Harshu, let me just say Wali plays a very intense, dark, mysterious character. Its grey,to say the least.
The story is based on the Feudal lords and how they manipulate all their subordinates. Wali is the grandson of the fuedal,Sikander Bakht. Though he has been an obedient grandson,he has a few apprehensions about the whole feudal system. The very system which has manipulated his life and his relationships,in ways more than one.
What will interest you his how his character unfolds with each episode. His relationships and emotions are confusing even to him. The story is his journey of finding his stand in all of this mess. Does he stand upto what he thinks is right? Will he go against his own grandfather? Will he understand what he feels towards Mahjabeen-his wife through the "Vani"? Will Neelam-his newly wed wife ever understand what kind of relationship Majhabeen and Wali share?
High points :
-Fawad's portrayal of Wali. This gloomy, quiet, serious guy has more to him. and you will know this with each episode, there is something more to him. Fawad was brilliant as Wali.
-Wali and Mahjabeen scenes : these scenes will grip uou like no other. The intensity in this scene is outta the world. The Do they-dont they factor work so well for them. Ahhh,i cnat tell you how much I loved their scenes <3
-Wali and his grandfather's equation-FK and usman saahab scenes weer brilliant. You will enjoy watching how this relationship evolves with each episode
-The cinematogaphy-beautifully shot locations. ANd rare camera angles with some clasy lighting.
-The OST-mumkin hai..beautiful song. You'll be hooked to this song,I tell you.
P.S : I know u must be wondering what Vani is. Just google it. But dont read the reviews of Numm in any site. 😆 They've given a gross idea of what it really is,to say the least.
Its the age factor between Mahjabeen and Wali which has been blown out of proportion. Trust me,just look at it as a story between an older lady and a younger guy. That's it. Dont believe the reviews.
