The episode starts with Survi watching Kartik entering with his director, as the crowd surrounds him. Survi and Srikant are shocked as he turns away, to avoid being seen. Survi asks simi to stop him anyhow, so that she can take srikant inside. Kartik notices this as he talks with everyone but doesn't say anything, that gives his anger away, as he remembers Lata's condition. Survi hurriedly places srikant inside and then nervously comes out to meet kartik and others. Simi's mothers gets her to meet kartik, who is thanked profusely by simi for giving her a big break and assures that she won't disappoint him. Kartik replies that he's never disappointed and knows the value of people adding that she deserves it. Her mom ushers him and gives snacks while he eyes Survi crudely. Simi's mom continues blabbering that they were waiting for him, as simi said that he wouldn't come. Kartik asks why as Simi knows when he says yes he means, and he promises very rarely but when he does, he never breaks it. Survi is tensed as she recalls Kartik's denial earlier. He refers simi as truthful and he found her sensible and mature, hence thought that he should come himself to get the contract signed, as these shouldn't be delayed, nor should be interfered with, hinting at survi. He hands over the contract paper to Simi to sign and asks to sign on all papers. Survi thinks the actual role of simi in the film and stops her before signing and says everything that he said about simi's role. To her surprise, Kartik totally dismisses what he said and then says this is a love story, not a murder mystery as survi portrayed it.
Meanwhile, Srikant hears this hiding behind the door. Survi tries to state that it was said by him only. But Kartik gets it confirmed by the director, who is himself surprised at this sudden change. However he tunes to kartik and says that he has no idea how Survi got this plot. Survi is bewildered. Simi's mom is shocked too. Kartik continues that he doesn't believe in suspense rather likes love story, where there is promise, betrayal, and just single heroine, which is simran. Survi is shocked, while simi's mom is amused. Kartik asks them to read the contract, if they don't trust him. But Simi's mom promptly asks Simi to sign, trusting him. He eyes survi evilly when Simi gladly signs the contract. Srikant closes the door dejectedly. Kartik congratulates Simran as tomorrow is a new beginning and a fresh start and life and destiny both will change. Survi stands mute watching him worriedly. Kartik walks out, while simi is congratulated by all present there. She comes to tensed survi and asks why she made the story up. She replies that she herself is puzzled. Simi's mom says that she's doing this out of jealousy because she isn't Simi's real sister. But Simi stands by survi, saying that she isn't like this and asks survi to spill up. Survi says that she'll say later and leaves. As survi goes inside, srikant tells her that he saw the new kartik and everything else too, and laments at the behavioural change of his. Survi says that she has made a promise to herself that he'll be revived back. Srikant states that now he's tensed for kartik as well as her. Survi doesn't understand why kartik did this, as he said something and did something totally poles apart. Srikant is confused too then says that whatever has happened is good for Simi, so they should be happy for the beginning of her film career, and this isnt the time to complain. He tells survi that Kartik needs her the most now and he won't stops her, as he's not happy in the new life which he lives. She gets emotional.
Outside, kartik says to the director that he needn't tell about how, what and why he makes sudden changes, to anyone and that his story doesn't make a difference, but his film does. He instructs him to get the writer to write a love story, whose heroine will only be simran. the director complies and leaves. Kartik stands angrily.
Later, as survi comes out thinking that she needs to talk to kartik, kartik watches her from his car then drives in full speed right to her, recalling her betrayal and lies. He almost hits her and she screams but he stops inches away from her and then fuming, he takes a u-turn and leaves. Survi stands aside, shocked and tensed. Inside, Simi chides her mom for being so rude and insensitive, while her she asks her not to trust survi blindly, as she insulted her. She goes on questioning simi, to which simi doesn't have any answer but still supports Survi. Her mom advises her to open eyes and see survi's jealousy. She and her brother are shocked as they find survi in the doorway. She goes in without saying a word. Simi chides her mom again and goes after survi. Simi tries to cheer Survi up, asking her to forget whatever she heard and not to take her mother's words to heart as her mom is impressionable and doesn't really mean it. Survi says that her mom's anger and worry is justified and she merely had a misunderstanding which she understands, but she can't displease her mother because of that. Simi tells her that she's so generous. survi says that God knows everything and he would clarify all MU at the right time. Simi teases her of being so pious and noble. They together discuss how she would live her life after becoming a heroine. Survi says that everything will be okay, till she doesn't misunderstand her. Simi nodes saying that nothing wrong will happen to her, till she's with her and good people always get good company, like kartik. Survi thinks of his devilish behaviour earlier and is worried.
On the road, kartik is jogging on the busy streets, unable to forget survi's betrayal and her lies all this time, about her name..feels highly enraged. Kartik says that he still hadn't been able to cope with the wound that she gave 8 years ago and she stung him with new betrayal. He vows that he'll never forgive her. He roars her name aggressively.
Precap: Survi asks kartik, while he is taking care of lata, that she wishes to speak to him about something. He tells her calmly to be patient, as they've the whole night together, since she'll spend tonight with him. She is shocked as she isn't able to see what he means. As he kneels down getting close to her, she clenches her hands and stands stiff while he slides past her and bends down to take something, while his hands brushes hers.
