The episode starts with Aniket worrying when survi and kartik don't listen and call either, while tai and her children, along with Pyare listen dejectedly. They are surprised to see Simran coming with her mother and police in the house. Aniket asks what's the matter. Simran's mother answers that their car was found in a ditch. Aniket is worrying for survi, while simran is concerned for kartik. Tai pretends to be sorry for what has happened. Aniket asks the police if they found anyone in the car. After they denies, aniket asks them not to think the worst and maybe they barely escaped death. But tai keeps ranting about her grief and simran's mother too joins her. Aniket shuts them up and then goes with the police to find out. simran worriedly follows them.
In the wedding venue, Savita asks survi where is the husband and she stays mum. Bhau comes out, and asks where's her husband. She clarifies their misunderstanding saying that he left her. They are both shocked and feel cheated. Bhau says seeing them in distress, his wife gave them shelter and in return they gave this as their gratitude for their hospitality. Savita says angrily that there is no place for their small deeds of big cities, in their hearts and their house too. Bhau's wife too scolds her saying that she'll be punished in a manner, that she remembers and thinks a hundred times before doing something like this ever again. Survi is sad and speechless.
Kartik is seen walking on the road. He takes the mobile of one of the pedestrians and calls at home. Aniket getting the call from kartik becomes happy. Simran too expresses her concern. kartik says that he's fine and tells about the location. Then aniket asks about survi and Kartik gets tensed. He lies that she is safe too. Aniket feels relieved but then composes himself saying that he wanted to know because of simi's family. kartik asks them not to worry as he is reaching in a couple of hours. Aniket hangs up. The police officer asks aniket to tell kartik that he needs to file his statement then leaves. Aniket then says about his suspicions regarding the disappearance of kishore and the email , while tai and pyare are shocked. Bindu angrily leaves.
When simi returns home, her mother confronts her regarding her fondness to kartik adding that their relation should be strictly professional. She says that she likes him. Her mother asks her to let it be, as her career is paramount and she shouldn't tamper work with love but if she wants to put up a pretense of friendship and love for the sake of her career, she has no problem. Simi listens nervously.
Meanwhile, Savita gets black tar. she is about to smear survi with black tar when someone asks her to stop. She turns to find kartik standing there. All are surprised to see him. Kartik asks what are they doing with his wife. survi is shocked hearing his calling her 'wife'. Savita enquires whether she is really his wife then asks for how long. He says that since he married Simi. Savita warns him not to lie as survi has told the truth about their relation already. Kartik is shocked to know this. savita asks if this is why he left her. He replies that if he had to leave, then he wouldn't have come back. He says before going, they had a fight and she asked if she means anything to him and he replied in rage that she means nothing to him and thats the statement they took so literally. He asks savita if they fight or not and asks them to make her understand not to behave like this. He then tells survi not to take her anger out like this. Bhau is convinced by him then advises survi to behave maturely. Kartik apologises for the MU caused then takes survi's hand and says that even if for sometime, he shouldn't have left her and apologises for that. Survi stares puzzled and can't to react. Savita then takes them to a temple to test, if they are truly married. She takes the vermillion and asks him to put it on her forehead as a proof that he's her husband. Survi as well as Kartik is stunned. Savita asks why is he hesitating. Then she asks him to swear in front of all that he's the husband and will fulfill his responsibility, as the forehead of a married woman shouldn't be empty. Bhau too gets inpatient. savita asks kartik either to fulfill the ritual or leave his fate in Bhau's hands. Kartik recalls bhau's last decision. Finally, he picks up the vermillion and applies it on Survi's forehead. Tears stream down survi's cheeks and they both recall their past moments. savita then chides them never to fight like this again and blesses them, saying that they are made for each other. Kartik apologises. Bhau asks savita to hurry up to go outside now if she is contented. After they leave, survi stares at kartik longingly, while he looks dismayed. As he leaves Survi touches the vermillion getting emotional.
Precap: Survi clears up her truth about survi, srikant's daughter and his accused. Tai hears this and is nervous. kartik scornfully eyes her.
