Hi you all.I am fresh Forum Member Yamna!

Been such a Crazy Karvi Fan like you all since the start.

As I started visiting the forums,I noticed that Kartik is maybe least favourite character among the lot.I totally understand the reasons behind it.He is not a strong headed lead which overshadows him sometimes infront of Taai and our newly Sachai ki devi Mata Survi..

But I have a question for you all?

Is this all to Kartik's character?

Is he really a simply overshadowed daily soap hero who knows nothing(like Jon Snow😆)

OR there is more to his character?

I made this post because no matter how much anyone says k kartik is weak and spoilt,I have always understood his reasons behind doind things his own way.

1-I read alot in some posts that Kartik doesnt even consider Survi His friend toh Love tod durki bat hay

Magar tell me this If karthik doesnt love survi then Why he married her?

Kartik hated survi for 8 yrs but when she returned,If we take a look at all of Kartik's wrongdoings toh there is a fact that all that he did in hatred to hurt survi back was nothing but harmless childish interventions which made him more hurt than happy.Always he wanted to punish survi but ended up protecting her or saving her or just helpless that he cant even see her in pain...I dont Know what is love if not being able to hate a person as much you want.His love for survi was so true that defeated his hatred all the times he wanted to punish her.So if thats not love,what is?

2-Kartik faced alot of backlash when He asked survi to marry Ani and kartik was considered Tai's robot.

But guys here is another face of the picture.Lata was in coma was 8 yrs and survi left him without giving any explanations.during these years it was onlt Taai who was his support system(even Fake) .she was with him for these years.when he was in pain.So tell me why wont he believe Tai like God?Kartik has spent most of his time with Tai more than Survi and Lata.so why wont he trust her more than anyone?

Kartik loved survi but asked her to marry him.But did he force her to marry him?asking her was the only thing he could have done for his cripple brother.

In his eyes Ani has always lead an incomplete life without one leg,So its natural to think about your brother who has lead an incompete life before yourself.It was survi's decision to marry Ani..

3-Kartik again faced all the backlash when he was angry with survi in recent episodes.I dont know about you all but tell me Isnt kartik the only character in Yvr who doesnt have an ulterior motive.who wants to lead a simple and true life without any manipulations.isnt he the one being manipulated by taai first and now his survi?so how does this make him an idiot who doesnt trust his wife..

kartik has always loved survi more than she loves him beacuse its only survi jis kO mushkil mn dekh k kartik Tai ko bhi bhul jata h.thats y he married her when he saw her in pain.Did he even think of asking for Tai's permission before marrying?No

because his love for Survi always defeats his obedience for Tai

Yes he didnt take her home with him but He is naturally very very caring man who doesnt want to hurt anyone.thats y he told her that tai ko sath la k he will do bidai.He knew he took a big step which may will hurt Tai thats h he wanted her permission to do bidai.Ek bechare ache admi pe kitnaaa baaar dala wa hai😭

4-You guys may think that Kartik is immature which he is.i know.But in all his immaturity did he made survi feel dejected or unwanted anytime?No he was open to her k Rishta abhi nai bana skta.balk in between he lost control alot of times around survi after marriage becuase he cant stay away from her at all.He always took a stamd for survi.Magar survi's bukhar natak made him feel unwanted that she doesnt want him.Phr he got calm magar ohr survi ne ek aur jhoot gar dia.Toh is this his fault or Survi's k woh kartik se sb kuch chupa k smjh rhi h k jeet jayegi.

dekho guys i know a thing for sure,if you hide things from your partner then you cant make a loving and strong bond with him.

5-Now coming to big showdown Insult in part episode which made everyone fuming with anger on Kartik.mere pas uska bhi jawab h

Since 3 days survi was making him feel dejected by her.yeh survi ki phooti qismat k kartik k liye sb kuch plan krne k bad bhi wo taii ko bhul gai.jab app itne childish waar karoge to haar apki hi hogi survi maata.

She wasnt able to reach party at time and when she reached kartik holded her hand and started drunk talk that she broke his heart.Sab ne dekha k kartik ne survi ko kia kia bola magar tell me is saare raite mn kartik ka qasoor kia?tai hai to wo manipulating him survi hai to wo manipulating him.Did you guys see k how broken he was?did you guys see how he kneeled down as like he was lifeless?did you guys see the pain behind his anger?tell me do you feel hurt by someone for not caring for ur feelings if you dont love them?

No.You only feel hurt by someone who u consider your life.And when someone is hurt then only way to let out the hurt is huritng them back..i have seen one heroine slapped her husband becuase he was maksing his identity all the time along even when he was alive and didnt tell her that he is not dead for his own reasons.Did it means she didnt love him?No she did balk bw them two she loved him more thats y she felt dejected that he didnot care for her pain.Its the same Kartik did in party and after party.

So tell me does survi loves kartik more or Kartik loves her more?kartik kuch bhi karle magar usey taklef mn nai dekh sakta.magar survi ne unintentionally hi magar use hurt bht kia.

Now last but not the least!his chant in room after party K MAIN TUMSE NAFRAT KARTA HOON.TUM NAI AIN.MAINE TUMHARA KITNA WAIT KIA...

these lines and that scene made me go Awww.i felt his pain so much.These lines itself declared his intensity of love for survi.The way he said k main tumse nafrat karta hoon.

It made my day.He loves. her with so much intensity that usk na ane pe usne apna yeh haal krlia.😭

Guyz if we want a intense hero than we have to settle with his anger becuase calmness cant exist with intensity and passion.Toh agar humn intense kartik hi chayye like party episode toh humn usk ghusse ko bhi bardasht krna parega.

Is puri khichidi main kisi ne yeh nai dekha k Kartik's happiness and sadness lies only with survi.

when she made him feel dejected he was in majnu mode.phr jab he thought k survi ne party arrange ki hai then he was back again happy.Phr jab he got to know about survi's absence then he got sad again.Ohhh my baby.I dont know how can someone hate such loving man.

I know alot of you will say k Kartik made her feel dejected when he said to her K he doesnt know yeh shadi kr k usne sahi kia ya ghalat.But again i will say he cant hurt anyone associated with him.So how can he be happy after marrying his brother's fiancee in such circumstances.thora sa cofnusion to chalta hai yaaro.

I know cvs rushed the track of kartik's realising his love after hate-love track but Kartik had already realised his feeling for her in that track.The film launch party scene where he went all mad after someone hurt survi, was evident of that and then when she told him that why does he care.he wanted to punish her.He went and grasped her hair and after some moments of anger staring,the pain of not hating her enough became evident in his expressions and eyes.he was almost crying in that scene.So kartik realized his love for her along time ago but lata's clearing her name gave him a freedom to approach her.

So guyz hope i have cleared almost all misunderstandings i witnessed in some posts.And i respect all of your's opinion but if you see another face of the same picture then Kartik jesa masoom aur intense hero kafi time sy tv pe nai aya...

Kartik has always took a stamd for survi but this time it was survi's fault that broke him.When he said to taai in party k Apko main tootta hua q nai dikhta.guys i will aske same questions to you.Survi Is kartik's life and how can she think that by depriving him of his Life which is survi,she can make his life good...

i think you forgot something that karthik realized his mistake in the morning after seeing the cake kept by survi

i think at the party karthik was in drunken state so he insulted her but not intentionally he was not in his senses.

yeah i know.he can never even think of insulting survi in his senses.he was drunk and so hurt.i was feeling so bad for him.Insan kisi se itna pyar bhi na karey yaaar.

during all this time when taai said to survi k u r playing with kartik's life when she did natak of bemari,even then he didnt say a word to her.he was angry and left.then again after srikant behoshi jhoot kartik confronted her in room alone.he didnt say a word to survi even infront of Taai..thats my kartik always caring...

haha mannu u are my same name buddy..well this is another picture of yvr which was hidden all along and i needed to say it all on the forum.sometimes characters are not one dimensional as we expect them to be.sometimes characters are multidimensional which is our kartik and it takes a lot of effort to understand them...

haha itna chane ke jhaar le charane ki zrurt nai,this is all i feel.Karvi are perfect.

Omg! Really this didn't strike my mind at all! I seriously appreciate ur close abservation! And this post was truly needed and even i was one of those who misunderstood him ur post cleared it all! U literally gave answers to all questions which were in my mind and confused me about karthik's feelings for survi! after thinking a lot when i couldn't justify his behavior towards her i convinced myself telling that he himself is confused about his feelings and is soo immature but ur post cleared it all. I never observed him soo close i was too busy in justifing his behavior! Now as u said survi's new guilt wala track because of which she is keeping him away makes no sense as her truth of being sakhi may be revealed only after tai's truth comes forward at that time karthik will definetly understand why she did like that and anyways by becoming sakhi she didn't lie to him as he don't even know who is sakhi! She unnecessarily hurting herself and and also karthik! I hope she will understand all these soon as she said in the last episode to tai that all this time she was thinking that she is doing something wrong by not telling the truth to karthik but she was wrong she will clear all the distances between karthik and her hopefully she meant to stop this unnecessary guilty! And this promo! Pissing me off how can they a stupid promo in which blood running down indicating danger and say its a Valentine special! And expect us to like it! Loge pattar maarenge agar happy eve ko sad banaya tho!

😆right dear i request u to write everyday after the episode aired seriously u post is an eye opner see i was very much positive and only i can understand ...kartik ...if we honestly see kartik character is hard to see in todays fictional ..shows because no maater what the male lead of the shows are they are hard to bereable with huge huge dailouge and OTT acting here i find...Kartik cahracter to be so real...and thanks to ANKUSH playing it who has left no stone to make it more realistic...two dimenional character yup u said it right...being an student of literature i can say it loud Kartik character is full of layers and dimensional but ...Kartik character is hard to find kartik is not a ott lover boy...who just know...to lean on female lead...kartik love for survi is full pure rather sacred...and it takes a lot of time to ...wash off the layer one by one...but my only complain to cvs is they are not giving proper space to kartik that only biggest complain... i have...

i would like to aad since i am watching it from the beigning when survi was young and kartik cames to know that Tayi was the person...who frame survis dad in drug case and he just confronted tayi hard not only..that he injures himself thinking...that for him and his loved ones survi life was at stake and however tayi just manipulated all the game ...and rest is history...b ut that broke down if u could see that u could feel the intensitity of Kartik character ahaaa

Trully loving it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please please please write daily please!

OMG a Kartik supporter.You & I are so gonna be besties 😆😳

Lemme highlight some parts of your post I simply loved

" We have already discuseed it extensively here.Kartik never hated her.He thought he did but then he can never hate the girl for whom he once said " Mein tere bina jee nahin paunga " He was hurt because Survi knew how much he loved her,yet she left.He was left in the dark,was clueless when Survi didn't even let him know as to why she left.He was just broken,hurt,sad & plain mad at Survi but he never stopped loving her

" its only survi jis kO mushkil mn dekh k kartik Tai ko bhi bhul jata h. " I couldn't have put it any better.And this was shown over & over again before the leap which shocked Tai about how strongly he felt for Survi.His feelings were aptly summed up by Tai " Kartik ko Survi ke aage peeche aur kuchh nahin dikhta " which made Tai realise Survi needed to stay away from Kartik & hence her dangerous & successful plan 8 years ago

And Tai reiterated it when Kartik married Survi that he has always defied her for Survi's sake

That party scene was one of the most beautiful scenes is what I felt.

When Survi said " Yehi sab dekhna chahte the na aap " that hurt Kartik like anything.That Survi could think that he could have wanted this for her broke him.Despite knowing the real Kartik all her life,that such a thought could even cross her mind was just too much for him.He teared up & lost all control & wanted to punish her.

That one time when Survi was a kid & Kartik was mad at her.He went to her & asked her if she was angry & if she was he asked her " Mera itna bhi haq nahin banta kya tujhpe "

Aur is baar bhi with all his haq he wanted to punish her

About Kartik getting mad for the fever drama or at the party lemme tell you,my mom has always supported him.She said Survi was at fault,that she should have let Kartik know about her surprise birthday plan & all.And even when Kartik blamed Survi for his mother's condition,my mom would be just mad at Survi for making up all the lies,rather than coming clean.Like no matter what Kartik did to make her speak the truth that she was in fact Survi,she didn't.

About Kartik realising his love for Survi,I never felt it was rushed.

The scene wherein he was drawn to Survi sitting by the lake was the 1st sign of him realising him falling in love with her

The 2nd instance would be him looking for her restlessly at the wedding soon after

3rd would be yes you are right,at the party,the scene wherein Survi arrives & he for a moment forgets everything & keeps looking at her

Kartik has always loved Survi but yeah it was strictly platonic before the leap but then he sees her again after so many years & realises he feels romantically for her too.So yeah it's been love all along.Survi has always held a special place in Kartik's heart.He has always been awed by her maturity,about how responsible girl she is.Kartik burdened by family responsibilities seemed like being his own playful,carefree self only with Survi around which he said it himself when he told Survi " Tu meri dost hai yaar.Mein tere saath has sakta hun,ro sakta hun,tere saath apne dil ki har feeling share kar sakta hun.Tu jitna mujhe samajhti hai utna koi nahin samajhta " That is what Survi means to Kartik.And we have already agreed herein that Kartik's world revolves around Survi. 😆😳

I found it beautiful when Survi confessed to having pushed Lata,Kartik looked surprised.It's like a battle between his heart & brain.8 years ago,he pieced together what the circumstances pointed at & placed Survi at the accident spot,but then in his heart he has always known the real Survi,the girl he loved.It was like he wanted to believe in her innocence but couldn't.But then hearing it from her,all hell breaks loose.The last straw of hope that maybe,maybe Survi hadn't done this,that she could have never done this was gone y

And yeah Kartik is a total sweetheart.Like Yusra said Kartik is loyal.I mean come on the premise of the show is based on Kartik & his vaada like they asked in the promo " Kis had tak jaayega Kartik apne vaade ke khatir " And so they have shown him to be even willing to die for his vaada.

He is responsible.Took care of Tai & his family singlehandedly. which Aniket realises when he said " Hum sab ko bade paar se sambhala hai aapne " I mean he didn't want to marry VIshakha until Hema & Bindu are not married

He is pure,selfless which Shrikant attested to " Mera Kartik khud se pehle dusro ke baare mein sochta hai "

And who more than Survi to know what a beautiful person he is.And that's what made a 14 year old girl to fall in love with him.And that's why no matter what Kartik has done or is gonna do,Survi has never & can never be mad at Kartik.And that's why she bore all his insults & everything he threw at her after the leap.For 8 years that girl lived with the thought that Kartik must be happily married to Vishakha,that she can never be with her love.Like Tai had taunted her 8 years ago " Itni si umar mein tera dil tootega aur tera pyaar chootega kyun ki Kartya to tujhe milne se raha "

Lastly loving the show,love all the characters,even that of Tai.My mom keeps saying about how she is justified in her hatred for Survi.Think the makers have done a fabulous job so far

And that's what makes me so positive about the show.Like Yusra once mentioned,this show has been different & has surprised us all along with the plot,pace & everything which makes me always hopeful for the show 😃

" I couldn't have put it any better.And this was shown over & over again before the leap which shocked Tai about how strongly he felt for Survi.His feelings were aptly summed up by Tai " Kartik ko Survi ke aage peeche aur kuchh nahin dikhta " which made Tai realise Survi needed to stay away from Kartik & hence her dangerous & successful plan 8 years ago
And Tai reiterated it when Kartik married Survi that he has always defied her for Survi's sake

That party scene was one of the most beautiful scenes is what I felt.
When Survi said " Yehi sab dekhna chahte the na aap " that hurt Kartik like anything.That Survi could think that he could have wanted this for her broke him.Despite knowing the real Kartik all her life,that such a thought could even cross her mind was just too much for him.He teared up & lost all control & wanted to punish her.
That one time when Survi was a kid & Kartik was mad at her.He went to her & asked her if she was angry & if she was he asked her " Mera itna bhi haq nahin banta kya tujhpe "
Aur is baar bhi with all his haq he wanted to punish her

About Kartik getting mad for the fever drama or at the party lemme tell you,my mom has always supported him.She said Survi was at fault,that she should have let Kartik know about her surprise birthday plan & all.And even when Kartik blamed Survi for his mother's condition,my mom would be just mad at Survi for making up all the lies,rather than coming clean.Like no matter what Kartik did to make her speak the truth that she was in fact Survi,she didn't.

About Kartik realising his love for Survi,I never felt it was rushed.
The scene wherein he was drawn to Survi sitting by the lake was the 1st sign of him realising him falling in love with her
The 2nd instance would be him looking for her restlessly at the wedding soon after
3rd would be yes you are right,at the party,the scene wherein Survi arrives & he for a moment forgets everything & keeps looking at her
Kartik has always loved Survi but yeah it was strictly platonic before the leap but then he sees her again after so many years & realises he feels romantically for her too.So yeah it's been love all along.Survi has always held a special place in Kartik's heart.He has always been awed by her maturity,about how responsible girl she is.Kartik burdened by family responsibilities seemed like being his own playful,carefree self only with Survi around which he said it himself when he told Survi " Tu meri dost hai yaar.Mein tere saath has sakta hun,ro sakta hun,tere saath apne dil ki har feeling share kar sakta hun.Tu jitna mujhe samajhti hai utna koi nahin samajhta " That is what Survi means to Kartik.And we have already agreed herein that Kartik's world revolves around Survi. 😆😳

I found it beautiful when Survi confessed to having pushed Lata,Kartik looked surprised.It's like a battle between his heart & brain.8 years ago,he pieced together what the circumstances pointed at & placed Survi at the accident spot,but then in his heart he has always known the real Survi,the girl he loved.It was like he wanted to believe in her innocence but couldn't.But then hearing it from her,all hell breaks loose.The last straw of hope that maybe,maybe Survi hadn't done this,that she could have never done this was gone y

And yeah Kartik is a total sweetheart.Like Yusra said Kartik is loyal.I mean come on the premise of the show is based on Kartik & his vaada like they asked in the promo " Kis had tak jaayega Kartik apne vaade ke khatir " And so they have shown him to be even willing to die for his vaada.
He is responsible.Took care of Tai & his family singlehandedly. which Aniket realises when he said " Hum sab ko bade paar se sambhala hai aapne " I mean he didn't want to marry VIshakha until Hema & Bindu are not married
He is pure,selfless which Shrikant attested to " Mera Kartik khud se pehle dusro ke baare mein sochta hai "

And who more than Survi to know what a beautiful person he is.And that's what made a 14 year old girl to fall in love with him.And that's why no matter what Kartik has done or is gonna do,Survi has never & can never be mad at Kartik.And that's why she bore all his insults & everything he threw at her after the leap.For 8 years that girl lived with the thought that Kartik must be happily married to Vishakha,that she can never be with her love.Like Tai had taunted her 8 years ago " Itni si umar mein tera dil tootega aur tera pyaar chootega kyun ki Kartya to tujhe milne se raha "

Second am totally in love with u vanellope. Girl u put things so beautiful, tat i fall in love with karvi again n again. The way u explain things in detail is just awesome n u r always the first to bring us good news regarding karvi, let it be new snaps or links which are authentic.
