The epidode starts with meher telling Kartik that she heard about the alliance rejecting shanti. They're apologizes for earlier behavior and immediately accept shanti as DIL. Lata thanks meher and blesses her. She says that she didn't do anything, as money speaks a lot, as 50 lakhs made them change their decision. They are shocked, while she adds that this is the least she could do as a wedding gift, after all shanti is her SIL. Srikant asks what's this. meher says that his troubles are over, and she shall take everyone' responsibility. kartik squeezes meher's hand and asks her to shut up else he'll lose control. He then tells the groom's family that its good that their true self is exposed, so they should get lost now. The mother tries to speak but he snaps that he respects ladies and doesn't want to do anything uncivil. He asks them to leave as their daughter and sisters aren't for sale. After they leave meher asks kartik what did she do. Kartik slaps meher and forbids not to involve in his family's affairs and never step foot inside the house ever again. He then asks her to get lost. Meher scowls at kartik then finally leaves.

Later, kartik goes to cheer up shanti, who is weeping vehemently. After some time they get to teasing each other. Survi too joins in. Kartik aplogises for bringing a wrong guy without knowing much of him and promises that he'll get her a man, who looks at her happiness and overlooks her shortcomings. Raghu comes in with an offer of a job in Hyderabad. They are tensed first, but then consider it a good opportunity. survi says that she too will try to find a job in the same firm. someone eavesdrops from behind the curtain.

Here, Meher's granny asks her where she was. She says that she went for her friend's surprise party. But granny doesn't buy her lie and asks if she went to kartik's house. meher manages to deceive her. Granny asks her to come along to the temple with her but meher excuses that she has to go to the office for work. Granny leaves. She says lying is good as all is fair in love and imagines the happiness she would feel when she has kartik all for herself. Meanwhile Tai barges in saying that this is impossible and offers to team up to ruin kartik's life. meher says that she doesn't want to ruin him. Tai tries to convince saying survi will never leave him. This angers meher more and she throws her out of the house. Then, she gets a call about kartik leaving town for a job in Hyderabad. she thinks that this cant be, as he can't leave her.

Tai and her family is cheerful to see that their deal worked and they got one and a half times of the invested money. she proudly says that this time she needs to invest big, and shall call him when she arranges the money. Kishore tries to warn her but she ignores his warning, and asks him to attend the meetings.

The next morning, kartik and survi arrive for their placement. One of the employees takes kartik inside, while suri stands scared outside, not getting a good vibe. He goes inside to find meher there instead of the MD of the company. She informs how she bought the company when she got to know about his new job. When she says that she loves him, he says that he loves his wife. She tries to woo but he asks her to stop troubling his family and this job is very important for him. Kartik tries to leave. Meher says that he can't leave. As he turns to open the door, she takes this chance to inject him. When he falls unconscious, she apologises to him saying that it's just a matter of sometime. Outside, survi gets tired of waiting so she comes in and she tries the door. But finds that its locked from inside. meher calls her men and gets Kartik lodged in the back seat of the car. When meher comes out, survi is shocked to see her. She asks what's she doing here and where is kartik. meher answers he went home and she should go too as its time for the office to close. Survi smells fishy and asks what she did with her kartik. meher says that kartik was hers, now he belongs to meher. Survi goes in to find kartik gone and when she comes back, she finds meher gone too. She dials kartik's number but is shocked to find meher answering. She asks survi to go home, as kartik is hers and will be always. She mocks survi not to worry as every month, she'll get the payoff to run the house and the time she spends in finding kartik, could better be used in finding a new husband.

Precap: Kartik tells meher that survi must have already found a way to get to him. Survi gets in the dickey of a car. Meher asks if she isn't able to find, then would he agree that meher's love for her is true. katik says that if it's done, then he'll do whatever she says. Meanwhile, survi peeks ahead the dickey but meher shuts it back scornfully.
