agreed.

this is way to complex for the ones used to their daily dosage of meaningless saas bahu type shows with the usual rona dona, OTT fake drama, crap thats dished out with monotonous regularity

I kinda agree with the report that the first episode was quite confusing, but now it's all starting to come together and when I went back and watched the first episode again I realized what had actually happened.

Though I agree that more likely than not the low TRPs are because this isn't your regular run-of-the-mill, done-a-million times to death saas-bahu show.

First of all, time slot - it is quite late at night and runs for an hour, and there are no repeat telecasts to catch up with. So obviously only those who religiously follow it can get the story.
If this is no match to the saas-bahu soaps, then it only shows the standard of the trp audiences.😕
While the regular ones are like artificial jewellery with all the chamak dhamak to cover up the deficiencies, Yudh is uncut unpolished diamond. As the episodes, move, we will see the cuttings and the glow.😃

I like the idea of a finite series. keeps things moving so theres no time for meaningless dragging
maybe all shows should be like that😉

It's really becoming a more common thing now. I'm watching 4 shows that are like that: Yudh, Main Naa Bhoolungi, Ek Hasina Thi, and Laut Aao Trisha.

As a viewer I love the show and I think for a finite series show TRPs do not matter that much...as they need not change the original script to make it go on for longer...
It is a breath of fresh air after a long time!

Every artiste has done a great job and the story itself is different dealing with various issues woven together in the narrative.

Trps don't matter to me. I like watching the show as it has a fresh concept rather than the Saas Bahu shows.
Go go yudh!

The forum itself is a reflection of why Yudh cannot be a big hit. The major contributors to serials during week days are the teen agers and the housewives. As most working men and women after coming back either catches up with news or pass their time on internet.

In the forum you would see so many ATs for the TV stars and passionate following of SB type serials. The trend is so high that they make even historical full of drama, love story and kitchen politics by at times even twisting the historical facts.
