The 4th episode, about which I shall post tomorrow, was a humdinger, a full on murder mystery with Yudh, unwittingly, cast as the deus ex machina of the killing, though not the perpetrator. And I am afraid that, as happens all the time with me, you are far out re: Nikhil and Mamta. It is closer to my take, though not quite.
Amitabh was fabulous last night, at his old explosive best. And everyone else as well. There so many unexpected little vignettes - Anand's autistic son, Mona's sister, whose husband has vanished a year ago- which have nothing immediately to do with the main narrative, but who knows?
Do see my responses to AreYaar and to Rashmi above; they will interest you.
Only 4 weeks and 16 episodes more; and then I shall surely have withdrawal sympto😉ms!

Aunty, another great one from you 👏
The one thing I liked the most from yesterday was the pace of story telling. It has, as I imagined and hoped it would, picked up speed and is sure to pick up more as the story progresses. This is good because of the fact that while the first two episodes were filled with intricate and complex situations and characters, it still was a little slow. But I liked the third episode better😃
The characters are slowly setting into their groove. Yudh's need to clear Shanti constructions name is being all imperative to him and I loved Anand telling him that when they had waited so many years to build the reputation, they should have patience to wait a few more hours to clear the dirt thrown at their faces👏 Great dialogues⭐️
The dirt is gonna get dirtier still with the investigation throwing up Yudh directly into the mess. How will he react to this is yet to be seen. It is also great to see Anand and Yudh work as a team with such mutual respect and care. Especially Anand comes across as someone who is loyal to the core, that brand of loyalty one saw in days of past when the trust and faith was complete in one's employer. I am waiting to see more unfold in this relationship.
Poor Rishi is a kid with a big heart and no mind for business. I can see him as the 'modern' day youth, who tweets and finds himself/herself handicapped in the absence of a cell phone tower😆, somebody who jokes about important issues like the naxal problem but yet is perspective which surprises the onlooker. Rishi's character will be proved when he faces a real challenge, which I think may be when he gets kidnapped. But that is for another day to discuss.
Nayanthara's health issues seem to have started up from something though I think I missed what but she has a good relationship with her husband. The usual banter when he came home was kinda soothing to see in the otherwise gripping episode.
What a chalak her brother turned out to be😲😕. The man begging her just the day before now wants to extract revenge. His own justification of why he wants revenge is as twisted as his outlook. Rishi seems to be in danger doubly over.
Malik, his wife and Nikhil's tale is still grey. I do not think Nikhil is trying to frame Malik because of his love for Mamta, though he surely cares for her. I have a feeling his motivations are elsewhere and Mamta is only a means to an end. Where this tale will go, one cannot predict but I think this is just more than the usual suspects😉
