The episode starts with Aniket denying to take meds when Survi enters & Tai asks her to make him have meds. She thanks her. tai asks why. She says for fulfilling the promise she made. She recalls her promise to keep kartik happy, which she did, while tai is puzzled. She clarifies that it's for the money. Tai asks her to take care of the patient now as he doesn't take meds. Survi says that he can have bitter alcohol but not bitter meds. Tai & aniket are astonished. She enquires how does she know that he was alcoholic. Survi says that she smelled him but she didn't say anything as everyone has their personal life & she doesn't like to interfere. She then adds that driving while drinking is wrong. Tai agrees & asks Aniket to listen to her. She then asks her not to tell this alcohol stuff to kartik. Survi says that she needs something in return. Aniket says that now she showed her true character & asks her how much she needs. survi says that she doesn't need much, but doesn't want him to show tantrums while drinking. he stubbornly refuses. she says that she'll give injection then. Aniket is now scared & agrees for meds. Tai is amused at the way survi treated him. Survi advises that if he's so scared of injections, then he shouldn't do stuff which cause injury. he takes the meds. Tai finds aniket staring at survu, ignoring her. She is tensed as he looks at her mesmerised. tai asks him to have rest & then tells her about her guest room too, where she needs to stay and not snoop anywhere. survi agrees and leaves. Tai gives him water while eyeing them. Meanwhile, kartik wakes up. Just then, the alarm on the door starts ringing & he rushes out.

From her balcony, survi finds kartik jumping over the fence and moving past. She wonders what's he's doing here so late at night. She follows him. Kartik, being drunk, keeps tumbling around. Survi holds him in her arms. He looks up at her and an awkward eyelock happens. Then she composes him & gets him back to the room. Kartik totally doses off. shanti watches all from the room then follows them to find survi taking off his shoes and is surprised to see her concern. Survi covers him with duvet and takes off his specs, and lays them on the table. The alarm starts ringing yet again and she turns to find shanti. She asks why this noise. Without saying anything, shanti storms out and goes inside a room. Survi follows her behind & is shocked to see what she finds. Lata, who is on life support systems, is distressed as she is unable to breathe. shanti begs the nurse to do something. the nurse informs that Lata's condition is worsening and anything might happen. Survi comes in after her & is shocked to see lata in such a state, as she remembers her moments with her. Shanti rushes out to call kartik. But survi swears that she won't let anything happen to lata. Tai finds tensed shanti and asks what happened. She cries and starts saying about lata's condition, that she doesn't know what happened to her. She also tells that the nurse isn't saying anything. tai pretends to be tensed but as soon as Shanti rushes to get kartik, she dances in joy that Lata is finally going taking her worst secret with her. she says that now her drunkard son and her daughter can't do anything to save her. The nurse asks survi to get out but she demands to see lata's meds. When the nurse doesn't agree, survi insistently looks at lata's health chart & the prescribed meds to find out what's wrong. She studies her case history and is shocked. she immediately gives her a certain injection which calms her down & makes her go numb. Survi is shocked as lata becomes lifeless, the nurse goes out. Survi determines that she won't let anything happen to lata & shakes her to get up. Meanwhile, Shanti continues to try and wake kartik up, but he doesn't respond. Tai comes in. Shanti begs her to help her get him up. Tai tries too but in vain. Tai says that if anything happens to Lata, it would be great problem while she's rejoicing mentally that she'll finally get rid of lata. shanti begs her to do something while tai laments at kartik's condition & asks her not to worry as she will try. The nurse comes in just then. shanti chides her for coming there leaving Lata alone. Nurse says lata has passed away. Shanti is shocked as she hears this while tai gives the thumbs up to the nurse and then pretends to be in terrible grief. Tai goes to comfort shanti that her mother went away making everyone orphan. She then asks to see lata one last time. They leave.

On the other hand, survi is trying the chest compressions and finally lata revives back. Kartik finally wakes up, with a heavy head & blurry vision.
