The episode starts with Tai agreeing with meher's audacious request and turns to go. But meher stops her and orders her to clean the glass pieces. Tai complies, gulping down the insult. Ranbir warns her not to tell her old sentimental story to kartik else he'll have her family ruined. Tai agrees and turns away. Her family is shocked to know of she's working as a maid. She says venomously that she will get back to meher and ranbir and informs them about the roka. Bindu says that they're day dreaming as this will not happen.

The next morning, kartik and his family is surprised to see Ranbir coming with huge gifts, saying that its meher's roka today and that he'll be happy if they come. Seeing them tensed, he requests them to accept the gifts, which are part of the function. He asks survi to come along too as she's the reason behind it. As he turns to go, kartik says that they aren't relative so he can't accept gifts from him. Ranbir says that very soon, they will establish a relationship. Seeing him bewildered, Ranbir says that he needs a man like him and offers a job worth 1.5 lakh a month. kartik thanks but says that he'll ask his wife first and then give his answer. Ranbir asks why bring the wife into it. kartik says that he won't take any decision without asking her and asks him what can he do for his sister. Ranbir says that he can die. Kartik takes survi's hand and says that she taught him that we should live for the family not die, as who will look after them. He asks if he dies, then who will take care of his sister. Ranbir gives his card and leaves, saying that he'll wait for his answer,if they come ll it's a yes, else its no. After he goes, Kartik asks Survi what should he do. She says she doesn't know. He chides her for being so indecisive, when he praised her so much. They start fighting. finally, Kartik says that he will take a call and give the final answer which isn't subject to further discussion.

Meanwhile, Ranbir returns home. meher shows her dress and asks if kartik is coming. He says yes. He gets kartik's call, who denies his job offer. He also apologises and says that they won't be able to come to roka ceremony, as what happened between him and meher, nothing can be normal. He gives them their best wishes and says that he'll return all the gifts. Ranbir gets tensed while meher is excited about ceremony.

Here, survi asks Kartik why he refused. He says that he saw tension on her face after hearing the job offer that's why. She thanks him for keeping her happy. They decide to fight together and says that nobody can come between them. They start romancing. Survi moves away blushing but kartik grabs her hand and turns her to him. Then he cups her face and kisses her lovingly.
Meher finds the gifts returned back and gets kartik turned down the offer. She yells at him for leading her on then crushing her hopes and now he wants her to find another groom, when all she ever wanted was is kartik. She walks out angrily saying now she will take care of matters. He calls out, but she doesn't listen.

Meher barges in survi's house. She asks Kartik why didn't he come. All are boggled. she draws out a knife from behind her back, and says that she loves him, but he didn't come at all. She glares at survi asking today is her roka and how dare she keep Kartik here. She blurts out what her brother promised her, but he returned it back.. Kartik asks what nonsense is this. meher says that survi lied to her which brought all this drama and she won't allow survi to be with him. she shouts hysterically if he'll leave survi or not. Kartik retorts back that he will never leave and asks her to get out. Meher says that if she can't have him, she wont let him be survi's too. She goes to stab survi, but kartik comes in middle and gets stabbed instead. all scream out, while he winces in pain. meher stares at the knife warily. survi catches falling kartik and screams to revive him. Right then meher stabs herself in stomach. It turns out to be Ranbir's nightmare. He jolts back as meher keeps asking if kartik is coming at seven. He promises that kartik will definitely come at seven, and asks her to go and get dressed. She happily leaves while he's tensed. Grandma tells she knows that he doesn't want to do it, but has to, for the sake of his sister. He says that the God is to be blamed for playing with emotions and he's responsible for what his sister is going through. He says that he doesn't hate God but wants to know when he got everything, why such a horrible fate for his sister. He states till his heart beats, his sister's wish will be fulfilled and by seven, kartik will be at roka and he'll see to it.

Precap: Ranvir and his goons attack survi and shanti on the road. They hit survi with an rod. She falls unconscious in shanti's arms. Kartik rushes inside the house to find ranbir and meher standing at the balcony with contented smile.
