Kuhu is shaurya n varsha's daughter and mishti is adopted by bade Papa and badi mummy who are shaurya's parents.

By this logic mishti should be shaurya's sister and kuhu' s aunty 🤓

Technically mishti n kuhu are same aged bua - bhatiji... Then why everybody keeps saying behen - behen 🤔??

Italics-Well since cousins are called behen/bhai in India people generally call cousin's cousins as such also

Mishti is daughter of Shaurya's sister's brother in law. In that way she is Kuhu's distant cousin. The adoption was not official because Mishti is Agarwal not Maheshwari.
