was because he was used to it! However, he does say that girls like Kashaf come running after rich men etc... So maybe he was... But the way he gelled with Kashaf's family.. the face wash, the fan, the light etc etc in the end implied that he was not so much class consscious

I would say Asmara was pretty class conscious though... Zaroon was fighting a different battle with Kashaf.. Most of all he had a bruised ego because of two things -

1. Kashaf academically did better than him

2. She was the only person to not swoon over Zaroon

Yes he was surely class concious imo as he used to flaunt his upper class life style. I guess kashaf's wrds wrre below the belt hit to him which made him see the mirror in that wY, thus that diary entry , ke itna class concious toh main kabhi nahi tha. He thought it was a natural expression and extension of himself, chudail awwal showed him that its not natural bt just his surroundings which mk him believe so.

More than Class it was THE ego between Zaroon and Kashaf...But asmara...no comments on that.

Kashaf made him class conscious... If he was really class conscious he would never never have married Kashaf... I do not think it was one of his predominant personality traits.
