His next project is with Mahira right...If its a movie than hope it gets a release here in India..Fawad is loved in India too so should hope good things for the future.

His next project is back home, when, how, whom still not clear. He likes it to keep it a secret. One thing I dislike , itni khamoshi uff.

We have to wait for a while to get any confirmation.

I did not expect any updates from him for at least a month ...He will go into Hibernation tonight.

You never know maybe he is changed he had to open up quite a bit here sometimes people change for the best when they work in different environments and mingle with diff people. So far he had worked only in Pakistan. Working outside with diff set of people always brings about a change in thoughts and attitude.

Fawad is back in Pakistan some pics posted in the last thread where he was talking to press at the airport in Karachi there is s special screening of Khoobsurat to be held there.

Last week's two big releases Daawat-e-Ishq and Khoobsurat created a lot of pre-release buzz. Even though the critics appreciated the films, their box office numbers depended on a good word of mouth. Both the films opened to an average occupancy on day 1 but as expected gained momentum over the weekend.

Khoobsurat witnessed a growth of 37% on Saturday and 30% on Sunday, which indicates that it had the audiences vote. And even though the film fared below average on the single screens, its solid hold over multiples made up for the loss.

On the other hand, Daawat-e-Ishq which had a better opening than the Sonam-Fawad starrer continued to woo the masses over the weekend as well. Though the numbers did not show any drastic change, the film was a tad bit ahead than Khoobsurat.

Accoding to ongoing trends, a lifetime total of around Rs. 25 to 35 crores nett looks realistic for both these big banner flicks.

The opening day and weekend collections of the films are as below...

Saturday -Rs. 3.74 crores approx
Sunday -Rs. 5.05 crores approx
Total domestic collection - 11.54 crores approx

Daawat-e-Ishq
Friday -Rs. 3.74 crores approx

Sunday -Rs. 5.25 crores approx
Total domestic collection - Rs. 13.86 crores approx

These figures are not inlciding Overseas/Pakistna...once including that i guess it will be safe to say collection is near 18Cr for 3 days - just guessing.

They are having almost 400- 500 more screens, but the net gain of ks is 5.o5 and dei is 5.53. Means less than 50 lqkhs margin. Are jise business samajh nahi ata, use bhi pata hai ki kaun kitna pani hai.
