It's on wiki that Nurpur ki Rani is based on Rebecca where the naive new bride tries to follow the example of the guy's first wife. The hero will be older :S

Maat seems to be very mirch masala oriented. Doesn't look like the kind of drama with much subtlety. It might be more favourite with ppl who like dramatic shows.

To summarize Maat in one sentence will be "victimized FL getting justice at the end"...well...in a way...

It deals with quite a serious plot... don't expect much light moment/comedy/romance etc... so no comparison to ZGH as it's a completely different genre...but in terms of performances it's surely worth a watch 👍🏼

Maat is wayyy more than a love triangle. It's the story of two sisters that are poles apart. It was one of the top most rated shows of 2012. It used to air alongside Humsafar and gave that show some tough ass competition which was wonderful because Humsafar was a love story..meanwhile, Maat was more about two females..and the actresses involved - Saba Qamar and Aamina Sheikh carried the entire show on their shoulders. The male lead of the show was hardly ever acknowledged. Maat was always about Saba and Aamina and people always remember that show for them. I would highly recommend it...The performances are awesome..Saba and Aamina are two of the best actresses we have in Pakistan. If you guys love Sanam Saeed..then the former two are even better. The writer is the same as ZGH. However, there isn't much romance in that show.

The only downside to Maat was that the pace gets slow in the middle.

As far as Maat is concerned I just loved the last epi that was just worth it rest of the show was predictable and ermmm

agree. Well said. Maat was amazing nd loved the acting of saba nd amina.
