ZGH : Hats Off

I do not remember when i saw a show with substance and insight in to real life . Its beautifully executed story with meaningful dialogues with no crap . Its just as if you are peeping in some middle class family where father is almost non-existent and mother took the responsibilities of her daughters and brought them up with dignity and values . So many people we can see around us and Kashaf Kind of daughters who become the son of the family . What a determination and strong will ,with no tears to show others . Inner turmoil , pain ,where father gives a damn ,but face the world with dignity . Its family environment where you are grown up and values from your parents . All three sisters got their mother,s values and dignity . Very simple dialogues , not over the top .
Like Jaroon,s character also , he may be flirt but on serious note he knows what he wants from his life and is quite sensible . I am hooked to Zindgi,s all four shows and next i like is Kaash main Teri beti and others . No difference here and there just a line . People are same with customs , values , traditions .

ZGH is a beauty I itself with simple characters it unfolds and opens up stories even though unsaid but not unreal. Zaroon and Kashaf hold the story together like a web----a web of unsatisfied lives, web of complexities and difficulties. All the characters are written and carried off with ease and a finishing I am yet to see in any Indian show. Each character holds it's own importance and that is the beauty. It is real and young in it's own way---heart felt and heart-warming.

I have seen 4-5 shows decades ago , Tanhaiyana and all of that time . Yes comlexities are there but with reasons and any sensible , mature person will think the Kashaf way . Agree every character has its own place . Got bored with Hindi shows except Tumhari Paakhi , and was watching Englis one but Zindgi came as fresh air and like all its shows . ZGH is not just love story it has so many issues and tackling with maturity .

same here...I certainly don't blame Kashaf...the conditions she has lived in...rather just survived it will be difficult for her to be positive and see life with a different out look...and the best part is that it is not primarily a love story with dupattas flowing...though I wouldn't mind that as well...having seen so many rom-coms on TV off late I am just done with them...ZGH is a mix of maturity, problems and believe in God...love story being apart of all these...and that is the BEAUTY and TRUE ESSENCE of this show

I would not mind Dupatta flowing but here its all very subtle and i think Kashagf has believe in herself , yes she complains to God but takes the step to tackle the situation head on .

You will find Kashaf kind of gir in many middle class families . characters are from real world and so are the dialogues .

lovely post dear,exactly my thoughts.every character be it kashaf, zarron, rafia, sidra touches your heart.and totaly agree with you that kashaf is 'male' of the family taking the responsibility.she and her sisters get all the values from their mother.on the other side zarron can be a flirt but he want a life ,with a partner who share his life , his thoughts with her.

Beautiful post & I totally agree with you. ZGH is a beautiful show with enticing storyline. What I'm loving most about it that not one single scene is either unnecessary or dragged. Every scene has it's own perfect place in the smoothly flowing story. All the characters are beautifully sketched, enacted...dialogs are killer...so natural yet meaningful.
