exactly my thoughts kinj.. i understand why zaibu betrays him, but then they needed to show why she fell in love with him later.. she wanted to repent but then how did that develop into love > moreover, he repention was so much plastic, in a sense that it oozed self pity and taking Rohail's mother in confidence, for her repention was so easy if she would tell the whole truth to Rohail's mother, but she did not but chose to chant that i will serve Rohail my whole life, like W*F ? this pissed off his mother more that her son is the cruel beast and zaibu is the all bechari ..🤢🤢

Sarmad's direction was bad, and as i had said earlier, i was surprised to know that Ashk was directed by him because after humsafar expectations are always high.. anyway, but the drama isnt as bad as ppl make it out to be, its watchable especially for people who likes love, hate, betrayal and intensity

Kinj, if Bisma and Maryam knew something I would be able to get it out from them, don't worry 😆 They're all guessing randomly, in-fact Nida and me were the ones who said he's doing Maula Jutt months ago, these girls all tweeted about it much later. Fawad said Lashari's offered him a part, I'm guessing its the hero and not anti-hero because Hamza confirmed he's the villian. Also I was the one who mentioned that FK was playing the villain but then was told otherwise not Bisma or Maryam Kinj so blame me for spreading wrong info 😆

Exactly! She could have confessed about her mistake to his mom...and then taken her help to win him back.

As far as falling in love is concerned, she did like him and later she feels guilty which she is thinking off as love... The first few episodes of this show were the reason of failure... And the characters are inconsistent

Ashk's script and characters could have been so much better, I'd blame that more than the direction. I think the DOP work to that show is great.

Methinks that the writer or maybe the screenplay writer had to do much better... e.g.;

Mehru is shown to be such a mature and sensible girl.. would she not know the implications if she rejects a boy... she was insensitive! Moreover if there was such a big deal about the caste system, given her maturity she would not have confessed her love to Bilal.. did she not know the repercussions...???

Zebu is shown to be frivolous and immature in first 2 episodes... But she is infact quite sensitive and understands relationship... Her initial character portrayal was a bit over the top and hence we have problems later...

And there are so many others ... I will let it be! But I did enjoy some scenes and episodes

I actually didn't understand Mehru's character to begin with. She asks Rohail to reject her, but doesn't bother once to let her sister know. Zebu's stupidity came because of how possessive and protective she was of Mehru. Rohail ko beech main bakra banaya dono behnon ne..

I know and that was the biggest flaw... the inconsistency in Mehru's character... She is portrayed as a demi-goddess who is selfish..

I am yet to watch the ending... I hope they redeem the show a little bit

Also wonder why Rohail did not tell his mother about Mehru... Mom-Son are shown to share a special bond. Atleast he could have done this

Because of all this hiding business... MU galore and it became like one of our Indian soaps with mahaan hero and heroine
