Actually you can make out the confidence level from some of the blinds. FFF and DEI both had rumours that the producers didnt like the end product. DEI was hence postponed. There were rumours of a reshoot too. Both FFF and DEI picked up promotions at the last moment again which got people interested in them. But FFF's blinds turned out to be true. Non-fans who saw the movie said the director messed it up. Lets see for DEI.
About MK though everyone was going gaga over its promos and trailers I personally didnt find it appealing. It seemed to me all bluster with no substance. I instead found the Mardani trailers good...Mardani was dismissed in the forum btw. Raja Natwarlal and Creature3D had flop written all over them. I dont blame Humaima or Imran for doing them. It must have been the best they got. Both EH and Bips were cashing in on their image which failed badly.
Coming to KS I think everyone loved the first teaser which had the first kiss thing. But the trailer and initial 2 song promos took it down with too much focus on Sonam. Sonam doesnt have much of a fanbase due to too many flops. Plus many dislike her for her comments. I think Maa Ka Phone kinda got it back in the game followed by Naina. Then the promotions have been good. Atleast target audiences know that there is such a film releasing. But trade goes by initial trailers and due to that they might not expect much. KS guys also in the last two weeks have started focussing in FK-SK chemistry rather than Mili Madness which was needed. But having said all this KS hasnt had any rumours of dissatisfaction so far. SK and Rhea seem very confident of the film. They might have a good product. They certainly look more confident that Parineeti.
