This is how I see it all---

The indignant, regressive, overly-dramatic, controlling, domineering and intimidating nature off BB we are all witnessing over the last 2-3 episodes, is actually the real Meenakshi Rajvansh that she has been suppressing for the entire show, just in the hope that all her sacrifices will end up re-paying her with her 'asli waaris'.

This is the BB that Abir has always warned everyone else about - the one who doesn't care about anyone else, is so selfish for her own reputation and status, that she can go to any lengths including hurting the ones closest to her. But no one truly believed Abir's words, because Meenu was just that good at acting and putting up the facade of a 'nice' mother, saas, sister etc whenever it was required.

She's always had an issue with Parul-Kunal staying in her house (like she has mentioned before, it constantly reminds her of how she failed in choosing a life partner) , everytime she sees them it pricks her ego that she was fooled, tricked and ultimately betrayed by Mehul. So it was her saam daam dand bedh goal to show the rest of the world that she Meenakshi Rajvansh will be the strongest and most powerful (business) woman. If she wanted she could have just allowed Parul to stay with her and help pay for Kunal's education etc and then decided when Kunal had enough experience working, to just say goodbye. But no, BB gave Kunal her last name, gave him the title of Red Pear trvel MD etc, just so that Parul and Kunal will always have a huge ehsaan on her, and so would never dare to stand up against her. She's always used Kunal to get closer to Abir, or at least try to control Abir - which she has failed and continues to fail.

Just like she mentioned last week at Mah house - she was happy to hear Mishti n Abir are ready to become parents because that's what she has been counting on for year n years. She wants to be able to re-live that motherhood she lost as a result of Mehul's betrayal. If only she transformed her sacrifice and pain in to genuine affection and repent, rather than ego and dominance; she could've actually grown as a human - understanding that no one else should have to go through all that pain and sacrifice that she did.

However ever since Mishti and Kuhu have entered her house/their lives, she has gradually lost all the handles and grip of control she had on the family and house. And I think the previous mini-track of the sister's fighting really emphasised that. The moment Abir and Kunal left RV house just for the sake of 'solving' the sister's fight, Meenakshi knew that she had lost every control - hence threw the sisters out of the house; not because she wanted them to resolve matters but just to get Abir n Kunal back home in her reigns, under her watch, in her custody.

Uru's analysis of her saasuma is probably the best way to summarise Meenakshi and her actions.

She is one mean, manipulative and melodramatic woman😎🤣

Of course she kept Mehul’s 2nd wife and child with her for selfish reasons, to control and use Kunal, to humiliate Parul and to hide Mehul’s indiscretions from the society so she doesn’t lose face.

Her lifelong battles and sacrifices have made an already egotistical person into a harsh, cruel and twisted woman. She wants other women to suffer her fate, of living with her husband’s illegal wife. That’s why she was still going ahead with Ketu’s wedding with Ved even after learning that Ved was already married! Means she wanted Ketu to suffer a lifetime of being a 2nd wife!! Now she wants Mishti to accept Abir’s remarriage! Meenu’s mind is warped and twisted beyond sanity.

And I don’t think she loves either Abir or Kunal, she just loves herself! She sees Abir only as an extension of herself and wants Abir’s child for the same reason, as someone she can control in the future as she can never control Abir in this lifetime.

Their pattern is what is so glaringly yet interestingly contrasted against mishbir. The fact that Kuhu n Kunal never really got time to know n understand each other before their first marriage, and after that became more invested in each other's family matter totally translates as to why they are still figuring and discovering things about each other. I'm not saying it's completely wrong, because there is no way you can know every little thing about your partner before marriage (mishbir are still learning too), but kuhu n kunal had just started their foundation of friendship and then Kunal was forced into marriage. Then they had their own trust issues. So that's why that divorce track and Kunal's birth truth track was so important, which was not handled properly in terms of their relationship.

Anyway season 2 Kuhu-Kunal do seem to be much more open, realistic and willing to focus on themselves first👍🏼👏This is a nicer progression

Yes, they are being more open about their feelings as well as insecurities too. Still now, they never got time for themselves and now surrogacy. Hope they try to spend more time in future.
