I just came across few a love quotes & it got me thinking as to how Kartik lives by them... it's just a random post... but here it goes
1. IN A SEA OF PEOPLE MY EYES WILL ALWAYS SEARCH FOR YOU:
When kartik sees survi for first time post leap at his party... even after 8 long years.. amidst so many people... amidst the huge crowd... he instantly recognizes her by her earrings.. Then at the wedding function of savita & anna saheb's daughter... (where they sought shelter after being lost in the jungle)... kartik's eyes are seeking survi... inspite of all the presumptuous pain & hurt he was dealing with... When he wakes up from d dead after tai attempts to kill him on mahashivratri... His mom n sis are by his side... n of course the evil tai n her entire paltan is also der... but his eyes yearn for his survi... n wants to reach out to her the moment he sets his eyes on her...
2. LOVE IS NOT ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU SAY I LOVE YOU' BUT HOW MUCH YOU PROVE THAT IT'S TRUE
When Kartik is adamant to prove his love for Survi... he threatens her to jump off the bldg.. that was so naive... but here he proved to wat extremes he can go for his lady love.. Then inspite of all the wrong notions & the resulting hurt & pain.. he saves her from drowning... his love for her overpowers his so called hatred... he showed he actually cared... care is d other name of love they say Valentine's Day where he goes out of the way to make her feel special... to make her realize she means the world to him...
3. TRUE LOVE IS NOT SO MUCH A MATTER OF ROMANCE AS IT IS A MATTER OF ANXIOUS CONCERN FOR THE WELL BEING OF ONE'S COMPANION:
When tai sends survi to jail.. all hell breaks loose for kartik.. he rushes to tai's place & demands mujhe meri patni apne saath chahiye hawalat ke peeche nai'... He simply cannot bear seeing her at such a wrong place... the jail ie... Then of course that mad dash for survi when she had faked her accident... where he says.. "duniyaa doobne lagi thi meri... tumhara joothe accident ki khabar sunkar kaise ghar se kaise bhaaga ye tumhe andaza bhi hai"... Oh yeah.. how can we forget his sincere prayer to Bappa... please meri survi ko kuch mat hone dena... When he just cuts d drama wid meher n rushes to be by survi's side when tai pushes her off the steps... He cannot think of anything beyond survi's well being.. that's of utmost importance for him... to hell wid all the plotting & planning... his survi comes first... When meher tries to harm survi at the hospital.. he was scared to death seeing her cry inconsolably & yet he puts up a brave front & tries to pacify her... reassures her that he's there by her side... n no harm can come her way...
THAT'S OUR KARTYA'S LOVE FOR HIS SURVI...
HE SO LIVES UPTO ALL THESE LINES...
