Coming to the episode, what can I say? Such perfectly choreographed 40 minutes. It graduated from the inherent intense pain, to the last straw on Khirad's pain, to her pain turning into self-motivation and finally into Ashar and Khirad emerging as two completely different individuals. HS, as expected, has been a beautiful screenplay👏

I won't talk much about the episode. Of course, give due credits to Mahira. The episode belonged to her! The cupboard scene, where all of a sudden she wants to go to Ashar and in the next moment she feels dirty and tainted- heartbreaking. Her transient pain shifted from her own miserable life to her concern regarding her child's dark future. The mother in her awakens, and now she longs for Ashar not only as her husband but as her child's father. Beautifully directed scene, and Mahira was just awesome. By every episode, she is beating herself again and again. Top notch performance! 👏

In fact all her scenes were amazing. The delivery scene sent shivers through everyone. The last phone call, the last effort from her side to set things straight, if not for herself, for her child. And her breakdown at Ashar's harsh words was perfectly emoted. She knows her world has crashed down to nothing. (I hated Ashar here😡)

And the cherry on the cake was the post delivery scene. Beautifully penned powerful dialogues! The feminist in me loved it😆I wanted to bow down to Khirad. It was high time she took a stand for herself and her daughter. "Ashar Hussain mere liye mar chuka hai." She was hesitant, yet firm. She knew the path she is choosing will be tough, but that was the path of dignity and integrity. Perfectly executed.👏

And for all of the above, kudos to Mahira! Woman, you are amazing.👏👏😊

Coming to Ashar's side of the story, there is no way I am justifying his actions anymore. But nevertheless, when he was sleeping in the office all depressed, his face clad with despair and loneliness, I felt terrible. I cannot help but pity him. He ruined his life with his very own hands.😭

And as always, Fawad was brilliant. What's new? THE SPECTACLES!😳😳

Okay, the leap is here. Great okay yes fine. I love Mahira and all but FAWAD IN SPECS OMG I WAS HYPERVENTILATING! Isn't he hot enough to now wear those oh so sexy geek glasses and kill me?! Damn, didn't he look hot. I saw the 'coming up' and Ashar sitting there in those specs, and I was hooting and screeching at the top of my voice. The critical viewer took a complete back seat and my Fawadian mode got activated😆😳This man🤗

Okay, focus.😆The Sara and Ashar scene was the perfect push to the leap, and I dare say, those glasses are a master stroke! It just adds to Ashar's angry and cold look. Even after all these years, he is shut down from the world and has clearly not moved on a bit.

And here, I will like to make a point. The difference between Ashar and Khirad, between a man and a woman. I may have written this before too😆But yes. A man is emotionally weak, and his love is his biggest weakness. Ashar fell weak the day he believed Khirad betrayed him. And the shield of coldness and anger around him is just a deceiving veil to the outside world. Inside, he is very weak and broken and brittle. ( As the precap clearly shows.) Khirad, on the other hand, being a woman, is emotionally much stronger. Previously, Ashar was her strength. And now, Hareem is. She has actually buried all the pains of her past and has transformed into a strong and powerful woman. She is strong from the outside, as well as the inside. She has become a fighter, and will take on to anything to protect her daughter. And this aspect has been executed and portrayed brilliantly in HS.👏

But anyway. I love where HS is going. This show is getting better day by day! And as much as I am looking forward to watch the fighter Khirad, I am eager to see the father in Ashar wake up and witness yet another adorable shade of him!

And I will end it by...OH! FAWAD IN SPECS! HOTNESS WAS BEING SPELLED! Forgive my fangirling 😆

But this man😳You, Fawad Afzal Khan, will be the death of me.😳😳

I dunno..but even when he is emoting the most emtnl scenes..my heart feels the emotion of the character but aankhen fawad ko hi dekh rahi hoti hai!! 😳 😳 😆

the scene where he was in office late at nite...tensed..alone...u can truly feel his loneliness...and he looked sooo amazing there!! I love the intense fawad , angry fawad,,,sad fawad 😳 😳

As for khirad...this is the episode where u feel her pain the most!! she just nails it to the T!! no words r enuff to talk abt the performance...

Also, 1 thing...when I saw the post leap shots...the first few shots..i thot asher sara have got married...I dunno why I felt like that..did anyone else feel that??? OR Is it my indian serials ka vamp wala dimaag which thot so.. 😆

the way asher n khirad react post the breakup shows the difference between a man n woman...
woman r emotionally always more strong and they find strength in their themselves..their children...
men find it much more difficult to cope with emotional losses..and that's what comes across here as well...
