Finished Watching Humsafar , loved the story . I liked it more when both are being seprated and after that no going back . Asher ,not coming out of his anger and feeling of being betrayed and Mihira Khan did great job when she was lonely and expecting the child . Her coming to Asher and his joy finding her daughter . Fawad Khan breathes life in to character . After that it was just roller coaster ride minus the plotting . Asher could not keep himself away from Khrad even her supposed betrayal , His hate and love were just the two sides of the coin . Sometimes while he was looking at her ,you just felt as if he just want to shake off that black dot on her character ,does not want to believe, love is still thee in his expressions,in his eyes . Last episodes were very moving and what i find appealing is that no shouting accusations , all was subtle . Khirad keeping her distance but her eyes spoke volumes . Ahser ,s last dialogues to his mother were blast where he was crying .
I can not blame Sara ,she was open about her feelings from the starting and she could have come out of this one sided love but Farida just kept on keeping her hopes alive . Her end has to be tragic the way she was shown . She totally lost .
As for Fawad Khan , he does not need to express his love in dialogues , Its thee the way he looks , his expressions and his eyes . Khirad quietness and her telling him how much she loves him was done so simply . One needs tissue box in last few scenes .
i loved ur synopsis ... feeling great that you loved the show..
This was arguably both Fawad and Mahira's best performance onscreen, and i do think it was. As u said the last few episodes, it was just terribly tragic, i did need a moment to hide my tears while i wtached them initially. the last 4 episodes are my favorite, the tormented Asher, the dignified Khirad, the rejected Asher, the satisfied khirad, these were the traits that define the beauty of thecharacters..
I loved how Asher was so helpless to make sara's life a good one, the way he asked for forgiveness from her, his supposed bestest and only childhood friend, his plea to her, it was really heartbreaking. my most fav scene of Asher and sara indeed.. and that was the only moment i felt pity for sara too..
Asher's turmoil and then his justifying himself of wanting khirad back in his life, ohh boy how terrific was Fawad Afzal Khan in that scene ... i loved how khirad even did not give any explanation and was firm at her decision, i love how despite the supposed betrayal from both ends , both Asher and khirad consider each other as the bets parents for hareem, they respect each other as hareem's fatther and mother, which is indeed very beautiful..
Lastly, Farida and Asher's confrontation, a brilliant one, the actors were too good, and every dialogue from Asher does hit the right chord. I loved the one " biwi tou dhoka deti hai lekin maa tou dhoka nahi diya karti " , it was heartbreaking and torturous to see the divine bond of a mother and her child reach that stage ... its sad how both Ahser's parents were hypocrites and selfish to core, they probably produced Asher to fulfill whatever so called dreams they had ..
Star of the show was definitely Fawad, he never fails at it but i must say Mahira was excellent too, i do see a lot of people complain about her performance here, but she was natural and spontaneous as khirad, otherwise how can a character become iconic unless the actress gives her 100% ? . having said that, the chemistry between these two were magic, enuff said ..
