I would like to see a lot of shamita scenes. Like for a change a scene where she comes of strong and he needs assistance. Usually it's the girl being vulnerable.. In fact, he needs to be saved. From this hell of a life he has been living for years.

Asmita is not the only one being forced into marriage... Shaan too.. Poor fellow...

Bijoy is the name of mousami's husband. If anything, shantanu is his own villain with the kind of attitude, warped views and selective memory he has. He remembers and hates chanda because she is a prostitute and had a child with a married man, but doesn't hate or feel disgust at his father for being that married man who cheated his wife to have an affair with a prostitute of sonagachi. He thinks puchki and any girl of sonagachi doesn't deserve a life of respect, yet he being a boy of sonagachi somehow is without any taint and deserves a life of respect. It is this warped attitude and behaviour of shantanu that he has made of himself out of desperation to be accepted into the wealthy majumdar family that makes him his own enemy. Unless he changes his own attitude towards sonagachi and the girls there, until then he will remain the biggest villain of his own love story.
