" I couldn't have put it any better.And this was shown over & over again before the leap which shocked Tai about how strongly he felt for Survi.His feelings were aptly summed up by Tai " Kartik ko Survi ke aage peeche aur kuchh nahin dikhta " which made Tai realise Survi needed to stay away from Kartik & hence her dangerous & successful plan 8 years ago

And Tai reiterated it when Kartik married Survi that he has always defied her for Survi's sake

That party scene was one of the most beautiful scenes is what I felt.

When Survi said " Yehi sab dekhna chahte the na aap " that hurt Kartik like anything.That Survi could think that he could have wanted this for her broke him.Despite knowing the real Kartik all her life,that such a thought could even cross her mind was just too much for him.He teared up & lost all control & wanted to punish her.

That one time when Survi was a kid & Kartik was mad at her.He went to her & asked her if she was angry & if she was he asked her " Mera itna bhi haq nahin banta kya tujhpe "

Aur is baar bhi with all his haq he wanted to punish her

About Kartik getting mad for the fever drama or at the party lemme tell you,my mom has always supported him.She said Survi was at fault,that she should have let Kartik know about her surprise birthday plan & all.And even when Kartik blamed Survi for his mother's condition,my mom would be just mad at Survi for making up all the lies,rather than coming clean.Like no matter what Kartik did to make her speak the truth that she was in fact Survi,she didn't.

About Kartik realising his love for Survi,I never felt it was rushed.

The scene wherein he was drawn to Survi sitting by the lake was the 1st sign of him realising him falling in love with her

The 2nd instance would be him looking for her restlessly at the wedding soon after

3rd would be yes you are right,at the party,the scene wherein Survi arrives & he for a moment forgets everything & keeps looking at her

Kartik has always loved Survi but yeah it was strictly platonic before the leap but then he sees her again after so many years & realises he feels romantically for her too.So yeah it's been love all along.Survi has always held a special place in Kartik's heart.He has always been awed by her maturity,about how responsible girl she is.Kartik burdened by family responsibilities seemed like being his own playful,carefree self only with Survi around which he said it himself when he told Survi " Tu meri dost hai yaar.Mein tere saath has sakta hun,ro sakta hun,tere saath apne dil ki har feeling share kar sakta hun.Tu jitna mujhe samajhti hai utna koi nahin samajhta " That is what Survi means to Kartik.And we have already agreed herein that Kartik's world revolves around Survi. 😆😳

I found it beautiful when Survi confessed to having pushed Lata,Kartik looked surprised.It's like a battle between his heart & brain.8 years ago,he pieced together what the circumstances pointed at & placed Survi at the accident spot,but then in his heart he has always known the real Survi,the girl he loved.It was like he wanted to believe in her innocence but couldn't.But then hearing it from her,all hell breaks loose.The last straw of hope that maybe,maybe Survi hadn't done this,that she could have never done this was gone y

And yeah Kartik is a total sweetheart.Like Yusra said Kartik is loyal.I mean come on the premise of the show is based on Kartik & his vaada like they asked in the promo " Kis had tak jaayega Kartik apne vaade ke khatir " And so they have shown him to be even willing to die for his vaada.

He is responsible.Took care of Tai & his family singlehandedly. which Aniket realises when he said " Hum sab ko bade paar se sambhala hai aapne " I mean he didn't want to marry VIshakha until Hema & Bindu are not married

He is pure,selfless which Shrikant attested to " Mera Kartik khud se pehle dusro ke baare mein sochta hai "

And who more than Survi to know what a beautiful person he is.And that's what made a 14 year old girl to fall in love with him.And that's why no matter what Kartik has done or is gonna do,Survi has never & can never be mad at Kartik.And that's why she bore all his insults & everything he threw at her after the leap.For 8 years that girl lived with the thought that Kartik must be happily married to Vishakha,that she can never be with her love.Like Tai had taunted her 8 years ago " Itni si umar mein tera dil tootega aur tera pyaar chootega kyun ki Kartya to tujhe milne se raha "

And then she sees him again,sees him broken,sees him hurt,sees him in pain,a changed person,a completely different person far removed from the carefree,boy next door she knew.And so she stayed back wanting to heal him,make him smile all the while hoping that maybe,maybe someday Kartik will love her back.

It's just 2 days ago that I wrote another Mahabharat about how awesome Kartik is 😆

Lastly loving the show,love all the characters,even that of Tai.My mom keeps saying about how she is justified in her hatred for Survi.Think the makers have done a fabulous job so far

And that's what makes me so positive about the show.Like Yusra once mentioned,this show has been different & has surprised us all along with the plot,pace & everything which makes me always hopeful for the show 😃

totally agree with all your points.

It takes alot to show your desperation and vulnerability for the one you love and kartik hasnt hesitated even once to show his desperateness and vulnerability for survi...

I totally agree He didnt hate her in the first place but always tried to convince himself that he hates her...

Moreover the point no one noticed is that Even after survi's false confession for pushing lata,he didnt even think of sending her to jail for a crime.He just asked her to go away from his life.He could have called the police but again his Love didnt allow him to act such...

Kartik's intensity and passion was the highlight of his Bday party.And all he said in front of guests was Not an Insult but a useless way of letting his hurt out...He was broken by the fact that the person most important in his life didnt even bother to come to his bday.He was hurt that survi was ounishing him by staying away.

His drunk talk in party left such a huge impact on me as a viewer and if he had told all these things to survi alone after the party,it woulndt have made such a huge impact.

If he had acted normal then how woud we have gotten to know that Our Kartyaa baware is crazy after survi..

The things he said to her in room specially MAIN TUMSE NAFRAT KARTA HOON is actually very intersting and deep line.Here some may think that he is an impulsive man who hates and love in a matter of seconds and is not consistent as a lover.

BUT this line actually meant that MAIN TUMSE ITNA PYAR KESE KARSAKTA HOON...by saying it he was covering that desperateness he felt...He was saying He loves her so much that he hates her for going away from him and pushing him away...He was saying K he hates her alot beacuse she is making him go weak in the knees.And the way he said k MAINE ITNA WAIT KIYA TUMHARA.MERA BDAY BEKAAR.SAB BEKAAR HOGAYA

AWWW.such an adorable hero who instead of giving heroine silent ego treatment,actually pours his heart out and admits boldly that His bday was all spoiled becuase Survi didnt come.
