Hello fellow ZNKD forum members!

Today after watching ZNKD a thought crossed my mind and just wanted to put it up here. When the promos were shown and Bhaktyar was shown crying and the judges condeming the guys, everybody was quick to jump to the conclusion that it was due to Bhaktyar and that he has attitude, he cannot take defeat gracefully. How everyone was ready to blame the man. But the reality turned out to be that he did his level best and failed and didnt make any racket about it. It was a team decision apparently it seems by the men and I saw Gaurav saying we will not dance or I will not come to the floor or something of that sort and well the men did say there was zero motivation to dance. They did not question the judge's judgement but were too demotivated and defeated thanks to the strategy of betting too many points that they just didnt dance. While it is not justifiable and is not sporting or the right thing to do, I guess they were just too demotivated and knew the ladies had won and just wanted to leave cos they were disappointed.
But one thing is fascinating how ppl were so ready to point fingers at Bhaktiyar and blame his and his attitude and his "over confidence" for everything. What about the other members of the team. Bhaktiyar is the best dancer in the team and he did do his best and stood in for Chaitanya. Really nice to see him being such a loyal friend too. The protest or whatever was done by all the members too demotivated that Bhaktiyar cudnt do it for them. Kudos to Saroj Khan for pointing that out.
Only goes to show how if someone is known to be "over confident" or has "attitude", people just jump to conclusions and blame him for everything that goes wrong without actually knowing what happened. Prejudice, stereotyping, misconceptions are so dangerous. If a man is typecast in a particular mould, heaven help him, esp with the public. Speaks a lot for maintaining a facade and being adorable and polictically correct and doing the right thing and not speaking ones mind, no matter what goes on behind the scenes. It is after all all about appearances, esp on "reality" shows, that sells and wins one brownie points, the truth be damned.

well said...i was thinking the same..when i read all the topics against bakhtiyar i just wanted to wait and watch.. iwas actually impressed that he kept shut inspite of two judgements against his superb attempts...besides if you noticed the girls told him not to react like delnaz and rupali..they didnt look too happy with saroj khan;s reaction either..i think she was a little too rude..i mean she was here just today and ended up calling bakhtiyar's performance ghatiya..it wasnt expected from someone of her satnding in the field..all said and done i am happy with bakhtiyar today...he danced like a man...and his sarcastic smile after the face off round reflected so much insult and anguish

i agreeeeeeee....bhaktiyar seems to be blamed for everythinggg..u wrote it sooo well..i wish i was tht good with words..but yes...to me he seems like a terrific dancer, an awesome frnd, and a very respectful guy...he took everythingg tht saroj khan said..and called his dance ghatiya..mallaika aimed all her comments rite at bhaktiyar..and he just stood there silent...his expressions said it all..he felt insulted big time..its rly sad tht he lost all the 3 rounds he performed in..anyone wld be disheartened after tht..its not abt his ability to accept defeat..its abt getting wht he deserves..which he nvr has in this show..kudos to u bhaktiyar..u did ur best today..and u def did win over a lot of ppl..

ps..i love the relationship bhaktiyar and chaitanya share..its just soooo adorablee

I must admit I was one of those who said it must have been because of what he said and the judges yelled at him so thats why he was crying based on the promos I saw.

He's not my favorite from the show. Far from it. I never thought he was a great dancer, and I still dont think he's that great of a dancer. I always feel he's very heavy on his feet. When dancing, you need to make sure your are "flowing" and not so heavy. Just see Hrithik Roshan or Ranbir Kapoor or to closer to home, Chaitanya, Gaurav or Vikas. Though, Bhaktyar is a better dancer then Gaurav and Vikas. I have said it many times, I didn't know anyone apart from Karan when I first watched this show and I became a fan of the girls team because of their performances. From the girls side, I found Mouni to be the best and from the boys side I found Chaitanya to be the best. Bhakthyar is the second best from the boys team in my opinion but I still wasn't a fan of his because of his attitude. Confidence in yourself is a really great trait. If you dont have confidence in yourself then you wont be able to do anything but over confidence, like over anything is harmful. He is self obsessed and we saw today that before his even first dance with that video. Also he thinks he can beat anyone and when he doesnt, get proper shocked. I dont like it when people put others down to make themselves look better.

Coming to today's episode, I for the first time ever, enjoyed his first performance. I thought it was really good. Yes the steps he has done before but he was really good but so was Karishma. When Karishma won, the look on his face was of pure shocked like he was not expecting this at all. Never get so wrapped up in yourself esp. when your in a competition. Taking Mouni's words, you'll never know what will happen in those 2 minutes your on stage. Be prepared for everything.

In HumTum round, the girls were flawlessly perfect. They were flawless and the boys dont even come near. Once again when the girls won, Batkhyar was being nothing but disresepectful whis motions to the girls. Come on! Were you really expecting to win this round??? Oh wait, ya Mouni was in the dance and she's the weakest I forgot. Give me a break.

HumTum, apart from Vikas and Rupali where Vikas was better, from the other two, Jenny and Mouni were much much much better and the girls should have won this round but they didnt. They took it sportingly. The only reason Jenny was crying was because she was called the weakest link and still she didn't argue with the judges or anything, and the girls were still giggling announcing the scores that the boys have won 300 points. They were happy for the boys.

Now, again dont be so over confident in yourself that you forget your in a competition. Ashita was much much much better in the Face Off round. Now maybe if it was Chaitanya, it would have been different as Chaitanya is a fantastic dancer. But Ashita won this round fair and square. As for Bakthyar, he did three rounds that day. Why? Why couldn't he send someone else? If his team wanted him, couldn't he tell his team he would be too tired too perform AGAIN and maybe following his own team's motto "Give everyone a chance to dance since this game is about 8 people and not one person"? Why? Because he was too confident that he would be much much much better and when he wasn't, what does he do? He walks off. That's pure disrespectful to not only the judges and the girls esp. Ashita but to his own team, his own hardwork and to Chaitanya who he was doing this for.

I did feel bad for him when he was crying for Chaitanya which I thought was very sweet but that still doesnt make him any less of an ignorant, over confident person. In the boys Pre-Finale, the girls were doing a skit about how every decision depends on "Baku".....the boys proved today that the girls were right.

I was really really sorry for Bakthyar when he lost the first round, and I was almost liking him when he was crying to Chaitanya BUT walking off like that, made me lose any ounce of respect I had for him, Ali and the rest of the team. Now I only feel sorry for poor Amay.

bakhtiyar is a very straight forward person n he is not over confident often ppl feel bad of what is said to them but they dunt say nything against that only a few can speak their mind like bakhtiyar n i dunt think thats wrong there is freedom of speech a person can say nythin if he feels that injustice was done to him n as far as his dancing is concerned i dont think ny 1 will say that he doesnt dance well just imagine that u dance so well n than da verdict that u have lost is da worse thing to happen n i srongly feel that da judges decision was wrong n as he said he isnt rude but ppl assume he is that ,like he said for narayani that she isnt rude they r just straight forward ppl n da judges themselves agreed that bakhtiyar is a fab dancer.

Whoa! That's harsh! Just because you dont agree with her doesnt mean she doesnt know "shit". She has been in this industry for longer then some of us have been alive.

There is a difference between being straight-forward and rude. Narayani is straight-forward, not rude. Gaurav is straight-forward but not rude. Some people use their honesty to be as rude as they like and they say "we are straight-forward!" It doesnt work like that and thats the case with Bakthyar.

Please no matter what you say, it would not justify what the boys did at the end of today's episode. They lost, yes, but if only they took it with more dignity.

Time and again I been saying since the show started, JUDGES are to be blamed, they don't know what they are looking at when they are watching the performances, Since Day one, Boys are doing Western (according to many of you out here), BUT, their western always had something out of the box, but judges didn't like it cuz, boys would lack in expressions, lip sync and grace, ok,

Girls on the other hand, majority of their performances were INDIAN, and rest of the performances even if it was Popping and Locking, or bhangra it always had that bollywood twist added and they looked perfect and judges loved it cuz they expressed, synced it and all.

now coming to today's situation, Give the fact that often times i have see Baktyar with attitude and anger, but not everyone is same, If i was in his position i would have done worse, because when you as a dancer know what you are doing and how much effort you are putting at the end, judges don't judge the performance the way it is suppose to be and be biased it is so wrong.

Now let me tell you something, Till Date Both Mallika and Chunky didn't do justice to the show and to that judge's seats. they had to call Saroj Khan (well, she is my favorite but her style of dancing is bit old) Why did they call saroj khan if Malika and Chunky was there.? and why they had to call Saroj Khan at the last epi. cuz they knew that if someone who knows Dance isn't there, there would be fire and fireworks. Now they could say that they had Saroj Khan as Judge and her decision is final and she is the best so be it. Cuz we all know and have seen Malika and Chunky judge. and if they really wanted a fair and square game, why didn't they introduce Saroj Khan from beginning?

well, I support Baktyar as a person, but What the Team in general have done wasn't right. they could have performed and then protested, but again they have been protesting for long time, but it always fell into deaf ears.

Thank you for all your responses, made very interesting read. While I do not support or like the way the boys took their defeat without sporting spirit and refused to perform the last round, all I wanted to say is the way Bhaktiyar is so readily misunderstood and blamed for everything. If someone has attitude, then it is sad to see the amount of flak he takes even if he hasnt done anything much just like that. I dont comment on the dance cos I am not a dancer myself and it would be unfair but I did like Bhaktiyar's performance in the first round better than Karishma's. If they boys had been wiser with their bets perhaps they would have won if they could get their group act together. It seemed a lil like Malaika was out to humble Bhaktiyar somewhere. All said and done it is a game and someone has to lose.

They called Saroj to make it more interesting. What rubbish that they only called her cause Malika and Chunky dont know what they are doing? Please.
