Its a year old but pretty insightful. She has mentioned in the article that she was supposed to work with Fawad (in the show Bin Roye Aansu). But unfortunately this did not work together. He did not take up the show because he was having some health issues. He cannot take up too much work at a time.

Humsafar episode 4 review: Fawad Khan aka Asher is reluctant to accept his wife?

There's no doubt in collective minds that ladies are getting more pleased with each passing day (and with every passing episode) for Fawad Khan is getting more visible and even more charming in the widely-acclaimed television series Humsafar.The latest episode saw Sera coming to terms with the fact that her childhood friend can not possibly become her life-partner. Recovering from the shock that Asher has signed the nuptial documents (Nikah) with Khirad, Sera confesses to Asher that she will continue to be his friend regardless of the circumstances.

Later in the episode Basheer and his wife, Asher's mother, discuss with Asher that he should start his new life now with Khirad. Asher looks reluctant but promises that he will try his best to adapt himself and make an effort to make Khirad happy. Asher's mother also requests him to make the newly-wed Khirad wear the khandani chudiyaan. Though Asher tries to break the ice between him and Khirad, he chooses to hand over the bangles.

Asher is shown to be responsible and a person of integrity who respects the relations . When his father tells him that you give Khirad the love and respect which this relationship demands . and he nods his head . And i liked him when he tells Khirad that both ofthem are strangers to each other despite being the first cousins and promises her that he will try to make the relationship work . The way he makes her comfortable and tries to ease her . Even when watching TV , he tries to converse with her , he extends his hand . His expressions when asks her if she will like to have coffee then looks at her still sitting then pauses and ask her to bring . This guy is really brilliant his every changing expressions , turning his head and looking at her . There are just a moment when both are reading at different places and he has little croked smile and asks her how id the magzine and khira tells him good , then he tells her that she is holding upside down .

he most interesting point arrives when Fareeda tells Khirad that henceforth she should start considering Asher's mother as her own mother. This sub-plot looked very progressive and mature in terms of character portrayal and situational drama. Suddenly, Humsafrar has taken a far more progressive twist that looks as realistic as it it is endearing

Frida just changes the equation when she tells Khirad to call her mother and very lovingly tells her that its her house now . Humsafat is mature story . Khirad might be young and there is difference of age between Asher and Khirad , still she is quite mature and is with self respect .
Sara is obsessed with Asher ,s love and it comes into open when talking to her mother . There was some kind of craziness in her eyes . Zarina again told her that Asher is married and do not encourage him . So here i find Zarina to be more at fault at the later stage where Sara reached . She knows her intentions and seen her being mad about Asher . Perhaps if she had talked to Asher this time seprately how Sara feels for him and what she think of Khirad . Every relationship needs space whether its the friendship . But later on Asher was not opening up to Sara .when he fall in love with Khirad .

Humsafar also has minute small moments where you can feel the emotions and specially the love .
Shweta i met some one yesterday and was surprised that people are liking the Zindgi channel shows and praising the simplicity , no garish makeup and sets and no trash in the name of love
Fawad is getting popularity now as Asher . Never seen this kind of effect where from youngsters to oldsters are appreciating FK and Mihira Khan who just appears to be without mud pack.

Kuirad has heard him talking to his friend when she was going to meet Asher about this marriage thing . It was not about inferior but listening to him , she became quite and Asher,s conversation with his friend was the main reason where she was keeping her distance with him . She did not know him . For he might be only acting . So think from Khirad,s point of view . And i Loved Asher where he genuinely trying to make her comfortable and ease her .

thats what their character differences were, Asher will compel and try with a dead body like sara, being blamed and insulted, he still keeps trying with them, even he tried to get back khirad, leaving his ego and self respect behind, but Khirad was not emotional and also no nonsense woman. She was precise in her approach, level headed, and not emotional to an extreme level like Asher.

Khirad was self respecting girl there is no doubt about that but i felt bad for Asher also . He believed what he saw and heard and how could he not believe his mother when Farida was treating Khirad as a daughter v. This game was played all of a sudden which Farida was giving shape for some time . And Asher was in shock , Khijar was talking about the age difference and all nonsense . And when he reaches home and tells his mother that he wants to talk to khirad and you will not interfere then his mother tells him that she left with Khija and that was breaking point for him . And then he had nervous breakdown and was in the hospital . Asher felt he was cheated and betrayed by Khirad and then hatred took the place in his heart but Still Khirad did not leave her presence as she was the part of his existence . If he wanted he could have married Sara but he was then creating distance between both and had bottled up ,even not talking to his mother about all this . Asher was also a victim . How can he could have imagined that his own mother will sunk so low and it was again a blow to him . Asher himself was going through the pain . When he was sitting on the stairs and talking to himself that how her hatred can be more than me ? He was puzzled with Khirad,s behavior and could read her indifference towards him . He could not be blamed when he was given impression that Khirad is with Khizar . Both were victims of dirty game .

Beautifully made show and ending few episodes took the cake and are mine . favorite .Mahira Khan is very beautiful and she looks more with tied hair and specially in the last episodes , her simple look .

@bold I so agree with that. Fareeda was treating her like daughter .u know even Baseerat believed it despite knowing how much she was against of that marriage.even Khirad was shocked. Then all convo at asher's home cleared her doubts. By no mean man like Asher was going to doubt her mother without proof. N as far as not believing khirad he was actually the victim. His mother n khizar did everything to make it look that khirad n khizar were getting friendly n close. Plus after nervous breakdown he thought that hois illness will cause khirad 2 come back but this didnt happen n then his pain took form of ignorance n hatred towards khirad.
