Puchki at banyan tree ..complaining to God for not replying to her 5 letters . she decides to stay put there until God responded by getting Shantanu back .
she ties herself to the tree with a dupatta . she soon falls asleep .Later Thakuma sees her n feels sorry for the kid . So does Pathan chacha .
...the dupatta catches fire and pathan saves puchki .she is concerned about her letters burning in the fire . she feels her prayers will remain unanswered . she weeps for Shantanu ..
At Majumdar Bungalow Arindam is trying to explain to wife Nivedita and they are unwilling to send back Shantanu as they both liked the boy . they decide to speak to dadu over this ..
the mansion is decorated , there are guests and family friends for the pre wedding function of Arindam's sister Mousami.
arindam's younger bro Nilambar Majumdar introduces shantanu to the guests . daadu ..Ravindra Majumdar is furious to see this . shantanu feels out of place n scared . all praise the kid .. they say he resembled Arindam in looks too . they praise Ravindra Majumdar for selecting a bigger boy .. he had set an exame for other s to follow during adoption . soon its time to welcome bride n groom Bijoy and .Mousumi ..

daadu Arindam Majumdar threatens his younger son that he will be dis inherited if he did not send that kid back ...
soon Shantanu impresses guests by his vast knowledge of the freedom movement . the guests are full of praises for Shantanu . he then tells every one how he loved reading books .
at BAri ..chanda is missing her son ..arpita consoles her .
they decide to leave SHantanu alone .. he will soon settle down . they decide to make puchki independent so that she earns a name of her own .
AT Majumdar Bugalow shantanu cares for a sick lady and again guests praise . Arindam and Senior Majumdar /dadu too smiles at the boy for his caring attitude n good manners .
Daadu then introduces his new family members Bijoy(SIL) and Shan Majumdar (Grandson) to every one . his entire family , friends n guests are happy and approve of his choice .
Shan misses puchki as he joins his new family on stage .
