As we all know that last Friday we have seen two different kinds of movies were released across the world namelyDaawat-E-Ishq' and ,Khoobsurat'.The most common thing about the both movies is that these are running at average pace and by this moderate speed, these would find itself in safe zone especially, Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan starrer Khoobsurat' which is the remake of Hrishikesh Mukherji,s movie with the same title.

It has got poor stars at domestic box office but overlapped the business of co-release Daawat-E-Ishq' in overseas market, and now it is having a decent score of Rs.11.54 crores in first weekend, which is termed as justified collection for a movie that has not any big star face value except Sonam Kapoor who went for extensive promotions before and after the release.

It is produced by UTV's Siddharth Roy Kapoor along with Rhea Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, the movie needs to make decent money, mainly for Sonam who's last movie "Bewakoofiyaan" did not fare well at the box office.

Its music has been composed bySneha Khanwalkar which given a live music and that helped it in a positive way as people have liked the songs like Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai' and Engine Ki Seeti' which warmly represent folk music, so all these pivotal points along with massive promotion that was being done by Sonam Kapoor, who is found to be the sole name for gaining public into the cinema houses.

It has grabbed a static figure of Rs.2.75 crores in first day which soared marginally on second day with Rs.3.74 crores, but Sunday came up with huge figure of Rs.5.05 crores, where it matched up with the performance of other movie.

1st Day :-Rs.2.75 Crores

2nd Day :-Rs.3.74 Crores

3rd Day :-Rs.5.05 Crores

1st Weekend :-Rs.11.54 Crores

Overseas Collection :-Rs.0.75 Crores

Total Worldwide Collection :-Rs.12.29 Crores

overseas collections r wrong, till sat KS' overseas collection was appr 6 crore so now its wwcollection is appr 18 cr so it has almost recovered its budget world wide n is yet to recover on domestic front.

exactly ! Thts Why i didnt believe it ! May be they got to know tht He reached Pak & they write on their as theres No quotting in article !
I rem once they made a wrong story on Sarmad ( director of HS) whn whole world knows tht he is working Sher e Zaat , They wrote he is doing shooting of a show "Bandhan" in which Fawad & Mahira r playing leads !

I have zero interest in what Sonam does post khoobsoorat. Glad she gets another offer from disney. But she needs to concentrate on her skills bit more.

And regarding Fawad, not much concerned too as he kn8ws his craft and does justice in whatever he chooses. Hope there is good news awaiting for him too.

Zoom headlines: This week 2 films got released Khoobsurat and Daawat-e-Ishq . While Khoobsurat made slow start , but is now doing a very good buisness . On the other hand Daawat-e-Ishq box office may thandi par chuki hai.

lol its a made up article,bechare FK ko bali ka bakra bana rahe hai infact .FK said in an IV on zoom before release that he is not even hoping that Ks will cross 40-50 cr, his minimum expectation from Ks is to cover budget with some profit. He said all this when reporter asked him if he thinks that ks will enter 100 cr club.
