Clearing the air on a misconception!

Ok so there are far too many people who actually believe that simran is survi's sister. C'mon guys you have been watching for so long so you should know that survi only has her father and that survi and her father were living at simran's as paying guests as simran's mother is their landlord and that is how survi-simran-karan friendship started. plus when survi was hiding her identity she lied that simran was her sister and simran and survi share a sisterly-like bonding. I made this post as i read a comment on another thread someone saying that simran's brother karan could not be with survi to make karthik jealous as simran and survi are sisters which means karan is survi's brother. why is everyone giving into this misconception that simran is survi's sister?

Thanks! I did not know that Simran was just a Survi's friend. I thought they were cousins. I wondered if they were step sisters as I have not seen Simran's father and no interaction between Srikant and Simran's mother.
