I'm not sure whether the conversation in the background actually correlates to the scene in the precap since there is no lip movement. It could be a different conversation altogether. I mentioned this in another post, but it seems like Riidoy is trying to hit Shan, before Shan slaps him. It's like a blink and miss thing. Though the characters are in different clothes in the precap, I'm confident that Shan stops Ridoy in the night itself or Asmita escapes somehow.
Coming to the rape part, I don't think there is any way for that to have happened. Asmita is no Abla Nari. She's a police officer, and has fought off multiple goons before, as we have seen when she was chased by Beauty's goons. There they were trying to murder her, while here it is a handicapped Ridoy who is molesting her,
The problem is that though she is startled and panicking, she is still restraining herself while trying to fend off Ridoy because she doesn't want to injure him physically. He is Shan's brother after all and she doesn't want to harm him. That is why she's trying to talk him out of what he's doing and is backing away from him, not because she's actually docile. Rather than hitting Ridoy, she is only trying to defend herself. The Asmita in Majumdar house is indeed a facade of her true self. She is not actually the soft-spoken feminine dancer that she portrays herself to be. Only Shan, Pathan, and her police colleagues know Asmita's true nature. The only time Ridoy saw a glimpse of that was when she was driving to stop the Shan-Paro wedding, and he was very shocked. (This is why his so called love is truly obsession because he doesn't even know the real Asmita. I hope the next track involves Shan getting to know and understand this so that he is no longer guilty when he claims Asmita as his love and wife).
Even if Shan doesn't reach, Asmita will eventually end up fighting back because she will have reached her breaking point. She is capable of flinging Ridoy off and making him land somewhere, but I am damn sure that it is Shan who is going to stop Ridoy because he is headed in that direction to talk to her about Nivi. There is no way that Asmita is going to get raped, so you can relax.
Shan's conversation with Ridoy is definitely about the molestation. If Asmita had been raped, Shan would never have been that calm as he has his own breaking point that has not been reached yet. When that point is reached, there is going to be no turning back and his allegiance to Nivi and guilt towards Ridoy are automatically going to take a back seat. He is going to follow his heart over his mind, and won't even realize what he has done. Tomorrow's slap is just the start!
