The episode starts with survi noticing that the belt of khushi's frock sticking outside. She shows it to Kartik and they quickly open it. khushi is unconscious due to cold. Kartik and survi try their best to open the door of refrigerator. Tai and Pyare are standing with tensed expressions. Miraculously a mouse, roaming around the shelf, accidentally nudges the key and it falls on the ground. Survi picks it up and give it to kartik. He quickly opens the refrigerator. Khushi, inside has turned blue due to cold. They rush to take her to hospital.

At home, Pyare is tensed that khushi might be saved, but Tai says that khushi is dead. Kishore rushes to get the doctor, but Tai says that she'll go and get. Survi and Kartik are trying to revive khushi. Survi hopes that there isn't pneumonia. As kishore enters, they ask for the doctor. He says that Tai will bring doctor. Tai comes after sometime with a doctor. Survi tells about all the symptoms to doctor, who stands still. Tai hopes that he'd finish the plan successfully. Survi asks him not to waste time and get the checkup done. Tai asks her to cool down and allow the doctor to treat. She asks Pyare to continue pretending to be innocent as the injection will kill khushi, still nobody will suspect them. Survi is boggled, as the doctor prepares the injection. He is about to insert it, when Survi stops him at the last moment. She vehemently throws the injection away. All look puzzled. Survi asks him how could he not administer the injection properly. Kartik asks what will they do now as the injection is broken, and they'll have to get another. Tai scolds Survi too. She rushes to get a syringe and a vial of med, and herself gives the injection in khushi's veins. Tai glares as her plan failed. pyare asks what now. She says that as khushi is hopefully already dead, she has won anyway.

Later, Jatin comes with police, and says that whoever did this, won't be spared. Survi thanks him for this. Pyare asks fearfully why investigation is needed. Jatin says this is must because they need to find out the culprit who wants to harm khushi. Tai is tensed. Kishore takes the police downstairs, saying that maybe they can identify the culprit, by the footprints. Pyare tries to divert jatin's focus from the investigation, but Tai asks them to continue. In the room, as Kartik gets to go, Survi grabs his hand and asks if anything will happen to khushi. He assures that nothing will happen to her, and he'll find out who did this, then kill that person. He comes down and watches the investigation procedure. When one of the constables, find finger prints, Tai is finally afraid. Jatin says that the fingerprints will prove who did this from the family, as no outsider came in. Tai asks why anyone will do that. Kartik warns Jatin not to suspect his family. He asks him to think practically. kartik gets irked and shuts him up, saying that none can do such thing from his family. Jatin asks him to look at khushi's condition and think about who might have done it. He questions if his family is innocent, then why they are not giving fingerprints. Kishore agrees with him and asks everyone to give fingerprint, as none from their family could do it. Kartik complies belatedly and starts first with his fingerprints. Then others follow. Kartik asks survi if there is any improvement in khushi's condition. She says that her body is still cold. As they come close to treat khushi, their hands collide and they awkwardly stare at each other.

Lata says to Kishore that since her arrival, khusi cast a bad effect on their family. Jatin says that khushi is fighting for life, and yet they are tagging her as curse. Lata says that he is misinterpreting her statement, and she feels for khushi, but she won't have anyone suspecting her family for killing a girl. Jatin says that he isn't doing so, but they need to find out the culprit. Tai joins and tells Lata that they can prove their innocence. She takes her to sign but before they can sign, constable points at another self of finger prints. Tai takes this chance to stealthily keep her fingerprints in the concerned box. Lata recognizes the print as her slipper. All are shocked to hear this. Pyare smirks at Tai, while she says that it was just a coincidence. Jatin says that he has already talked to DC and till khushi comes to sense, he won't leave her. Khushi is being taken care of by Survi and Kartik while Tai prays not to save her.

Precap: Khushi sees Tai's bracelet and recognizes instantly that she did this to her. Survi as well as others are shocked.
