It seems that this year 'Zara Nachke Dikha's boy's team is going under a very stressful condition and one after the other they are falling prey to some or the other accident and are falling ill. It started with Sushant Singh Rajput who got injured and had eventually had to be hospitalized, He was followed by Aamir Ali who suffered chest pain, and now even one of the Mastkalandar boys, Karan Kundra has fallen prey to an accident on the set.

In a recent conversation with TellyCafe, Karan says, "I was just doing time-pass and was experimenting with some more stunts and good steps that I'd thought about. I had some free time on the sets but while doing those stunts my whole body weight came on my one poor little thumb. I have fractured it, and now I am concerned about the team. Our two contestants are down."

"So, for that I am resting at my place and not rehearsing for the shoot and will directly give the technical and final shoot for the show. Hope this spate of injuries stops as soon as possible," sign off Karan.

War of drama queens scorches the small screen

SHILPA Shetty and Rakhi Sawant, Bollywood's biggest drama queens who have mastered the art of hogging the limelight for no reason, have found a platform for catfight on reality TV. On the new Star Plus show, Zara Nach Ke Dikha, Shilpa and Rakhi have bared their claws right from the start, setting the stage for plenty of scripted fights to come.

Shilpa, who is a judge on the dance show, has been giving a cold shoulder to Rakhi, a contestant. In the latest episode, aired on Saturday, which was a Mother's Day special, Shilpa's reaction after Rakhi performance clearly showed that she doesn't want to encourage any staged drama on the part of Rakhi.

"It was an average performance," Shilpa said after Rakhi performed to the beats of the mehbooba mehbooba number from film Sholay, along with her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi. For the record, the episode marked Rakhi's reunion with Abhishek after she had very publicly broken ties with him.

True to form, Rakhi tried to cash in on the reunion drama. She started to apologise to Abhishek's mother, who was also present on the show. Shilpa looked on impatiently, waiting for the drama to get over. The catfight between the two started in the early rounds when Shilpa, after a dance by Rakhi, said her performance was far from the quality one would expect from an item bomb. Never the one to take things lying down, Rakhi promptly retorted that she was the Amitabh Bachchan of television. Rakhi's dig was obvious.

Despite having made it big, Shilpa has never really been a top star. It didn't end there. The item girl went on to declared: "Even Sachin Tendulkar is out on zero at times." Shilpa was clearly stumped, but her co-judge Arshad Warsi came to her rescue. "When Sachin scores a zero, he is credited zero runs on the scoreboard too. You should keep that in mind," he told Rakhi.

The catfight has shifted focus from what the show is meant to be - a battle of sexes between male celebrities (known in the contest as Mastkalandar) and their female counterparts (Massakali). Shilpa is clearly in the mood to cut a strict picture as a judge on the show. This is in sync with her of-late bid to project herself as a woman of substance.

Onlookers feel Shilpa's strict image on Zara Nachke Dikha is because she wants to stop Rakhi from hogging the limelight. A source in the production unit of the show said: "Shilpa is generally friendly with the contestants. She is seen interacting with most of them. But with Rakhi, she maintains a distance. Nobody has ever seen the two getting frendly." The battle of the bombshells has just begun!

The item queen had to meet the expectations of the judges to save her chances of elimination. She did perform, but was upset with the comments she got from the judges .

A source reveals, "Last week the boys' team had tagged Mukti Mohan, another strong contestant from the girls' team, which didn't go down well with Rakhi Sawant. She later decided to tag herself. So this week, she was needed to perform to save herself on the show. She danced to the popular number Kajra re (originally performed by Aishwarya Rai in the film, Bunty Aur Babli). But the judges weren't upbeat about her performance. They told her that they expect a lot more than this from the item diva of the nation and that it was a mediocre act from her."

"Rakhi sulked over this decision and said she was confused as to what the judges were looking for. They never seem to be satisfied with the performance of the girls' camp, Massakalis. She added that the judges have been finding faults either in the choice of songs or the choreography of the girls' gang. She even accused her teammates of having isolated her. Rakhi also claimed that the girls make major decisions without keeping her in the loop."

Aksshat's attempt to do a Gondhal dance will leave you speechless while get ready for a new Sangita who will take a stab at a very strenuous Naga dance.

Dancing With Karan Kundra

Television actor cum businessman Karan Kundra who is a non-dancer is now testing his dancing skills on the dancing floor of STAR Plus' new show Zara Nachke Dikha. So to get more about his dancing passion, we spoke to Karan Kundra...

Which is your favorite dance form?
I think it has to be Bhangda, the dance of Punjab as this dance form is full of energy and while performing, it's more fun and this dance form makes you feel very happy if you are distressed, but at the same it requires lot more strength to get the perfect steps. It will be great if I had to perform Bhangda in the show.

Your favorite song in the recent times?
It has to be a song from Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya starrer Raavan called Beera Beera, it's an amazing song, even in this song there is lot of energy and I love A.R.Rahman songs and fast music makes a non-dancer like me, a dancer.

Which songs would you love to dance on?
"I would dance on Punjabi if I am doing a solo performance and if I am doing a duet song then it has to be all Aatif Aslam's songs, basically I love romantic and sensual songs then I also I love to dance on all the old 50's 60's songs of Dev Anand as there are so many good songs from Guide and my list wont stop at this...

Which dance forms you would like to learn?
I think its Rumba dance form and I want to learn all dance styles both Indian folk and western dance forms like Salsa, Jazz and many others.

How does dancing help you to keep fit?
Dancing really keeps everyone fit and its a personal experience that dancing se patle ho jaate hain because of the steps and there is a lot of stretching which we have to do and I think I will be fit by the end of this show.

Who is your dancing icon?
"I am not a dancer, I am an actor so I will have an acting icon and not a dancing icon and I am my own icon…

Among the TV actors, who is your favorite dancer?
Overall in the industry, I think Hussain –Tina are fabulous dancers and they have proved that by winning Nach Baliye, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sangita Ghosh, then its Sushant Singh Rajput and Kritika is also a very cute dancer.

Kapil Nirmal joins the ZND gang today

Kapil, who was eliminated from the show in the very first episode, is coming back on the show.

It seems like Kapil Nirmal was destined to be a part of Zara Nachke Dikha. Initially Karan Singh Grover was approached by the channel but since he was not available, Nirmal joined in. But this was a last minute decision which led to a lot of problems and eventually Kapil's elimination. But now Kapil is back again on the show and all he has to say is, "It was just the game plan of the girls to demoralize the boys. But now I'm back with the gang and I will show the girls how good I am at dancing." Kapil had done an introductory act with Rashmi Desai. The girls had apparently taken the decision to eliminate Kapil on the grounds that he wasn't a good dancer. They also said that Kapil had joined so late and had not rehearsed as much as the others, he had not worked as hard as the others and it would be really unfair if someone else left the show and Kapil remained. But as said earlier, it was destined. Sushant Singh Rajput could no longer be a part of the show due to his health and Kapil was called back in. The boy's team welcomed Kapil but is also sad about Sushant not being with them.
