26 episodes , 26 days and infinite moments we will cherish forever. It seems like an era has got over...but it is the sweet tale of ZaShaf that has been engraved in our hearts forever.
Zaroon Junaid the heartthrob of the college, impulsive, slightly conservative and a hopeless romantic at heart in certain senses. It wouldn't be wrong to say that he was an arrogant, chauvinistic, rich brat who wasn't much spoilt at heart initially. It is his flaws, his imperfections which make each one of us fall for him. He may not be the most likable character for some but well for many it is. All thanks to the writers and the beautiful portrayal by FAK. It is easy to fall for this guy. He is all in one---good-looking awesome actor who brought life to the character of Zaroon Junaid. It is his portrayal which many a times justifies Zaroon's stupidities to such an extent that today almost all of us want an imperfect yet endearing hubby like Zaroon rather than a perfect Raj of DDLJ.Coming to Kashaf Murtuza, all that will be said would seem less. She is not the easiest characters to understand but, so close to reality that you keep falling for her every single time she comes on screen. Her hardships, and her survival, her failures and her desires make you shed a tear and curse Murtuza. It is her success in the end which make you thank God for having given a girl like her so much FINALLY coz we all think she deserves it. Her negativity and pessimism make us realize how we should be thankful to God for all that we have got. Kashaf represent's women empowerment as once Sanam saeed said herslef. She is the girl which each one of us should aspire to be in terms of hard-work and sincerity.Kareena Kapoor Khan said in one interview that Geet is lovable, lively and chirpy but she doesn't exist in real life. And that is so true. If there is someone who exists then it is Kashaf Murtuza., the lady with flaws who may not be perfect but knows how to survive on her own terms and conditions.
And then comes ZaShaf.
Well what should I say? not even in my dreams had i THOUGHT THAT i would fall for a love-story other than the typical Gul Khan love story any time soon. The guy doesn't walk around with a brooding face 24x7, the girl doesn't go on talking in your face all the time and well the famous eye locks and pinning in the wall moments are't there.
But there are those moments which make you rise in love with these two. Their proper love story begins after their wedding which makes you believe in this sacred relation all love again.
Zaroon's reason for wedding with Kashaf ONLY makes you rethink if, he is the guy who had said stuff about middle-class girls in the library that day. His reason is so beautiful."She has character of strength." that I feel like going around and trying t find a guy who can say similar stuff about me.
Their wedding, vows, promises, fights, romance makes one wonder of they would be lucky enough to experience such things in this pure and transparent a relation or not?
ZaShaf's relation is not a perfect one, ideal one but these two complete each other. their love , trust and respect makes this relation work like no other. It is the unsaid little things they do for each other that makes all the difference.
Zaroon sleeping in an A/C less room, not bickering over a sop and power cut make Kashaf fall for him bit-by-bit. Kashaf's ability to tuck a button, making food for him herself, cleaning room and washroom before servants makes Zaroon proud of his own decision .
their love story is not another Romeo Juliet but it certainly is the first Zaroon and Kashaf----ZaShaf , the one we all love and desire to have.
