well... there goes any hope for karvi/sonkush 🤢
and here we all are waiting for karvi to get back together 🤣 (sorry, I had to use this emoji- with all the drama from the sets- it just sounds like they need to end this already- it will save us from getting further attached to karvi)

very, very disappointed in ankush... using "foul and abusive language"- that is beyond unacceptable behavior 👎🏼

sonal- standing up for herself 👍🏼

I have a feeling this is true. Saw Sonal's insta page, and a recent photo she posted of her and ankush was deleted recently...

I really hope sonkush figure out a way to work this out and gain back whatever trust/respect may have been affected... The onscreen chemistry is truly amazing... it would be really sad to hear that they are unable to maintain a good relationship off-screen too 🥺

Sorry for the long post, so many emotions after reading this...🤔

have seen that also

It's very disappointing from Ankush ... And I don't rule against Sonal If it happened like this

But it's quite bad for the show

So disappointed in ankush. I believe this though considering that for one, the producer, mahesh pandey said that he didn't want to comment on this incident, which is him acknowledging that the incident in fact took place but didn't want to reveal exactly what happened to brush the whole matter under the rug, and secondly, ankush has previously spoken very rudely and insensitively to young roshini when she was playing survi and even her mother (whose also an actress whose been in YHM and bahu hamari rajnikanth) spoke up about the incident saying how dare he talk to my daughter like that when she is so young and she mentioned even going down to the sets after hearing what ankush did to roshini and her mum had a go at ankush and ankush in a statement to tellychakkar admitted and apologised for the incident. Plus mahesh pandey even did that instagram posts about a certain main actor wanting to quit, who he was obviously talking about ankush, and apparently saying that ankush said certain things that would make us hate him if he knew what he said in regards to why he wanted to leave the show. This all proves he has a really bad attitude and anger problem. Though i love him as an actor, i've never been fond of him personally.

I do remember that TC article as well about Roshni ... So thinking about it, then the producer's statement plus Sonal deleated her pic with Ankush ... Now it's sure at 100%
But it's completely disappointing ... Can't watch him like before now 🤢

This is why it is best to know very very little about the personal lives of actors. Admire their acting onscreen and leave it at that. We are lucky that Ankush and Sonal are really good actors, so despite this "incident" I do believe they will be able to go on with the series for as long as the producers see it necessary.

I enjoy watching Karvi/sonkush onscreen, and before I actually knew (through this forum) that Sonal was dating someone else, I thought it would have been nice if Sonkush were together in real life (clearly, that will never be happening). I admire the two actors, and how they are able to bring to life two amazing characters and portray their romance to the point that it is believable, but I don't think I would call myself a hardcore fan. I am disappointed with all the drama that has taken place behind the scenes, hopefully all those involved deal with it on their own and together, and work towards creating a healthy work environment in the present and for their futures, while taking into regard the existence of their colleagues and their emotions.

I think I am going to stick to just watching the show, and not take part or read/watch anything that reveals the personal lives of the actors.

Thank you so much for all the updates! and Good luck with everything including the show 😊

@sugarpuff
I completely agree with u ... My experience with Hindi shows taught to not being too attached with their characters/jodis or actors personal life
We should watch just as entertainment ... That incident happened and like it's said the show must go on ...

I wanted to add one last thing...
Yeh Vaada Raha- is a story about two very different people who are portrayed as soulmates, who love each other unconditionally... yet the use of violence (ex. slapping, threatening to run over the female lead by a car by the male lead) has been incorporated on various occasions, with the one affected (the female) forgiving the other far too easily (despite the female lead being portrayed as strong)... Potentially passing off to viewers that it is okay (in reality it should NOT be okay) for violence to take place in relationships... and that the emotion of anger is a justification for one to raise their hand...

This is a significant concern that may have already been discussed in previous posts or articles, but with the recent incident, I think it is important to discuss within the series fandom to put pressure on creators to stop incorporating such violence, and to encourage scenes in which arguments (if taking place) are left to being verbal...

From reading the article, it seems that similar incidences have taken place on other sets... It is unfortunate and unacceptable...

I understand TRP is important to producers and writers of series, but it should not be put first when there are scenes that include gender based violence...

With Sonal reaction to this incident it is clear actors would not tolerate such occurrences in their lives, than why play it onscreen- there is nothing artistic about acting out such scenes... actors should work together in going against the incorporation of such scenes...the dramatic touch a slap between a husband and wife or any characters to display anger/frustration should not be included unless the writer incorporate scenes that follow showing extreme remorse, and clearly stating through words that it is not okay. I know YVR incorporated one short song sequence in which kartik was depicted as being remorseful for, but after how long? 7 years? There is sill so much that was missing...

When alcohol is shown being consumed onscreen a social msg is incorporated in writing stating the negative implications it can have on one's health... not sure how effective it is, but why not even at the very very least do the same when violence (gender based violence) is depicted? Would it have any affect on society?

To anyone who took the time to read this rant, and took something away from it- thank you.

This is really unfortunate...
SonKush really shared a nice relation but one incident everything fell apart...
It's sad to hear actors slapping each other & yes, nobody in real life will accept any negative comments against them...but slapping it is bit too far... We really don't know what happened, hopefully everything sets right as for the show..

There have been news for awhile about his behavior and it's really disappointing to know that he has not changed. I like watching SonKush together onscreen so it makes me sad that he can't act like a professional offscreen. I hope he tries to learn from his mistakes and realizes that it's not ok to mistreat people like that.
